Robin's Rest is a cosy single storey barn conversion set in the peaceful countryside of East Somerton. This one bedroom/one bathroom detached property is perfect for a couple, and has a large enclosed garden as well as off road parking. One dog is welcome at no additional charge.

On arrival at Robin's Rest on Monday afternoon, we were immediately impressed with the large, well cared-for garden. Plenty of shade made it perfect for our dog to sit out in during the heat of the day. There were also a lot of outdoor seating options, including a small decking area with table and chairs, sun-loungers on the lawn, and benches in the barbecue area and next to the summerhouse.
Inside, we were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and snacks. The lounge/kitchen was small but well-equipped, and had all we needed during our stay. Bathroom was clean and modern, with a good shower and plenty of towels provided, and the bedroom very comfortable.
We also took advantage of the adjoining field to stretch our dog's legs in the early morning and evening, and take in the lovely views across the countryside.
A lovely location, being only a short distance to the beach at either Winterton or Hemsby.
We had a very enjoyable stay, and would happily come here again.

Great little place to stay, immaculate inside and out! Our dogs loved the garden and the paddock beyond.
Its quite small but perfectly formed, decorated to a high standard and you really had everything at your fingertips, the sunbeds and garden room a big plus. Lovely little welcome pack included too!

Only reason we dropped a 4 in the "comfort" was because the duvet cover on the bed had seen better days, it was very bobbly on the inside and uncomfortable to sleep under...so we resolved it by turning it over. But it never spoilt our enjoyment of Robins nest. Thanks so much for sharing this property.

Recommend the Chinese takeway Royal China in Mashan which is a nice village close by!

I booked this barn conversion for my daughter and me for a week away. The accommodation was lovely very well equipped and clean. The garden was large with a summerhouse and plenty of garden furniture and cushions together with a decking area sheltered from breeze and a bbq area at the rear. I would recommend this property unreservedly. There was also a welcome gift on arrival and a pint of milk provided in fridge.

A stunning, well equipped Lodge.

Private garden, with sun loungers, table and chairs, a bbq area, and a stunning sun house.
Dog friendly and safe garden.
Treats for the dogs, toys, and bedding.
Would highly recommend a stay at Robins Rest.

Fantastic location for touring the Norfolk broads. Accommodation was clean with everything we needed. The enclosed garden was great for our dog as was the adjoining paddock which also doubled up as a golf chipping range. The garden has different seating areas which we took full advantage of as the weather was really hot. Great hosts and will have no hesitation in returning and recommending.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Robins Rest, everything was spotlessly clean & had everything you needed for us & our dog. Loved the garden & summerhouse.

Our 2nd stay in 3 months, this time for four nights.

We were VERY impressed with the extra effort made by the owners in providing items such as an umbrella,9 boot rack, games and information about the local area. Facilities for us and our dog were first class.
We have already told our family and friends to check out the cottage.
The two cottages would be ideal for a family holiday.
