A superb 4-bedroom detached villa in the prestigious Komurluk area of Kalkan just 150 metres from the nearest beach club. The villa has beautiful views, its own infinity-edged pool and its best feature is probably its large roof terrace with huge Ottoman seating area and Jacuzzi plunge pool.

Great location close to the sea, but difficult to get to - access via a step slope and a number of steps . No direct access from any road and tucked behind lots of other villas. Nightmare when you are bringing bags and shopping back to the villa - this was not clearly described .
There were various very tired elements to the house which should have been sorted before it was rented out - difficult to use chipped hob, rusty washing machine, dripping loos, mechanical failure of an electrical mirror in one of the bedrooms- so you only have 15cm of mirror in the master bedroom. Many cold showers internet problems throughout the 2 weeks .. We spent far too much of our holiday contacting Rudi to sort things out …. Don’t have these issues in our own home and certainly don’t want to go on holiday to have to deal with this.Have used Olive tree many times and has rather put us off.

Lovely villa with good support from the local agent and Olive Tree Travel. Good location about a 20 minute walk from the town but there are many steps down to the villa so it is not for people that have health or fitness issues.

The service received from Olive Tree was nothing short of excellent. The quality of the Villa was really good and it's location with that view is simply stunning. Highly recommended!

Our family of 5 loved every minute at Villa Mercan. It is furnished to a very high standard inside and out, the pool area and sun loungers were great, with amazing views. Situated just behind the Palm beach club it is in a great position in the Kormurluk area of Kalkan so just a 10 min stroll into the centre either along the coastal path or on the main rd.
The villa is very well maintained and the pool area is cleaned every day, the welcome pack and complimentary fresh bread every morning was a nice touch.
All 4 of the bedrooms have fantastic sea views and the rooftop area with ottoman seating and hot tub is a great additional feature.
We would definitely recommend villa Mercan and would love to stay there again!!

We stayed at Villa Mercan in August for two weeks with our two young children and two friends and their daughter. The location is fantastic, about a 10 minute walk along the coast path into Kalkan, It's very cheap and easy to get a taxi back in the evening so we never made the return journey on foot. There is a beach club about a two minute walk from the villa with a great little bar/cafe area, lots of sun beds and great staff. There are quite a lot of steps down to the villa from the road and down to the beach club/coast path but it's a small price to pay for the location of the villa and the stunning views. You could never get bored of that view, all of the bedrooms face out straight across the bay so it's the first thing you see when you wake up in the morning. The villa is really well appointed with everything you need and the instructions/contact details left for guests make life really easy, from taxi's, grocery delivery and kebabs from hunkar you can get it all direct to the villa with a WhatsApp message! We have been to a few villas around Europe with our friends and this is the first time everybody wants to go back to the same one. If you are looking for a villa in Kalkan that is in easy reach of the harbour and the sea with incredible views then Mercan certainly ticks all the boxes. Amazing!
