After touring Wales we finished off our break here in Buntings Lodge, although we have been here quite a few times now over the years its one of our favourite places to stay, its immaculately looked after and is so comfortable, feels like home from home, Suzanne and Chris look after you so well, homemade flapjacks and lovely apple juice provided on arrival which goes down well with a cup of tea, and the hot tub is a great asset which we used daily, the surroundings is beautiful and well kept, you just couldn't wish for anymore. What an absolute gem! Upon arrival we was so pleasantly surprised to find homemade flapjacks, fresh juices and tea coffee sugar and milk all supplied for us . There was a throw blanket and towel for the dogs and some complimentary doggy treats :) everything was so well presented and the lodge was immaculate. We had the most wonderful relaxing time and caught 8 carp and 1 tench over the 3 nights that we stayed :) the location is tucked away making it feel like your in the middle of no where but local amenities are only a stone throw away . Goldcrest lodge was so sweet, perfect for what we needed, well equipped for a long break. Hot tub was a bonus. A book full of information on local pubs restaurants and walking routes with guided maps. Bed was comfortable and we found it really pieceful. Everything we needed for cooking, and loved the little tea cups. Everything was clean And shops,restaurants were only 10 min drive away.
We have just returned from a lovely stay in Woodpecker Lodge at Mill Meadow. The lodge was super and perfect for four adults and our one year old granddaughter; Suzanne even provided a play mat and a selection of toys. Although the weather was cold and wet (it was January in the UK!) we warmed ourselves in the hot tub and sauna. The lodge was very clean and provided with everything you could need. This is our 9th year returning to Mill Meadow but our first year staying in Kingfisher Lodge and once again it did not disappoint. The lodge is well laid out and for 6 of us staying with 2 dogs there was still plenty of room. Very convenient for shops and deliveries and this year Taunton had a Winter Wonderland which we visited also. Will be looking forward to coming again soon.
We recently stayed in Flycatcher at Mill Meadow for a quiet break/hen do and it was perfect! Customer service was 10/10. I was given so much information and support to make our break perfect. The location and grounds were beautiful. Our daily walks around the lake and in the forestry area were a highlight of mine, then coming back to use the sauna and hot tub made it even more magical. We ordered afternoon tea with Joy which made everyone's day! The best I've ever had! I cannot wait to return!
