There is 'why not?' a clock from a Russian submarine in the bathroom, with a pig diving into the village pond above the bath. And an array of bathrobes, umbrellas, kitchen equipment, and speakers set into ceilings; press a button on the wall of the sitting room and the sound floods in. The space is both immaculate and generous: a long, light hall and huge sitting/dining room with a terrific fireplace (all the logs you need) and a sculpture above it. Lovely cottage with a wonderful view over the Shropshire countryside. Very quiet with lots of bird song and nature to see. Only a 5min drive into the village of Clun and within easy reach of Ludlow, Craven Arms and other local places. Quirky cottage with adequate kitchen. Lovely bathroom with shower and bath. All comforts thought of. Lovely suprise of Bubbly in the fridge and numerous groceries left to start us off on our holiday.
