The cottage was decorated beautifully and spotlessly clean. There were several cottages at the site but we rarely seen anyone. The ability to walk from the door and see all of the animals really felt like a home from home for us and our dogs. We also loved the access to the enclosed fields and to have a drink and see the view from the top of the hill. The cottage had everything we would have wanted for our comfort and to cook. Loved our return visit to Spice Barn at Old Lanwarnick. Having been last year it didn’t take long to decide to come back and I’m so grateful we did. We had an amazing time both while At Old Lanwarnick and visiting surrounding area. I would highly recommend the cottages to anyone but in particular to someone traveling with dogs. Our dog loves being able to run around in the Dog fields and the accommodation takes everything into account so they are truly dog friendly. Happy few days with our Grandson at Blackberry Barn. Small but pretty much perfectly formed. Lavish bathroom. Comfortable. Beautiful spot. Most struck by thought given to the details - clever kitchen starter pack, coffee pods supplied, very well equipped, easy to look after - and by delightful welcome basket with eggs from the farm and the most delicious fruit cake I've ever tasted. It provided everything we needed, with skill and a dash of flair.
Beautiful spacious well equipped farmhouse with the outside fenced completely to enable dogs to wonder in and out safely. Lots of areas to walk your dogs on leads and off.
This was our 3rd time at this location and 3rd cottage and again nothing disappoints. Beautiful setting peace and quiet. Welcome basket on arrival. Apart from the 5 star service for us our dogs also had 5 star service, bowls treats towels and 3 fully secure enclosures. The cottage was spotlessly clean and every thing you could possibly need. Crisp white bedding and a very comfortable bed. The added bonus the animals on site Pygmy goats, chickens ducks and Alpacas. Thank you for an excellent stay. The accommodation was excellent with good bedrooms and a lovely kitchen area. The dog friendliness was spot on with well thought through facilities. We had a very relaxing time. Our only criticism would be the plastic handles on the pots are not suited to a gas hob they get very hot and could be a fire risk.
