Stayed for my son's wedding for two nights. We cannot fault the cleanliness, facilities or space. The only downside is the beds, particularly the double bed. It's too small and the mattress is of very cheap, poor quality. This resulted in a lack of sleep both nights. Nothing a memory foam mattress couldn't resolve Unfortunately, I couldn't recommend due to the bed quality and the lack of sleep. Shame as everything else is perfect !

We had travelled overland by car from Turkey and needed somewhere relaxing and dog friendly in which to stay whilst we sorted out accomodation in York. Blossom Cottage was perfect for us. Everything was spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, kitchen well appointed, internet easy, plenty hot water, off-load baggage at the cottage door and then just a short 50m to the car park. Heaven for our dog, an 11 year old Golden Retriever, he has lived all his life by the sea, swimming and walking at the beach. Instincts cut in immediately when we walked in the fields and woods outside our door, pheasants, rabbits, and squirrels all around, I've rarely seen him so happy. The grounds of the site are immaculate and I enjoyed chatting to the groundsman in the mornings, he keeps the place looking very tidy. Overall 10/10.

My partner stayed the night before our wedding and was able to get up and dressed the day of the wedding. We both stayed the night of the wedding as well. A lovely cottage. Very friendly stay. It was just perfect. The whole package. Thank you so much!!!

Absolutely beautiful place to stay, communication was brilliant, I received several email updates with balances and receipts and extra information which was helpful. Staff very polite and helpful on the phone. Blossom cottage was gorgeous and very clean upon arrival. Lovely space to sit outside and comfortable beds. Easy check in and out and honestly just an amazing weekend. Couldn’t fault anything and would 100% recommend.

We booked this smaller cottage alongside the large house for the weekend.

It was a perfect little cottage providing everything you could need.

We had a wonderful weekend and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The cottage was immaculate on arrival, the place has everything you need (towels, tea, coffee, things to clean up in the kitchen) and was very spacious for us all to stay in. Bathroom was a great size and we found the kitchen to be perfect to cook and socialise around in day and night! As we were staying for a Wedding, it was indeed the perfect location for us to go to and from the venue on site! The ladies on the phone were very helpful when organising payment and deposit ahead of our visit. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay there, thank you very much!

Gorgeous accommodation staff helpful from start to finish. Ideal location for a girlie weekend. We hired two cottages with a total of 23 girls. We stayed in both nights but travelled into York by local taxis during the day. An excellent weekend enjoyed by mixed ages

We booked Blossom Cottage along with Minster Lodge for our group get together both houses were beautiful and extremely well equipped. Beautiful setting and surroundings couldn't of asked for better.

Good kitchen supplies available. Floor was hoovered but needs washing after each use as socks/feet were black with dirt walking on it. Double bed slats made squeaking noise when lying on it leading to disrupted sleep. Metal frame was tightened by staff but unfortunately that didn't stop the noise. Sofa bed mattress was very thin and uncomfortable. Big clock did not work even with new battery. But these things did not spoil our stay. Just hope they are helpful to keep standards high as it is very expensive .

A great stay as always during the hottest period in the UK. When our plans changed and we needed to stay another couple of days mid-week it was not a problem to the fantastic team.

Comfy 2 brms, perfectly clean bathroom and throughout. Everything that we needed on hand. Good wifi. Great access to Clifton Moor shops and Haxby.

We arrived early and cottage was ready for us. We could unload car easily. Plenty of space for 3 of us. Great to be on site for the wedding and to be able to socialise with the rest of the family. Quiet position away from road noise and other parties. Mattresses on beds were a little thin. We managed with shower over bath. Everything we needed to prepare a buffet was provided including foil, dishes, ice etc

We stayed at Blossom Cottage for 2 nights, attending a family wedding in the Barn, which is on the outskirts of York. The Wedding venue itself was outstanding and staff extremely attentive and helpful. The cottage sits in a courtyard with other similar cottages, very close to the Barn, so was perfectly convenient for the wedding.
The Cottage was spotlessly clean and appeared to have been recently refurbished. The cottage was adequately equipped for self catering, which we did on one night. There is a single bathroom, with an over bath shower, and plenty of hot water. Towels and bedding are all included.
All the beds were sadly uncomfortable - the double bed has a foot, making a tad short for comfort and one of the singles, I am told squeaked every time our son turned over, disturbing both children. That said, the pros certainly outweighed the cons and I would certainly recommend the venue and attached cottages for short stays / celebrations- I think we would struggle as a family with teenagers to stay for longer than a weekend- comfy beds for us are a deal breaker on longer holidays.

My son and partner stayed here in between moving properties and thought the cottage and surroundings were beautiful.
The cottage was well kept and comfortable and the location to shops etc excellent.

We stayed in 2brm Blossom Cottage for 2 weeks and it was great. All the space we needed and all the comforts. We had initially only booked for a week but we decided to stay longer. Great customer service. Very friendly staff and management. Good wifi, easy access (all ground floor), good hot water and heating, easy parking, great access to York and surrounds. Lovely place to stay, close to shops, York, and local pubs with excellent food (would recommend The Black Horse). I'd be happy to stay here for longer but this stay was for a family wedding so we were limited to time to explore.

I stayed at Blossom cottage for my wedding weekend and it was just perfect. Such a pretty cottage with plenty of space and modern facilities. The bathroom was beautiful and the kitchen/living area made for the perfect spot for me and my bridesmaids to get our hair and make up done. I'd definitely recommend blossom cottage.

Our stay was amazing, I booked 3 cottages for 12 girls, Bishop, coney and Melrose for bank holiday weekend.
However I booked the Fri and Saturday instead of the Saturday and Sunday completely not realising my mistake! I was distraught when villa farm contacted me to ask how the journey was going as we were not leaving till the next day. Corrina was amazing and bent over backwards to change our dates so that we could still get the two nights... the accommodation was immaculate, hot tub amazing and so close to the town centre. The staff were so friendly and couldn’t have done more to rectify my silly mistake. We also stayed in Roman cottage December 18 for my sisters 30th and we had the best time from start to finish..... can’t wait to come back! Thank you again Corrina you really did save the day!
