Brilliant layout, great for 6 people. Enough room to have your own space as well as time together. The facilities were excellent, and the property was very clean and bright. Great cooking facilities and large living area. Great for communal game playing and socialising, but also the bedrooms were large and roomy if you wanted your own space.
Great family holiday, cottage well appointed ,very clean and comfortable. We all enjoyed our time in the the fantastic pool. Visited York, Whitby and The Dales during our stay. Would love to return.
The cottage was an excellent base for our week in North Yorkshire - just an hour to the coast or the Dales, and closer to the likes of York and the many local pubs and restaurants.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at Owl Cottage feeling very relaxed. We have stayed at Old Oak Cottages previously and as with those times, the cottages are fabulous, great facilities - the pool is wonderful and the surrounding area of farmland is absolutely beautiful. The cottage itself is well looked after and has everything you need. The children love the play area including the trampoline, swings and area to play football. We will be returning again next year!
Comfortable cottage in a lovely quiet location.Great facilities for children. Our 2 grandchildren made good use of the play area and loved the pool. Bring a floater if your kids are small or can't swim as it is quite deep. The pool was warm and it was great having the private times each day. The beds are nice and comfy with good quality bedding and plenty of fluffy white towels. Decent WiFi and Smart TV, essential for kids these days! Lots of kitchen essentials provided - dishwasher tablets, kitchen roll, foil etc and a nice welcome hamper including fresh milk and bread. The only slight criti...more
We loved our time at Mouse cottage. The location is lovely. Our family were staying in a larger cottage and it was great to take the grandchildren to see the animals and use the amazing play equipment. The cottage had everything you could need. Having the swimming pool was fantastic
