A fabulous compact bungalow located just outside the heart of East Wittering village where cafes and shops are plentiful. The Pad is the perfect place for a spring or summer holiday at the sea side as it is only a short walk to the beach. Alternatively, you can enjoy an autumn or winter break and make the most of beautiful coastal walks and visits to local places of interest.

So happy with the Pad. We have stayed in the Witterings for several years now in a couple of different houses of different sizes. However, the Pad was the best maintained and looked after property. They clearly put the money back into the house unlike one of the previous houses. It has everything you need and really organised. I will definitely book it again. We felt very welcome.

This is the second time we have stayed at The Pad. The property is in a good location being within a 5 minute walk to the beach & East Wittering village.
The property is well kept, furnished well and has a lovely dog friendly garden.
We will be returning again next year all being well.

The Pad is a great place to stay. It is clean, comfortable, well equipped and very peaceful. The garden provided a relaxing space to enjoy some downtime or relax after a busy day. The location was perfect, just a short walk to the shops and restaurants and East Wittering beach. We found some lovely walks in the surrounding area, and there is also a good bus service to Chichester and beyond

The booking was very well managed by Baileys Estates and their service was excellent from start to finish.

Overall we had a great experience, and have nothing negative to say about our stay. Would highly recommend

We had a fantastic stay at the pad, the house was immaculate, with great facilities. The kitchen was compact but had everything you needed for a comfortable stay.
The garden is enclosed, and has been well thought out with a little lawned area and lots of beautiful plants our dogs had a great time exploring.
The location is great, 5 mins from the centre of east witting and 10 min walk to the beach, we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Thank you!

This is our 4th year staying in a property owned by this couple and we will be back next year. The Pad is modern, clean, well equipped and has a lovely little sun trap of a garden with lots of tropical plants in it. The last 3 years we stayed in their other property (The Snug) and when the toaster packed up they replaced it the same day so we knew we wanted to stay in their property again.
There is free wifi, a nice big TV if the weather is not so good and board games as well.
The curved wooden ikea style chairs with their footrest and the recling sofa were very comfortable.
The only very small thing which is easily remedied and not really a downpoint is that the kitchen is so well equipped that the cupboards were full of crockery, glassware and cooking stuff and we had trouble finding space for groceries but we moved half the glassware and bowls to make room and put them back before we left. The Snug's kitchen is larger so doesn't have that problem. Really not a complaint just feedback.
For Baileys we've called on them twice whilst staying over the years, once because we didn't have enough hangers and this year when the toilet flush malfuntioned, both time the problems were fixed in hours, excellent service, thankyou.

So impressed with last year we booked up for this year . Beautiful place in a great destination. So quite only the seagulls which was a delight .the Pad was homely and spotless . Enjoying the little treats fresh flowers on the lounge table . Fresh milk in the fridge . Assortment of teas and coffee sachets to choice & hot chocolate drinks with biscuits. Staff available if we needed any assistance on the other end of the phone

Everything was so clean and very near the beach and shops.
We just had a problem with the seating in the lounge. The settees were very low and the dining chairs and were not that comfortable. Not just for me but for two 30 year olds.

Otherwise, everything was excellent.

We've been coming to East Wittering for 12 years now, normally for our main Summer Family Holiday, and using Baileys as Managing Agent for the Holiday Let.

We were looking for a last minute Spring Break, (with a smaller group of people), and with Bailey's help settled on The Pad.

Great choice, it's a really great smaller property, in a quiet pleasant neighbourhood and so close to the main town. Beach is a short walk too.

Really enjoyed by the Wife, me, and the two Poodles !!

We had a fabulous long weekend at The Pad. The property was spotlessly clean and well-resourced. We enjoyed being able to walk to East Wittering, both the beach and the village. Great location for West Wittering and Chichester and we went on some fabulous walks. We hope to return!

A lovely well equipped cottage based in an ideal position to visit the area.. The cottage is in immaculate condition and has everything you might need during your stay. Well positioned near the shops and ideal for the beach. We have stayed in many cottages in the area over the past 10 years or so and this is by far the best - we have already booked for next year!

Have always stayed on the seafront at wittering, and decided for a change we would stay in the pad at the back of east wittering shops. It was very different and very quiet, and very enjoyable.lovely..
If there is one complaint it is for a walk in shower as my sister is disabled.
