This is the second time we have stayed here and it was as fantastic as the first. Absolutely love the welcoming basket for ourselves and also for our dog they have thought about everything even our own private time in the pool and they do communal time as well the only negative thing I could say is the couch is not comfortable other than that I would give this holiday cottage 100%
We had a great time, everyone made use of the pool which was excellent. The kids paticularly enjoyed the visits from the chickens. Everything worked really well.
My family and I stayed at Badger for a week and honestly, it was perfect. John and Amanda were wonderful hosts, helping me go that extra mile for my family after a tough year. The location is so peaceful (though a fair drive from the shops if you are someone that likes to be close to amenities) and we loved going for walks in the area. Absolutely adored having a pool and a tennis court too!! Extremely comfy beds and some of the best nights sleep I've had in ages. Honestly, such a glorious, glorious week.
We had a lovely week at Fox cottage. The location is great, 2 minutes from the main road so although you feel very peaceful and far away from everything, its all very close to get to things! We had lovely days out nearby and a fab lunch at the Abbey Inn in Byland - hughky recommended! Having the pool was great for the kids after a day exploring. The cottage itself is warm, comfortable and has everything you need. All in all a wonderful stay, and we'd love to come back!
Wonderful cottage with everything needed for your break with a thoughtful welcome basket on arrival. Myself and my daughter came for a much needed peaceful break with our dog, very comfortable bed, resulting in a great sleep! Lots to do in the area we found some nice walks and enjoyed swimming in our daily slot in the pool. My daughter finds going to new places hard but relaxed the moment she entered the cottage and didn’t want to leave! We are looking forwards to coming again.
