The home was very comfortable and easy access to Westport and surrounding areas of interest. Close to downtown Westport Pubs and Restaurants. Great views, Recommended !!
We had an amazing and comfortable time and Caroline the customer service lady was so helpful and 100% amazing. Recommend!!
We had a wonderful week in Jane's immaculate and beautiful cottage in Mannin, Connemara. The cottage was spacious and decorated to a very high standard. The kitchen had everything we needed and all the equipment was in perfect condition (we loved the Nick Moss pottery!) The bedrooms are well appointed and very comfortable indeed! Thank you to Jane for a very warm welcome and we would highly recommend this stunning cottage to friends and family in our favourite part of the world!
We stayed in No 3 Clew Bay cottage . Lovely , modern comfortable house , absolutely spotless and everything you would want in it and more. Perfect location . Stunning sea view and scenery within walking distance of the beautiful village of Mulranny , Doherty`s supermarket and good food restaurant . Also close by is Nevin`s restaurant in Tiernaur . We were made very welcome by Anne .I would certainly recommend this wonderful house as a holiday venue .
Beautiful property . Very lovely rooms. Centrally located on bridge street . Beside so many fab restaurants pubs shops . Welcome pack was a lovely touch .butter bread and milk. Tea coffee nespresso pods all a plus.
Very comfortable house, well equipped and well situated for walking. Nearby lakes for fishing and beach 200m away.
Absolutely enjoyed every minute of our stay in this most perfect and beautiful house, It’s spacious with views overlooking Omey , a short work to the local . A 5 stay holiday and most definitely 5 star accommodation..Our hosts Pattie and David ,lovely too.. Loved it ! Highly recommend..
We had such a gorgeous week staying at Honeysuckle Cottage. The cottage was very comfortable for us and was equipped with everything we needed. The best part was the location, within a 5 min walk to a lovely little pier, very safe for swimming and an outdoor sauna, such a lovely treat! Also in walking distance of shops and two pubs for food and drinks. Noreen was such a helpful host. Highly recommend staying here ☺️
This place is a steal. Hosts are wonderful and accommodating (they live right around back). They were very gracious, and the cottage is large, views are incredible, and the place is very clean. It’s in an excellent location to explore northern Connemara, and it’s walkable to some incredible beaches. Try Paddy Coyne’s gastropub in nearby village of Tully Cross—some of the best food we had in Connemara.
We enjoyed very much the stay in this cosy house. Everything is arranged very well. We will come back!
What a superb place for a large family gathering! Very comfortable and well equipped; loads of communal space; and very good sized en suite rooms to allow private time as well. Great views and access to superb beaches (superb even in February!) and great seafood. Very close to a good shop, pub and playground. Bernie is a very helpful and accessible owner.
Amazing location stunning house we all loved the garden area to sit out enjoying nature at its best.
Ist a very good place to stay. The House is very large with a lot of rooms and bath. We enjoy the beautiful contryside.
Perfect equipped for a family holiday in a beautiful location. The host couldn't have been more accommodating about arrival and check out.
Beautiful home, beautiful scenery with sea views, exceptionally clean and the most comfortably beds I have ever slept in. Superb home, will definitely be staying again and recommend to all.
The cottage was perfect for our stay — Mum, Son, Grandson. The house was completely furnished with thoughtful amenities like lap blankets along with local honey, fresh eggs and friendly chickens. Our host was helpful giving us complete explanations of all parts of the house. Suggestions: a bigger bathroom/shower mat, a working electric blanket in the smaller bedroom. Otherwise, everything was delightful.
We (a couple) stayed a week in Oyster House during August and were very comfortable. My first impression when we entered was of a light, spacious accommodation that was well insulated and cosy. The views at the front are lovely. We had all we needed at the cottage to self cater very happily. The property would however benefit from a few easy to do additions such as a coat rack near the door for hanging wet items and perhaps a shoe rack, and a more substantial door mat. On first arrival I also had to clean dirt off nearly all light switches as they were greasy and smeared and missed by the oth...more
Good holidays in Renvyle. Nice house calm and confortable. Walks possible along the sea from the house
We like that quietness on the location and its homeliness. The facilities are great on everything works.
