After touring Wales we finished off our break here in Buntings Lodge, although we have been here quite a few times now over the years its one of our favourite places to stay, its immaculately looked after and is so comfortable, feels like home from home, Suzanne and Chris look after you so well, homemade flapjacks and lovely apple juice provided on arrival which goes down well with a cup of tea, and the hot tub is a great asset which we used daily, the surroundings is beautiful and well kept, you just couldn't wish for anymore. This is the second time we've visited this establishment, and once again, it was outstanding. Suzanne and Chris are the perfect host.
My family and I took my mother, who is on palliative care away for a few days. We had such a lovely time, mum was comfortable and relaxed. We had everything we needed and more. Suzanne was so attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and mums needs were met. Highly recommend and would love to visit again.
Customer service was great, Suzanne was really helpful with helping me organise the stay as a surprise for my partner’s birthday. The lodge was clean and had everything we needed. The location was good and my other half did a bit of fishing in the lake. The only let down, which was completely out of the host’s control, was that the road outside was closed, so we had a bit of noise due to the roadworks being done and people ignoring the road closed signs and then having to turn around right outside of the lodge.
You really can’t go wrong with Mill Meadow. The lodges are warm, welcoming, and spotlessly clean. A great location for using as a base to explore the area, or for staying put and relaxing in comfort. We used the hot tub at the end of every day to ease tired bodies and minds, after long walks in the countryside. The local pubs and restaurants all served excellent food, and were so welcoming. Chris and Suzanne were fabulous as always, and kept in touch throughout the booking process as well as during our stay, just to make sure we had everything we needed to make our staycation perfect!
We go to Mill Meadow for a week once a month so that I can ride on the Quantocks Hills with my friends. Mill Meadow is just a super happy place to stay. Chris and Suzanne really put themselves out to be welcoming and meet all our requests and all of the staff are reliable and very helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend staying at Mill Meadow.Our elderly dog starts her day swimming in the streams in the spinney just above Mill Meadow and positively smiles.
This was an our second time visiting Mill Meadow, but our first time staying in Flycatcher and it did not disappoint. Chris and Suzanne had the warmest welcome for us and our family, and nothing was too much trouble. The setting is absolutely idyllic, whether it be as a nice relaxing dip in the hot tub, a gentle stroll into the village or a couple of hours of quiet fishing, there was something there for us all. We had an amazing stay in Robins Lodge. Everything thing was spotless and the kitchen had everything that we needed. Chris and the team were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them.
