My wife and I wanted somewhere in Devon/Cornwall for a week's holiday to celebrate a significant birthday with our 2 children, their spouses and our 4 grandchildren. The Roost turned out to be just perfect. Owl Barn and Tree Barn comfortably housed the 10 of us in 5 ensuite bedrooms but having two cottages meant each family had its own space. We had a good week in Heather Barn with our son and family in Treeaathet Barn which worked well, eating together in Heather Barn in the evening as not possible to get a wheelchair to Tree Barn. A wonderful part of Cornwall to stay in and so much to do locally.

We stayed at The Coach House from 1st to 8th Sept 2018 and I can highly recommend staying in this cosy little hideaway. On arrival, we were welcomed by Beth who had kindly provided the essentials such as tea, coffee, milk, bread and some other local produce which was very welcome after our six hour journey ...more

The outside space for sitting at the front door was quite small (and cramped if you wanted to use the table) but quite private (the path to adjacent cottage passes by the seating area, but no other people a...more
