We had a wonderful stay and thoroughly enjoyed our time in Lodge 4. The lodge was a little dated in places, but it was clean, quiet, and very cosy, which made it easy to relax and switch off. It's located in the most peaceful setting but within a 10/15 minute walk of the town, we stayed over Christmas so the walk along Well Road was beautiful with all the houses lit up with Christmas lights. We had a wonderful stay at the lodges - the weather wasn’t the best but the lodge was super cosy, warm and comfortable, so we didn’t mind. Our dogs loved it too! It’s about a 20-minute walk to Moffat high street with many nice shops and cafes. Great communication with Lydia who made sure our stay was comfortable. Would recommend anyone looking for a stay near Moffat!
