The wonderful accomodation and outstanding location for Kernock Cottages allowed us to add to memorable family gatherings. Everyone across the various age ranges were comfortable and appreciated all the care and attention from Louise and Damien. The local knowledge ensured we enjoyed the area and the fantastically equipped kitchens meant that catering for our large group was a joy. We are already recommending the experience to many friends and are looking forward to returning ourselves.
This was our fifth visit to Kernock Cottages in three years, and our second to Little Owl. It is such a fabulous cottage. We went with our adult son and dog, Solo, who thinks of Central Bark as his happy place! The location is perfect, with a great pub just up the road and access to loads of walks and attractions nearby. The site itself is peaceful and quiet with amazing views. We just loved sitting in the hot tub and watching the sun set while taking in glorious views. I can't recommend it enough. I fact, we're coming back again in May!
This is our third time at Kernock Cottages, and our second time at Tree Barn, and once again, we were not disappointed. The icing on the cake is always the big open fields for our two fur babies. Despite being very energetic breeds, they can be worn out using the ball throwers and balls that are thoughtfully supplied for use of the guests. Tree Barn is also the closest property to the dog area, so we were regularly up early in the field in our PJ's! This was our 3rd visit to Kernock cottages and won't be our last.The cottages are of a high standard , high quality appliances and everything you need for your stay. The welcome pack is very generous, sourcing local produce and the Temple spa toiletries are lovely.Our dogs get their own welcome pack of toys, poo bags, treats and towels.As soon as they arrive they make themselves at home! This was our second time at Kernow Cottages and once again the accommodation was excellent with everything we needed provided. Damian and Louse were on hand to resolve a minor issue with a smoke alarm within the hour and happy to impart their local knowledge of good dog friendly beaches and walks and food outlets. Already thinking we'll return again next next year.
Lovely and peaceful, owners very friendly and approachable-keep in touch with ideas etc. Ideal for a large family