We had a wonderful time at Teach Ban. The house is so spacious, well and uniquely equipped that we didn‘t miss anything at all. The kitchen had more items than we could have asked for. The beds were grand and cosy. It is situated in the middle between Westport and Louisburgh. - Perfect for trips around Clew Bay like Achill Island, Clare Island or Belmullet. Staunton’s Pub right next to it is an adorable place for a lovely drink and chat in the evening. So we spent a most joyful and comfortable time in this house. When we had a question Austin and his lovely wife came for help at once. Thank ...more
We found everything we needed for our stay in the flat, and the host was very friendly, helpful and availble when needed. We could find it very well, and there is a lot what you can do. E.g., Gassilaun beach is less than 2km away. The welcome present with scones and tea was marvellous! The kitchen contained even a dishwasher that was very handy for us. Nevertheless, there are always some drawbacks. The WiFi signal in our flat was quite weak. We recommend to ask also for the code for the WiFi for the flat upstairs, as this router was better available. Furthermore, the beds measure around 1,9...more
I would highly recommend The stone cottage to stay in westport renovated to a high standard in a traditional style very clean throughout Everything mod con you need is there coffee machine toaster etc plenty of space to chill Excellent location 5 to 10 min walk to center Of town ! Iam booking it again for next year
Très bel emplacement, la vue est magnifique et le logement est très confortable. Beaucoup de visites et de balades à faire dans un rayon proche. Par temps humide, il n'est pas facile de faire sécher le linge.
Great location for accessing Connemara for our family of 6. So many lovely picturesque sandy beaches within half hr driving radius without major crowds. Lots of hillwalking/trekking options. Inish Boffin worth a daytrip. Our crew voted Keoghs in Ballyconneely and Veldons in Letterfrack as the best places for eating out. House lovely - comfy, quaint, well done up, all amenities, good wifi, well maintained grounds. Spotless on arrival. Would have no hesitation in booking again.
Excellent location and a great novelty for a family to stay in a "Night Club" over night. We will be back!
Beatrice was very responsive to any questions I had. The house was very suitable for our needs. Very close to Roonagh pier and beaches
First of all a thank you to Edel and Steven who couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful. As for the cottage, we loved it! Well maintained and equipped, clean, comfortable, in a lovely quiet just off main road setting. A very short stroll to the main road where left takes you to the village centre, and straight on takes you down to the pier where there's a lovely sheltered beach and swimming area. From there there's a lovely wheelchair accessible coastal walk that ends beside the main beach, opposite the craft centre. The house is very well equipped with plenty of towels, cleaning ...more
This was our place to land for an entire month and it had all of the amenities we required. Whatever problems arose were quickly and conveniently dealt with by the owner and we were able to enjoy a comfortable vacation. It was especially nice to find that there was an elevator available if needed to get to the second floor and the apartment itself was all on one level. We had a fantastic trip because we had a great place to come home to.
Nice and comfortable house. Very quiet location. To recommand for a family of 6............................................................................................
Thoroughly enjoyed the week. Cottage and accommodation were excellent, the weather was absolutely awful! We came with no expectations of sunbathing or swimming! Loved Ireland and will definitely come back, especially if we are offered a good deal.
we had a lovely stay in Renvyle Cottage. It was very comfortable, warm and welcoming. The location suited us well as we were exploring by car everyday, and then happy to return to the cottage emin the evenings
Very nice cottage, everything we needed was provided. And the location is ideal !! Thank you very much for your kindness.
A beautiful setting although the weather is inevitably variable but didn’t stop us getting to the beach each day for digging and some swimming. The bedrooms work well for families with children and some for adult couples. The kitchen is small but well equipped with 2 dishwashers and the utility has washing machine and tumbler dryer - vital. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. Very relaxed
Our stay at Renvyle 196 Tooreena, was perfect. The location was exactly what we wanted. Quiet,a magical view and walking distance to the beach. The weather was perfect! John, the owner, was helpful in showing us how everything worked. The beach, the sunsets and the countless rainbows marked our stay as magical. Booking was seamless. Our whole experience was a great one to help make our dream come true. A month in Ireland-we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting as our base location.
Great location for visiting the islands, local beaches & Croagh Patrick. Warm welcome with home baking.
Very nice Place to Tour around connemara and expierience the Country and pepople. The Convent is placed perfectly in the middle. We loved the big convent for our common breakfasts and playing rounds. The Kitchen is well equiped But We loved to Walk in to the Hamiltons Pub and enjoy the seafood.
