Despite only being at Goldcrest for two night it was very relaxing and a good recharge. Beautiful surroundings and peaceful. The lodge was comfortable and just the right size for our needs. Everything was in order on our arrival apart from checking of the hot tub, which was later than expected. It however didn't ruin our stay. Plenty to do around the area and a great village pub,in walking distance, with lovely food.
Excellent communication before our arrival and during our stay. Peaceful location, exceptionally well cared for. All essentials generously provided and lovely welcome pack. Made a great base for exploring in many directions. Our party was multi generational with a dog and everyone had a great stay. Thank you very much.
Excellent communication before our stay and we were delighted with our lodge on arrival. The lodge was extremely clean and well equipped, very comfortable and the hot tub was a perfect addition. The location was ideal for exploring the Somerset and East Devon, but incredibly calm and quiet with lovely local walks
We had a 5 night stay at Flycatcher lodge with three generations of our family. The hot tub was enjoyed by our son his partner and our grandchildren. There were a couple of issues during our stay and where possible these were rectified. While we realise that the boundary hedges assure privacy they do make the lodge dark in areas, perhaps taking some height off could help. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would return.
