We were so pleasantly surpried and very happy and extremely comfortable staying in Bay house will be back again this year.
The drive down from London Heathrow to St Ives was long but so worth the trip.
Our family loved it too.

Excellent stay again Loved the new terrace and cooking in the well equipped kitchen. Would highly recommend Cornish food box and ordering fish from Matthew Stevens, but we all love cooking and possibly your other clients eat out. We loved the Fish Shack and St Eia for coffee and light lunch. Really missed the Allotment for fresh vegetables and fruit so Cornish box came in handy. Definitely a quieter time of year for the seagulls! Thank you for all your help Christine.

The Bay House is lovely, views from the decking area were great, good to have outside space for a glass of wine and a game of cards. The house had everything you possibly needed and very clean. Would deffo recommend and for us to return.

The Bay House is a lovely house, very well furnished and decorated. The location is excellent, only a short walk to the town, although the return journey is quite steep and uphill which may not suit all ages. Despite being so close to the town, it is very quiet.
The outside space to the front has a lovely view over to the sea and harbour, and had the weather been a bit better, we would have spent more time outside. Only to be expected at the end of September though!. The Cherished Cottages team were very efficient and responded very quickly to any queries. I would recommend both Cherished Cottages and this property.

The Bay House is a beautiful holiday home with wonderful views towards the harbour and beyond. We loved spending time on the peaceful terrace and yet you could walk to the heart of the town or be on Porthmeor beach within five minutes. Quality linen and furnishings, comfortable beds and nice welcome hamper. A little care is needed in the top floor bedroom due to limited headroom. The house doesn’t have parking, so after unloading we parked in the Trenwith carpark and left the car there all week. The back yard with tap, washing line and hooks was very useful for wetsuits and boards. We have stayed in a number of holiday cottages in St Ives over the years and The Bay House is undoubtedly our favourite. Thank you for sharing it!

We fell in love with The Bay House from the moment we saw it on the Cherished Cottages website and the reality lived up to all our expectations. A beautiful property inside and out with absolutely everything we needed. The house is situated just a few minutes walk into town and the beaches but it was a really peaceful location and had stunning views of the harbour.

Bay House is a gorgeous place to stay, with all the comfort of home. The view from the terrace is worth the walk up the hill and the house is uniquely placed to make it 5 minutes to Porthmeor and the Tate or 5 minutes to the harbour.
The lane access also means it's very quiet.

We'll definitely be back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the Bay House. It is in a good location, just a short walk to the shops, restaurants, galleries and beautiful beaches. The house was immaculate, very comfortable and beautifully decorated.

A fantastic stay at The Bay House! Everything you could possibly need and beautifully presented. Location was a climb for the more elderly of our party, but the views are spectacular so worth the extra effort! Super comfy beds and gorgeous bathrooms. Outside area provided us with a perfect setting for sunny breakfasts! Lovely place, thank you.

The Bay House has a very real charm about it .
We have been visiting St Ives for many years and our stay here was our first .As you enter the property it has all the Cherished Cottages DNA ..The property has been well thought out with attractively decorated rooms ,modern bathrooms and a well equipped kitchen .The rear yard is great for storing beach equipment with a handy laundry .The ground floor effortlessly flows from the kitchen to a lovely dining area and lounge with double doors leading to a outside deck .We loved this ..it has been beautifully planted and we ate all our meals here ,and enjoyed a glass of wine or 2 in the evening .
Our children loved the tv's and the more than adequate wifi after a tiring day on the beach .
Must mention the sofas which where so fabulously comfortable .
10/10

We stayed at the Bay House at the end of May 2021. The house is beautifully decorated and very well furnished. It has everything you might need to cook and serve meals and is well placed for the centre of St Ives as well as its beaches. We would recommend it for adults and school age children.

We loved out stay at The Bay House, it was comfortable, clean and quiet with a terrace with fabulous views across St Ives harbour to Godrevy.

Wir lieben The Bay House. Es ist wie ein zweites Zuhause in Cornwall für uns geworden. Wir sind noch sehr fit und es ist ein erfrischender Sport, den steilen Hügel vom Ort zum Haus zu gehen. Auch das Gepäck vom Parkplatz zum Haus zu transportieren und bei Abreise zurück zum Parkplatz, ebenso, wie die Einkäufe, bedarf eines gewissen Kraftaktes, der körperliche Fitness voraussetzt. Auch im Haus ist die Treppe steil und schmal, die Toiletten sind sehr eng. Es ist für bewegungseingeschränkte Personen unkomfortabel. Für alle anderen, die Bewegung und knarzendes Holz nicht scheuen, ist es ein wunderbares Haus, hübsch dekoriert und sehr gut ausgestattet. Wir freuen uns jedes Mal hierhin zurückzukehren und fühlen uns immer herzlich willkommen durch einen hübschen Blumenstrauß und die warme, beleuchtete Atmosphäre, die uns empfängt. Herzlichen Dank dafür!

Fantastic stay at this lovely house only a few minutes walk from Porthmeor beach and central st Ives. The south facing terrace with distant views of the harbour was a wonderful place to breakfast or relax after a morning’s surfing. Although central, the area was quiet and traffic free. Awakening to the sea view from the main bedroom was a joy.
The house was well equipped with quality appliances and crockery... the beds were comfortable and the house was spotlessly clean. The second small sitting area on the first floor meant that two couples could have their own space if wanted.
Lack of a parking space is a drawback. However as we were there in September and we were able to cox and box; we usually managed to get a space at Barnoon or Trenwith car parks if we’d been out for the day. Getting a weekly rover ticket was helpful.

Having completed 7 hours of driving, it was an absolute relief not to mention a breath of fresh air to open the door to a beautifully decorated house. From top to bottom it had everything we needed with magnificent views of St Ives in all its glory. Our family loved it all and will surely be visiting again. Do check out St Michael's Mount and the Eden Project amongst some of the places we visited during our stay. Overall it was a fantastic experience.
