We stayed in the Roost at Kernock Cottages for my mum’s 70th birthday. The facilities were excellent - giving everyone the space they needed to spend quality time together or apart. The bedrooms were large and comfortable, and having an en suite each made a real difference. The secluded location meant that our private gardens had stunning views over the valley, and we felt safe letting the dog and my toddler run around. This is a first for us as we cannot fault this cottage on the magnificent Kernock Estate. The cottage and grounds delivered on all aspects and then some. We will be back!
Our second time at this beautiful peaceful location. We stopped in the Coachhouse this time, perfect property for 2 people , lovely secure and private garden for our 2 dogs, and a hot tub. A very generous welcome pack is included including a gift for the dogs ! The property was immaculately presented and well equipped. The hosts go out of their way to make sure you have a great stay and provide lots of useful info and recommendations on places to visit. Without doubt the most comfortable and superbly dog friendly holiday accommodation I’ve stayed in. Damian and Louise made sure we had everything we needed, spoiled us with delicious local produce in the breakfast pack and the dogs with a lovely selection of gifts. Location was excellent and the facilities both in the property, and those provided outdoors especially for the dogs were excellent. We’ve booked our next stay already and can’t wait!
This was our third stay at kernock and over all we found it amazing and found Damian customers service second to done. Welcome packages for humans and dogs our such agreat touch and appreciate especially the prosecco , beds and bedding super comfy bathroom products a lovely touch and kitchen equipment fabulous everything you would need ! So down to the most important part for us dog facilities! As a group of friends we really enjoyed our weekend stay in Owl Barn. The facilities within the cottage were fantastic, the hot tub was fabulous and the setting couldn’t have been more perfect. Lots to do around the surrounding area if you were staying for longer. We received a lovely welcome and the welcome pack of local produce was a nice touch. I would definitely recommend.
