We enjoyed our stay at Spixworth in Pond cottage. The cottage was clean ans tidy although the bedrooms and living room could do with a refresh as they look a little tired, and as there were 5 of us, some more plates/bowls would be great so the dishwasher wouldn't need running daily. The facilities are excellent, we loved the pool, especially the kids! The kids also loved the play barn. We would have liked to use the games barn more, however other guests had block booked even though that is against the policy. The owners were lovely, and very friendly. The setting is marvellous, the facilities first rate, conversion of old buildings retaining their character, and high standards of comfort in the accommodation. I just wish we could have stayed longer.
An amazing place with excellent facilities (games rooms x2, play area etc), loads of space inside and out and some lovely old buildings. We'll be back!

This is the second time we have stayed at swallows and we will be back again. We absolutely love staying here. The cottage is perfectly located for lots of local attractions. The facilities are fantastic, the children love the outdoor space, the play area and the play barn. The cottage itself is well equipped and always clean and tidy. We will be back again next year!
Our family had a wonderful short stay at The Lodge. The cottage is a real Tardis and is very well equipped with everything you need. The owner Sheela was lovely and really helpful and we had a really nice time exploring the grounds. The pool is hidden away but well worth seeking out (you can park right next to it). Will definitely be back.
