Our 3 visit to old oak cottages and second stay in Badger, testament to how much our family of 5 love this fabulous spot. A beautifully comfortable and well equipped cottage, fabulous swimming pool and play area for the children all within easy reach of super local walks and days out. We will be back!
An excellent cottage which was well equipped. We were staying with extended family so the proximity of separate cottages was ideal. Pool was great with the timetable really helpful.

We had another lovely stay at Old Oak Cottages, it was our second visit. John and Amanda are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble. We got the most beautiful welcome hamper full of local goodies. Seven of us stayed in Pheasant and it was just the right size for us. It was a real bonus to have the washer and drier when we have kids. The pool is lovely and we used it most days. Sometimes the pool times don't work around days out so it would be great if there was a way for other cottages to mark to say they won't be using their slot in some way so others have more options. Have stayed at Old Oak Cottages twice a year for quite a few years. Beautiful cottages, well equipped. Amanda/Amy always on hand for any problems, not that we’ve ever had one. Lovely welcome pack containing nice quality items most appreciated. My Lab Izzy made most welcome, she loved her jar of treats. We will be back
We return to this venue at least once per year and so obviously we really like it. The cottages are self catering and exactly what we want because if we want to eat out there are various restaurants in the area. There is so much to do in the area that we never find ourselves stuck for something to do. The hosts are very friendly and helpful and we would recommend these cottages unreservedly.
