Great accommodation in wonderful setting. So much to see and enjoy in neighbouring villages and along the coast. The kitchen was well equipped. We could have done with blackout blinds or curtains in the 'walk through' bedroom with the sofa bed. We really enjoyed the garden, the grounds, and the hot tubs.
We all had a wonderful week celebrating Grandads 80th Birthday at Gresham Hall . Such a Beautiful home , everything we needed in the hall for our family of 10 with lovely views , and walks . Lovely large rooms and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. We all enjoyed the using the hot tub and tennis courts . Many good memories made playing board games and movie nights in front of fire .
We had long wanted to have a family long weekend in North Norfolk. Great Hall Estate proved an excellent base. The apartment is pristine and so well equipped. Edward had sent us recommendations for local restaurants too, so we had lovely supper of local lobster at The Kings Head in Letheringsett and at The Dun Cow at Salthouse. We visited Brancaster Beach which is a bit of a drive but wonderful. It has been easy to charge our hybrid car too overnight at the stables. We all definitely recommend this lovely location which is so welcoming.
We stayed for 4 nights in mid October and enjoyed a very relaxing break at Gresham Hall. We stayed in the Ground Wing apartment which was spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We chose to rent the hot tub and spent a couple of bubbly evenings looking up at starry skies and listening to creatures of the night in the surrounding estate. We chose Gresham Hall because it was central to all the places we wanted to visit in North Norfolk both at the coast and inland. Although on this occasion there were just two of us Gresham Hall would be a fantastic place for us to return to with the whole fami...more
We loved the location of the Cottage, with woods and countryside all round. It was so peaceful and quiet! Just the restful sounds of pheasant, grouse, owls and other birds. The accommodation was very comfortable throughout and the kitchen extremely well equipped. There was a very nice 'welcome pack' to provide us with breakfast on our first morning and the fresh flowers were a beautiful touch. We spent a lovely week exploring local sights and sampling some very good seafood and icecreams! Thank you so much for making our holiday such a delight. We shall recommend the Cottage to our friends.
