Just perfect in every aspect. Location, lots of places to visit within easy driving distance, perfect views at every turn. Beautiful cosy accommodation, all within immaculately tended grounds. Ample and easy dedicated parking, brilliant step by step guidance on how to find this hidden gem amongst wonderful tranquil surroundings. A welcome basket did indeed make us feel welcome, as did lovely friendly and helpful Amy! What a find in glorious Yorkshire!
We loved our stay at Beaver Cottage. Our 2 small children were well provided for with the pool, play area (particularly the trampoline), stair gate, high chair, cot etc. The location was perfect for coast and inland exploring and the team were very helpful when we needed to contact them.
We booked Owl, Wren and Mouse for a family birthday break. All cottages were very clean and had everything we needed. The grounds of the farm are ideal for walks and so many good eateries within minutes of the farm. The pool was a fabulous bonus for our sons and their partners which was very well used due to the arrival of Storm Amy when we arrived and the following day. Service of the owners and daughter Amy was impeccable and we could not have asked for a better break for hubby's 70th birthday (thank you Amy so much for the decorations on arrival). We’ve had a truly lovely and relaxing break in Mouse Cottage. Cozy, warm and beautifully decorated — everything about it has been perfect. We usually come with friends and family, but this time it was just the two of us — a great opportunity to get to know the area better and make great use of the book in the cottage. We can highly recommend visiting the abbeys and Ripon Cathedral. We also enjoyed wandering around Northallerton and Helmsley on market days. We love staying at Old Oak Cottages. Fox is a lovely cottage, cosy and well equipped. The pool is great and the playground is a nice addition for little ones.
