The wonderful accomodation and outstanding location for Kernock Cottages allowed us to add to memorable family gatherings. Everyone across the various age ranges were comfortable and appreciated all the care and attention from Louise and Damien. The local knowledge ensured we enjoyed the area and the fantastically equipped kitchens meant that catering for our large group was a joy. We are already recommending the experience to many friends and are looking forward to returning ourselves.
We’ve never stayed anywhere quite like Kernock. It’s perfection tucked away down a beautiful driveway. Cottage was really well equipped with everything you might possibly need and more. Highlights - hot tub with amazing views, most comfortable bed I’ve possibly ever slept in, great quality gas barbecue that we cooked most meals on, extremely clean (and I am a clean freak), very dog friendly and not forgetting very welcoming and super helpful hosts. Excellent for dogs. Accommodation well-appointed. The cottage and site were good. The location is not conducive to wandering out for a walk or to find a small shop - car always required.
We had a wonderful stay at The Coach House and felt relaxed from the moment we arrived. The setting is idyllic—peaceful, surrounded by nature, and perfect for a quiet getaway from the hustle and bustle. The cottage itself is very well equipped, extremely clean, combining luxury with a warm homely feel. The welcome pack was fantastic and also included treats and a toy for Maggie (our dog, with her new duck becoming a firm favourite!). This was our second visit to Heather Barn . Our first was two years ago. As before, we received a warm welcome from Damian and Louise. There were four in our party plus two dogs. One of our party was a wheelchair user. Heather Barn is fully accessible, providing level access, open plan accommodation and a wet room plus shower chair.. Our hosts provide lovely touches such as a welcome pack with all the ingredients for a cooked breakfast, juice and a bottle of wine. Damian and Louise are the perfect hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Owl barn is excellent, everything you would ever think you needed. You don’t have to think about the littel things which makes going away with kids and dogs one less stress. The dogs love it there, space to roam and lovely walks. It’s a hidden part of Cornwall that is beautiful. I would thoroughly recommend Kernock cottages, there are very few rentals that provide such excellent facilties and allow 3 dogs.
