A gem of a find Comfortable, clean, well stocked, a surprise basket of goodies, warm, and a swimming pool
Peaceful and safe environment for a family holiday suitable for all ages. The pool was excellant. Children enjoyed the playground. Rabbits and chickens came into the garden. Also hedgehog in grounds. WiFi variable but board games provided which we made use of. Definately want to return again.

We recently had a lovely last-minute stay at Old Oak Cottages, and it was every bit as good as I had hoped. This destination had been on my list of places to visit for a while, after reading a glowing review, and it definitely did not disappoint! The cottage itself was gorgeous and well-equipped, providing everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Squirrel was extremely well appointed and comfortable, great for kids and the views from the living room were amazing. Would thoroughly recommend a stay here to explore the local area.
Our first visit to Old Oak Cottages, for hubby’s 70th birthday. What a little gem of a find. Easy to book, queries answered promptly, lovely location and facilities. Loved the swimming pool, pity the sauna was out of action though. Will hopefully return again, and will pass details onto family and friends
This was our third visit to Old Oak Cottages with family staying in Fox and Owl. As ever, the accommodation was comfortable and safe. We used the pool every day and the tennis court and play areas provided lots of entertainment for children of all ages. Lots of sightseeing locally and the RHS gardens were very enjoyable together with lovely local pub lunches; this all amounted to the perfect week away. We will definitely be back.
