Great base in the heart of Yorkshire with lots to see & do all very near by. Fantastic to have exclusive access to the swimming pool during a heatwave; kept us cool & calm. Visible but not intrusive/ overbearing hosts that were accessible if you needed/ wanted. Considering a follow up visit in multiple cottages for extended family. Would heartily recommend if peace, quiet & countryside is what you are looking for with a short journey to lots of local amenities & attractions.
We had a very nice stay at Squirrel Cottage. Brilliant views towards The White Horse at Kilburn. Comfortable surroundings, swimming pool, peace and quiet, perfect for recharging our energy. The only downside was that we had to use the car to get anywhere.
This was an amazing place to stay and furnished to a high standard . Welcome pack was I lovely suprise . Having the pool use just for your cottage at a set time was perfect .very quiet location so easy to chill and relax . Will be coming back
We enjoyed our week in Owl Cottage. It was clean and comfortable. The swimming pool was a real treat easy to use and very private. The scenery and walks were picturesque and interesting. We were able to easily charge our electric car a real bonus. I am sure we will return some day. Thank you
On arrival the cottage was spotlessly clean and the welcome pack was perfect. The on site facilities suit all and the outside areas were also very tidy We would certainly not hesitate to returning in the future.
