This studio has been updated since my last few visits. I was a fan on the cabin bed and the large tv. I will admit the sofa is better and the layout better for access. The shower is amazing outdoor space magic fir st Ives. You won’t be disappointed!
This flat was in wonderful location with amazing views from both the lounge and main bedding. It was very comfortable, warm and cosy with just enough room for 3 adults and one happy dog. Such a great base for everything beach’s, shops, restaurants and lovely coastal walks. Would be happy to return anytime of the year. Perfect for seeing New Year fireworks without needing to be outside.
House layout is first rate. Relaxing in the evening with food and drinks so spacious.Plus the outside decking and views are excellent.
We booked West Coast House through Cherished Cottages and from the start to the end it was the perfect break. The team couldn't have been more helpful with booking and during our stay, and the house was the perfect holiday home. A stone's throw from the beach and minutes from the town centre, it was the perfect location for our family holiday. And the view of the sunset from the bedroom windows was stunning! Would highly recommend both West Coast House and Cherished Cottages!
8 Hicks Court is a great cottage close to the sea and the town, the furnishings are lovely, chosen with care and pretty stylish! Cherished Cottages (Christine) has always been so helpful with the booking process; I highly recommend both the company and the cottage.
Back for a 3rd stay and loved it just as much, Couldn’t ask for a better location 2 minute walk to shops and restaurants 5 minutes from the beach. This house has a great feel about it can’t wait to come back next year. Love the treats and flowers on arrival nice touch, Thanks for the stay to all the staff.
I think the time for leaving and arriving need to be looked at because you loose a day of your holiday. When COVID was with us the early and late times were needed because of longer times for cleaning this is not the cases now. After saying all this I know you always get us in as early as you can I am just thinking of other people
Our second stay at Driftshore cottage and won’t be our last as we have booked for 2026. The location is excellent, just 2 minutes from two beaches and the town centre for restaurants/shops but just off the main routes so there is less noise than some places we have stayed. In the living room, it is easy to relax after a busy day and the kitchen has all you need, if the walk to Fore street is too hard (wet) and you want to stay indoors.
This is a truly amazing house to stay in for your holiday, the location and views are second to none The bedrooms are spacious with luxurious bedding, en suites and bathrooms are of an exceptionally high standard The first floor kitchen, dining room and lounge area make the most of the stunning views, as do the decking areas Plenty of outside space to store paddle boards, surf boards, belly boards and wet suits together with an outside shower too We enjoyed every minute of our stay and didn't want to leave
We stayed at The Beach Snug for Christmas 2025 myself and my husband. It was perfect for the 2 of us, comfortable bed, The kitchen was well equipped and the bathroom was clean. The view was lovely looking out onto Porthmeor Beach with a little balcony with 2 pulldown seats. We don’t have mobility issues but for info there are stone steps down to the front door which is at the rear. Would definitely stay there again.
This is our favourite spot in St Ives - genuinely. Seaside House is a superbly appointed property in a prime location making it easy to potter into town and back for a beer, a mooch around the galleries, or to wrap up for a bracing walk along the Coastal Path.
This was our second (consecutive) NY stay at Hardy’s Cottage and once again it more than delivered. The quality, cleanliness is exceptional. Cherished Cottage really know how to maintain the festive spirit with the tastefully decorated lounge. Everything you need in this cottage… the location is awesome. Great for an early walk on the beach and equally cheeky pre-dinner glass of wine nearby. Needed no encouragement to make enquiry for next year… unfortunately beaten to it. We had a lovely weeks holiday at Crab Rock-on arrival the property was cleaned to a high standard, a very modern apartment and the welcome bag of goodies was a lovely touch-the views of the harbour were just stunning, even on the rainy days it was lovely to sit and relax and watch the world go by. Loved the bi-fold doors on a sunny day and to sit on the balcony was just lovely. The bed was very comfy and had the best nights sleep. The apartment had everything we needed for our stay. We have stayed in about 40 holiday homes over the years. All have been 5 star rated but none have compared to Harbour Lights. Spread over 3 floors it offers everything you would need from a perfect holiday home - cleanliness, comfort, privacy, peace, space and then you have a view that will stay in your mind forever. From the balcony you look down on to St Ives bay and harbour. Sitting out there with a cold drink, watching the boats and yachts coming and going is paradise. For the last few years, our family of 8 people and 1 pet have stayed at Rock House for the Christmas holidays. The week before Christmas is very quiet and a good time to explore the town before the pace picks up for the New Year. The house is comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped and there is a large garage and parking space at the rear of the property. Rock House is situated in a slightly elevated position via a 5 minute walk to / from the harbour. Had a wonderful stay at Sailfish Cottage. The Cottage provided comfortable and good facilities and location was perfect for accessing all local amenities in the heart of St Ives. The private Car Park space was an added bonus to our stay. Would definitely recommend.
Another quality property from Cherished. Superb location with stunning views from lounge and master bedroom which never failed to make me smile. Lovely balcony overlooking beach and another overlooking the town. No parking but can use Barnaloft for dropping off luggage. We arranged private parking which saves any uncertainty of finding a space. Ideally situated for restaurants, shops and walks. Only negative is poor lighting for reading but I would not hesitate in returning.

If this house hadn't have had the view, I think it would still have been one of the most outstanding properties we have ever stayed in in St Ives (and we have stayed in A LOT). It was stylish, comfortable, well equipped, there was no short-straw bedroom, and the location was incredible - dead centre, with Fore Street about 100 paces away. But the view... or should I say views... whoa! Even those in the two bedrooms at the side of the house wake up to sea vistas towards Porthminster Beach, while the three at the front square on to the (literally) dazzling harbour and chapel-topped Island. Another great holiday at the oldbakehouse. Great location. Decent size fridge freezer. Comfy sofas and bed. Step outside the front door and you’re 2 mins away from everything. Cherished cottage team can’t do enough to make your stay perfect
An absolute perfect studio cottage for a couple, literally 5 mins walk to all beaches and town shops The studio is fitted with top quality equipment and fittings and is very warm and comfortable If you are lucky enough to get in the island car park , it is about 100 metres away We love st ives and will definitely book driftshore studio again
Westholme is a wonderful house in a great location. Just a couple of minutes walk down the hill to Porthmeor Beach. The house had everything we needed and is beautifully decorated. The living room upstairs was my favourite, with fabulous views of the sea. We loved this house so much that we have already booked for next year
Beautifully presented flat overllooking Porthmeor beach. Fabulous view. Well appointed modern flat in a complex. Lots of facilities and parking albeit very tight. The furiture was in good condition Comfortable beds, the sofa looked good but for an oldie like me too low and the arms too high. Coffee table set at ankle hight we both fell over it. Good kitchen, unfortunately you could use hot plates or oven but not both at once. The RDS Tripped when you did. Fusebox cupboard packed with Christmas decoration the tree made access impossible. We spent Christmas week at Lobster’s Residence and had an amazing time. The attention to detail within the property is excellent. Having the Christmas tree and a few decorations made it all the more special too. Property was exceptionally clean. Close to the beaches and amenities. We couldn’t have asked for more. This was our fourth time staying at this property so, obviously, we love it here. It is extremely comfortable, convenient for everything that St Ives has to offer and the view from the property onto Porthmeor beach is stunning. We will, of course, be back.
A return visit to 4 Island Road, and the cottage was fully up to the usual exceptional standards. We have been visiting St Ives for eleven years now and have used Cherished for most of those visits. They are a friendly, helpful and efficient company that we can recommend without reservation.
