The wonderful accomodation and outstanding location for Kernock Cottages allowed us to add to memorable family gatherings. Everyone across the various age ranges were comfortable and appreciated all the care and attention from Louise and Damien. The local knowledge ensured we enjoyed the area and the fantastically equipped kitchens meant that catering for our large group was a joy. We are already recommending the experience to many friends and are looking forward to returning ourselves.
We had such a lovely stay in the Tree Barn cottage, it was super clean and beautifully presented, super comfy beds, clean bathrooms, spotless hot tub all in a breathtaking location! Highly recommended!

We had the best time at Owl Cottage, the hosts were so helpful with lots of brilliant tips and ideas for the whole family to enjoy; we trekked across the moors, went to the beach, saw the falls and every food place recommended was a hit! The cottage itself was gorgeous, with stunning views down the valley providing a perfect setting for a sunset hot tub. The cosy living area made a great space for an evening movie during the storms and lots of games were played on the large dining table. This was our second visit to the superb Heather Barn at Kernock Cottages and it was excellent again. When we arrived it felt like we had come home and we were able to relax and enjoy the cottage straightaway. The welcome pack for both ourselves and our dog were well thought out. Damian and Louise were, as before, fantastic hosts, warm and welcoming and always on hand if needed. We will definitely be returning to our home from home.
