Located on a small development of five barn conversions, Natterjack is a modern two bedroom barn conversion which would suit either a family or a couple. With the beach only a 5-10 minute walk, Natterjack is the perfect cottage for a relaxing stay by the sea. Sleeps four with three dogs welcome.

Quite and relaxing break

This was our third stay at natterjack and won’t be our last. The cottage is so clean and tidy and everything you would ever need is there. The decor is so lovely. Lovely dog friendly pub in the village and the cod and chips from the chip shop are the best we have ever tasted. Lovely quiet beach is 10 mins walk where you can get a drink and bite to eat and public toilets are available if needed. can’t wait to get back. Mandy and Jonathan have done themselves proud

Beautiful and well equipped barn with great attention to detail, especially thank you for treats and blankets for dogs etc.
But walk is at least 20 mins to beach, not 5-10 mins. Dunes can be reached in 10 minutes but for beach double that time.
Master bedroom had very thin deviding wall to next door's unit, could hear their baby crying, children shouting etc. We had 2 new parties arriving during our week and we could each time hear their children and their conversation.
Not as private a holiday home as we hoped. Customer care provided by the owner (as we had a rain leak) was good.

Thank you for your review - Natterjack is about 700-720 metres from the beach so it should take less than 10 minutes to walk there, but it may be less or more for some depending on how fast they walk. I'm sorry if there was some noise from the barn next door. We haven't had this feedback from anyone before, but it is also a holiday property and attached to Natterjack at the side.

What a beautiful cottage. The attention to detail is faultless! So nice to have a decent sized totally secure garden for our two Labradors and us to relax in! Cottage is situated so close to the dunes and beach. Perfect for the dogs! We loved the pub, minutes walk from the cottage the Fisherman’s Rest had two good meals there.

We have just returned home from our third stay at Natterjack and have booked again already for 2026. We visit with Woody our Cocker Spaniel and we all have a wonderful time. The cottage is very well looked after and has everything we need for our week's stay. Woody particularly enjoys having a mooch in the garden and we love eating outside when the sun is shining. The beach is within a few minutes stroll and the local pub, which is even closer and is very dog friendly, serves excellent pub grub too. What more could you want.

A beautiful cottage in a lovely village.
Everything provided with thoughtful touches, like milk, cake and treats for the dog.
Would not hesitate to go back for another stay.

We had a great weekend at Natterjack cottage. It was great parking the car up on Friday afternoon and being able to walk everywhere. That was one of the reasons for picking the location. The cottage itself is superb. The owners have done a fantastic job of really making it a "home from home." The attention to detail and all the extra touches make it a really comfortable and relaxing stay. We look forward to returning very soon!

Natterjack cottage is very special. The owners have thought of everything you may need. The furniture and beds are very comfortable and the main living space is very spacious but still feels very cosy. The garden is also much bigger than I expected and gets the sun in the afternoons so both my dog and I enjoyed spending time out there. We also appreciated the cake and goodies that were there when we arrived. The location is great as well and only a few minutes walk to the beach and dunes. I'd definitely recommend Natterjack cottage and I'll certainly be returning.

Just home from a 4 night stay at Natterjack & can’t wait to go back. We (dogs included!) had everything we could have needed including casserole dishes & potato masher! The dogs were secure in the fenced garden which meant we could all relax properly. Spotlessly clean & well decorated/designed with a seaside theme. Minutes walk to the dunes & the beachside cafe. Sad to see how the coastal erosion is affecting the area but the beach is still easily accessible from the cottage via the dunes. A fantastic stay and will definitely return. Thank you.