Fantastic stay in an amazingly beautiful location. Great peaceful and beautiful place for a total chill out
yes , tigh KATE works well for me , close to my sons renovation / build. . Note ;; my guests found the mattresses in back bedroom very uncomfortable . Carmel Keens
The inside needs a lot of renovations there is mould growing on the walls in the downstairs main bedroom and also on the tiles the grout is a full of mould black mould. The shower in the ensuite bathroom is held together by duct tape and the shower in the main bathroom downstairs didn’t work. Lots of the radiators have been corroded and have metal flakes coming off them. Everything just needs updating.
We had a fantastic week celebrating Sam's 60th. The house was really comfortable and spacious and easily accomodated 7 adults. The location was perfect with wonderful views of the sea and an easy walk to the village with its shop and bars. We enjoyed evenings of wonderful food and drinks, live music and fielded two teams on quiz night at Olivers Bar!
We spent 5 nights in this charming, cosy cottage. The ‘cooks’ kitchen was especially well-equipped with all the pots, pans and gizmos. Oh joy to find not one, but several knives capable of cutting a vegetable in a holiday let! Freshly painted in gorgeous colours and tastefully furnished (scandi vintage?). I would have happily moved in and stayed for longer but it really felt like someone’s own home, rather than a holiday let - so I couldn’t. Piles of games, puzzles and books for kids and adults. Lovely bedrooms, top knotch bed linen and towels. For us, a mattress topper would have made all th...more
I think the title says it all really! Couldn't have asked for more from the hosts or the property. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. Angela was very helpful and kind before and during our stay. 10 out of 10
We had a very pleasant stay. Nice walks in Derryclare Nature Reserve and in the neighbourhood of Ballinahinsh Castle
Lovely house in a quiet beautiful location ..............................................................................................................................................................................................................
We absolutely loved our stay in Chaoimhe Cottage. Unbelievable location. Great quick helpfulbresponse from Ann to our queries. Definitely the cleanest house we've ever rented!! I would just love a bigger front window to view the water while I knit!!!!!!! But joking aside it was fantastic. Easy drives from all the points of in in Connemara Hope to be back
We really enjoyed our stay. It was great having Barbara Faherty and her husband close by. As dog lovers, we were delighted to have had a visit from their beautiful dogs...
I spent nearly a week staying in the cottage and it was just wonderful. This is my second time there so I knew exactly what I was heading back to. The lady who runs the cottage is very kind and if you have a problem will try to help you in any way she can. I rented the cottage on my own this time and I felt safe and secure at all times. It is so peaceful there, the beach is a stones throw away and the location couldn’t be any better. It’s a great location for touring around and just a few kilometres from Roundstone village. Highly recommend
We really enjoyed our stay in this authentic irish cottage! There are a lot of things to do in the surrounding.
As timeshare owners we appreciate the upgrade work that has taken place both within the property and to the approach avenue/roadway - no more pot holes is a great plus.. The cushions and dining chair fabric seats urgently need to be re-upholstered as they are frayed and shabby and let the dining area down, so hopefully this is on the list for the coming winter maintenance. We always bring rinse aid with us for the dishwasher and this is always, in our experience, in need of replenishing the machine also indicated that it needed salt so I hope someone keeps this under review. General cleanlines...more
Comfortable house convenient to hotel and short walk to the beach. Beautiful location with view of the lake.
great location, nice amenities. could use some improvements - mirror in second room for instance. also a microwave.
A very spacious house, a few things need upgrading but would recommend it for a holiday in Achill. Location is a little remote but the stunning views make up for this.
Par contre vue mer assez éloignée et ca...more
Great location by the beach, and only 10 minutes drive into Clifden - a good base for exploring Connemara. Kitchen was well equipped, and beds were comfy. A good destination to switch off and enjoy the local area for a week, so many great places to visit nearby
I was cold at night due to a summer duvet being on the bed and no extra blankets available. Also mattress was bad quality so ended up with a bad crick in my neck and back. Because of this I would most likely not recommend it to others.
We enjoyed our week in Kilsallagh. Nice well equipped house, living area was brilliant and worked very well. The house was clean and tidy on arrival. Shame the trees and hedges have grown so much the sea view is now hidden! Kilsallagh is a good base for exploring locally, we had some lovely walks and the beaches were brilliant - swimming off Old Head was fantastic. Body boarding at Carrowinsky beach was fun too. Shopping in Louisburgh was good and we were sorry not to be able to get at table at Tia by the River. Overall a great time and we hope to be back in the future.
Although the house was comfortable enough, the shower barely dribbled and there wasn’t enough hot water for 2 baths so I’ve no idea how 6 would manage. The view of the sea is completely blocked by trees and so you just see a field. Very poor value I thought for an expensive house rental.
