Great, quiet and peaceful location but easy to access busier beaches too. It was a great little house and the whole family loved it.
This was our 5th stay in a Poppyland Holiday Cottage, our 2nd at Gardener's Cottage on The Londs in Overstrand. Great location, only a minute or two to the beach. The cottage was immaculately presented and has been extended to include a dining room since our last visit. All we could need was provided for another memorable holiday!
A great place to stay.Appreciated the welcome pack that was there for us on our arrival. Our first visit to Norfolk and will not be our last. Well equipped kitchen....Always managed to find on street parking.
Hollybrook Cottage is beautifully refurbished cottage with all the equipment and comforts you might need. Quality decor and furnishings make for very pleasant stay. Peaceful village location near Felbrigg Hall with (free) access to the estate grounds for lovely walks just down the lane. Perfectly placed for Cromer, Sheringham, Holt and the beautiful north Norfolk coast. Welcome hamper of wine and goodies much appreciated. Would definitely stay again and recommend.
Lovely large house that felt spacious, good quality furniture and fittings. Beds very comfortable. Showers were very good. Sited in a very quiet area. Description in brochure was as found. Only would have liked a door on the suite bathroom. Only one very large frying pan and no potato peeler. Everybody thought the house was excellent.
We had a lovely stay at Forsythia house, however, there were two gripes that are simple to remedy and would have made the stay more enjoyable. There were a total of 4 glasses (excluding wine), of these two were high ball and two short. We had to use coffee cups for drinking breakfast orange juice as not enough glasses to go round. Please make sure there are enough of each glass, cup, bowl etc. for all guests to use at once. Also the door shelf in the fridge for milk and bottles was missing. This was extremely frustrating as the fridge is small in any event and having to put milk in the m...more
Hardy’s Cottage is a lovely flint cottage, one of 3 set back from the road. We were lucky to have beautiful weather, but the cottage stayed pleasantly cool. It is very well appointed and very comfortable as well as being spotlessly clean. The cottage is only about 300 yards from the sea and it was lovely to be able to stroll to the sea each morning and evening. The location is great as a base for exploring Norfolk, and in all, we had a lovely week staying there.
A lovely place to stay very comfortable and very near the sea Everything you need in the cottage great welcome pack will be back
We couldn’t have asked for a lovelier cottage, was spotless throughout and the gardens are lovely for eating out, nice little sun trap for breakfast in the mornings. Tracy is a lovely lady and very helpful.
Lovely cottage - spacious, well-equipped & very clean. The highlight was the garden. It was fantastic to be be able to come back after a hot day at the seaside & eat our evening meal in the cool & shady garden. Also the cottage & the garden were wonderful for the dog!
