We loved the location of the Cottage, with woods and countryside all round. It was so peaceful and quiet! Just the restful sounds of pheasant, grouse, owls and other birds. The accommodation was very comfortable throughout and the kitchen extremely well equipped. There was a very nice 'welcome pack' to provide us with breakfast on our first morning and the fresh flowers were a beautiful touch. We spent a lovely week exploring local sights and sampling some very good seafood and icecreams! Thank you so much for making our holiday such a delight. We shall recommend the Cottage to our friends.

We had a wonderful stay at Hall Cottage and would highly recommend it, especially for families with young children. The decor is beautiful throughout – stylish, welcoming, and thoughtfully designed, making it feel like a real home away from home.
The property is exceptionally family-friendly, with plenty of space for little ones to play and everything needed for a comfortable stay with young children. It struck the perfect balance between being practical for families and feeling luxurious and relaxing for adults.
A particular bonus was the EV charging facility, which made travelling by electric vehicle completely stress-free and very convenient.
Overall, a fantastic place to stay – comfortable, well-equipped, beautifully presented, and ideal for creating family memories. We would happily return.

Overall, we really enjoyed our time at Hall Cottage. Edward, the owner who lives nearby on the estate, was extremely helpful in every way and arrived very quickly when we had to call him to adjust the heating/hot water settings.
A very nice and thoughtful touch was the easter egg left as a gift with the other kitchen staples on arrival.
The grounds and location are fantastic, a huge breath of fresh air and uplift for a family of city dwellers. The house is well equipped with good wifi (essential for us!) and TV with Netflix. Lots of books around for anyone who wanted them.
The kitchen had everything we needed too.
We were uber-lucky with the weather, but if it had been more English April typical, i.e. ie wet, windy and cold, it would have been good to be able to access a store of extra duvets etc,
All in all, highly recommended and a bouquet of thanks to the hosts.

Hall Cottage is an outstanding property with a huge kitchen/dining room which allows for family cooking and activities. The cupboards are well stocked with crockery and equipment. Woodland walks on the doorstep. Plenty of parking space.

We had a fantastic family holiday at Gresham Hall Cottage.
Prompt response from owner regarding our extra requests.
Plenty of space for 6 adults and 4 children under 5. High chair, travel cot and bed guards all provided.
Lovely large enclosed garden with good sized BBQ.
Kitchen well stocked with every utensil you can think off.
We did eat out a couple of times at a local pub good food and garden for the kids,
Local beaches all great. Our favourite was west Runton.

We were a family of 11 staying for a week and the cottage met all our expectations and more. It had plenty of room for all of us and plenty of equipment for us to self cater.
It is in a lovely quiet location, but with a garden bit enough to have fun in and a table where we could all eat together.
It is close to Holt and Cromer and a wonderful beach (a little bit of a drive) at Wells-next the Sea (but go early!).
