Two-bedroom cottage sleeping up to 4 people plus cot. The open plan living / kitchen area along with the main bathroom are situated on the ground floor. Two bedrooms on upper floor, one with double bed and one with twin beds. Also, a cloakroom is situated on the upper floor.

Another really relaxing stay at Valley View Cottages. This time in the woodpecker barn, fab location and Neil and Kate always make sure we are welcome. Cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and warm and peaceful

Quiet and peaceful location with country views, wildlife around and a natural wild garden to explore. The chickens are very friendly. Walks directly from the property, a secure dog garden plus games room. Very well equipped cottage, comfortable beds and everything you might need.

What a wonderful short break. The barn was lovely and Neil and Kate are great hosts! Very peaceful and shall definitely return in the future.

Neil and Kate brill hosts couldn't fault anything about our stay the only critics we had was lane towards cottage quite a trek and no bus route in village was still a great holiday

Our second stay at Woodpecker. Love Valley View. Set in a wonderful rural location, with no light pollution, the stars will shine bright at night. Perfect base for exploring Ceridigion, Pembrokeshire and Carmarthenshire. Cottage is well equipped and comfortable and great if you have dogs or small children with an enclosed garden. Pub in walking distance, approx took us 25mins. As there are 4 cottages, this would be a great setting if there was a couple of families holidaying together. We definately will return again.

Always love staying at Valley View, 5th or 6th time of visiting. Is very peaceful & comfortable with everything you need during your stay. 20/30 min drive to numerous gorgeous beaches that both we & our dogs love with pubs/local shops not too far away.

We can't recommend Valley View Cottage highly enough. We stay in Wood pecker barn every december when visiting family and it is always a stay we look forward too. Kate and Neil go the extra mile and put up a Christmas tree and decorations for us which really makes it special. The cottage is beautifully decorated, always clean and cosy with milk in the fridge and cake in the cupboard. High recommend.

Lynda and I and our 3 beautiful King Charles dogs, have stayed at woodpecker barn many many times, the accommodation is first class, it’s a haven of peace, with beautiful views, simply the best…Kate and Neil who run the business are very friendly & will do anything to make your stay a memorable one. It’s ideal for Cardigan & Poppit sands, and so many things to do, yes, our next booking will be in 2024, we wouldn’t go anywhere else. Thanks Neil and Kate., we had a lovely time. We have been staying at Valley View for many years now because it is an idylic location and the most dog friendly place we have found. Kate and Neil are happy to accommodate our motley gang of mutts and they are more like friends than hosts.
The cottages are clean and cosy and the gardens are securely fenced.
Valley View is in a great location for beaches at Poppit and Newport and the town of Cardigan is only 15 minutes drive away.
We love Valley View and have already booked for 2024.

We have had a fantastic holiday staying at Valley View. Kate and Neil are brilliant hosts who are always happy to help. The garden of the cottage is a good size and completely secure for our dog. The setting is lovely and the grounds (through which guests are welcome to wander) are great, particularly if you are keen on wildlife. Many of the grass areas are left to grow (to encourage pollinators and other wildlife) but paths are mown through these areas so you can walk through and enjoy seeing it all. The cottage had everything we could need and was very comfortable and clean. The great setting, secure dog exercise area and the access to the games room meant that we were also able to just enjoy spending the day at Valley View. The location is good because you are able to access so many different places easily. There are several fantastic beaches within half an hour drive as well as attractions such as Castell Henllys and many lovely walking spots, both inland and the coastal path. Cardigan is only 20 minutes drive away too. We can't wait to return soon. Thank you to Kate and Neil.

We had another beautiful stay at Woodpecker Barn in the gorgeous Valley View cottages. Neil and Kate are always so welcoming and we have had some very happy holidays here, especially when we book multiple cottages to have a big family holiday. The house is perfectly set up for coming back from a day at the beach and is a brilliant way to have a big family holiday.

As a family of 7 (2 adults, 3 children and 2 dogs) we find it difficult to stay somewhere amazing that provides for us all. Well, this is no more. Valley View was wonderful. Neil and Kate are so welcoming and the accommodation is superb. The view and walks speak for themselves. Adults were happy, children were happy and the dogs we very very tired from all the walks.
