Fantastic walks from the door and near to forests and the Bodmin Moor. Dogs and children very welcome. Winners of the Cornwall Tourism Gold award for Dog Friendly Business Of The Year 2017/2018!
We have stayed at the Old Farmhouse before and knew this location suits our needs perfectly with 2 Cockapoos. We chose Blackberry Barn as our party was smaller this year.
There is no fault with the property and location if you want quiet and good walks then this is for you.
The hosts Vicky and Matthew can’t do enough to make their guests stay perfect and nothing was too much trouble.
The accommodation is 5 star providing everything you need even bowls towels and treats for the dogs.
I love the fully secure dog enclosures and know letting our 2 off they can run around and be safe.

We had a lovely family holiday at Old Lanwarnick! We stayed as a big group of 18 so we had The Old Farmhouse, Hob Nob & Blackberry Barn and it was lovely. All of my family commented on how great the properties were and they could see how much hard work had been put into making them so lovely. Everything was very clean, the facilities were great and the grounds are also lovely.
We would highly recommend the properties to anyone looking to stay in the area and some of my family already want to book to come back!
A peaceful retreat in a beautiful rural setting. Accommodation was spotless, very well equipped, a comfortable home from home.
VERY dog friendly - dogs are positively welcomed rather than just tolerated (as some places can be). The on site dog exercise areas, woodland walk and fields, warm dog shower, nearby forest - excellent facilities for both the very active and maybe not so active dogs. Well positioned to visit other attractions/areas of interest in this part of Cornwall.
