Just enjoyed a lovely week here ! The chalet was very nice , bright and clean overlooking a large grassy area with great views of the park and woodland : very relaxing , with seating provided to enjoy it ! The interior is very welcoming and comfortable : loved the framed photos of the local beach and the “Norfolk”curtains in the main bedroom . Everything you needed was provided ( within COVID guidelines) . It’s a really nice walk into Cromer along the coastal path , with fantastic views of the town , it’s pier and the sea. The beach is lovely ! Lovely just to stay in Cromer , but the ch...more
Brilliant little cottage, we had a lovely holiday here. Be cautious as this is very much in the thick of things so can be noisy (The Crown, The Lobster, High Street are all in VERY close proximity). If you want super quiet then it's probably not for you.
Never been to Norfolk so we thought we would give Sheringham a go as it’s so conveniently placed. Chose 22 Cliff Road as it was dog friendly and seemed to be well located in Sheringham. It’s so convenient for everything, just a short walk down the road into the town, or up to the top of the road to walk along the coastal path The cottage is spotlessly clean and excellently appointed with everything you will need for your stay. The whole place felt brand new from top to bottom, and well thought out to cater for your needs, even the towels were brand new. This is not your usual tired holi...more
Very good for everything we wanted to drop. Very friendly welcome from staff at Keys will. Repeat...
This was not out first visit to Beck Cottage and will not be the last. Thank you for thinking of everything.
Quiet location yet close to the town centre and seafront. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely place to stay.
A wonderful location. Very modern and spotless apartment. Comfortable bed And well stocked kitchen. The heating system was easy to use and on a colder day was lovely and cosy. Allocated parking spot right outside.
Very peaceful and relaxing location close to Kelling Heath and the seafront. Excellent cottage for 2 people with ample space
I had high hopes for our stay in the Penthouse, the pictures on the Website looked really nice. But was a bit nervous as web pictures can make somewhere look better than it is. I needn’t of worried, The Penthouse was better than expected. It was spotless, light and airy and comfortable . It was extremely well equipped. I could have cooked a meal from scratch, with the equipment provided. Here was a nice bottle of wine and some biscuits on the table when we arrived. Such a nice touch. The location was ideal just a five minute walk from the sea. And the Apartment had its own parking...more
The apartment is very well presented, both in decor and furnishings. A bonus was that the heating came on automatically when it turned a bit colder. Very well placed for the beach front and the town, you could leave your car and walk wherever you wanted to go. Would definitely stay there again.
We have just returned from our first visit to St Austin’s Grove - hopefully it won’t be our last. From the moment we arrived at the lovely peaceful location in Sheringham we were very impressed. The position is excellent for both countryside and costal walks (great for dogs). Shops (a plethora of independent shops including butches, bakers, fishmongers, gift shops as well as Tesco). A multitude of eclectic cafes, restaurants and take always. Easy access to the Coast Road for days out. The house itself is welcoming, beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and everything you require is pr...more
Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Hay Shed in September 2020. Kitchenis fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Everything is absolutely spotless, hot tub was an added bonus. Could not fault this property.
ideal chalet for our needs and the location is to our liking. on our entry to the chalet we were very pleased with the cleanliness and how spacious it is. The only problem we had was when using the keyholder i found the box so low down and sometimes the buttons would not push in and with my osteoarthritis my wife had to help me get up again, I just think the box should be placed at a more eye-level.
We have been many years to Sheringham 70yrs and love the fact it hardly changes. The property School Yard Cottage is very comfortable, clean, everything you need, very well situated and parking for a small car a bonus. Stayed in many properties over the years and all have been good through Keys Holidays.
We had a lovely few days at Beverley Cottage. It is a very comfortable, clean, and cosy (it was December) cottage, and super well equipped in such a quiet but convenient spot for the shops and the beach. Definitely be coming again.
We loved Beulah House, it is in an ideal position, the house is tastefully decorated and very comfortable, there was nothing negative to stay about this at all. We would definitely recommend it. One small point, for reasons of safety it may be a good idea to have a rubber mat for the bath and for the shower. We would definitely stay there again.
Home from home, very clean and everything you need for a comfortable stay. Everything well within walking distance. Highly recommended 5 stars
We enjoyed our holiday staying at deck2 immensley, the apartment has a lovely comfortable feel about it and the bonus of a sea view, we would certainly return again
Accommodation was excellent - clean and comfortable. Well situated in Sheringham nr St Peter's Church.
on the hole we had avery good time at 107. just a couple of thing that may help for the future the shower bath needs a hand rail on the wall for more elderly clients getting in and out.
It looked small from the outside but we found it to have plenty of space on the inside. There were only 4 of us so we had plenty of room to spare but it could feel rather crowded with 12. Everything was in good condition and there was everything that we needed. The big draw for us was the view out to sea and the location in the centre of town both of which were perfect. We can't wait to return next year but this time in the summer so we can enjoy the outdoors more.
Went all cottage is in a perfect location for dog owners. Lovely walks on the common and up Beeston bump and within walking distance of a safe beach. Cottage was clean and well equipped.
Poppy Cottage is in an ideal position if you have a dog as it is on Beeston Common with direct access to the Coastal walk. The cottage was lovely and warm, being very comfortable, The kitchen diner is a big well equipped room. Parking is outside the property. We would certainly recommend this cottage to anyone to have a lovely stay.
We have stayed in this property several times, and love the space it provides. Its only yards from the sea front so we have on occasions nipped out to have a look at the sea even before we have had breakfast. It is also a few yards the other way and you are on the High Street - with all the local amenities including a Sainsbury's local - which is so handy if you have forgotten a few bits of shopping and also it opens late. The accommodation as a fully functioning washing machine and dishwasher, and everything that you would need for a week or two stay. The Hilton is definitely a cott...more
This was our fourth stay in Sandrock House and we have already booked for next year. This house is by far the best holiday rental we have experienced and we have tried others in Sherringham which simply don’t compare. The house is ideal for a couple or a bigger family. It is very well presented, very clean and provides everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. The house is situated very near to the sea, with sea views from the rooms on the front of the house. It is lovely to be a minutes walk away from the prom and the shops when you need them.
We had a lovely 4 night stay at number 48 from the 19th October during our half term week. Our party was myself, husband, son and dog. We were familiar with the chalet as our parents had stayed there previously and us on the same site in the summer. The chalet is extremely clean and comfortable and the location great for access to the beach. Days out included Bacton beach, the Ship at Mundesley and crazy golf in Cromer. We have highly recommended our stay to friends.
The cottage is in the most amazing location, a stones throw from the sea. bed too soft ! stairs very steep with a low ceiling that my partner kept hitting his head on! great views from the bedroom, well stocked kitchen although could do with an extra frying pan and possibly a washing machine if you are there for more than a week! parking should be part of the deal too, quite a pain looking for free parking as the car park by the cottage very expensive!
We stayed at Museum Cottages for a few nights in the winter and found it well located, warm and with all the essentials provided. It is a small cottage with low ceilings and very steep stairs so may not be suitable for all, but for a couple staying for a short visit it was a good option.
Great comfy house and good location for the shops and beach.------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Spotless, warm, comfortable, little welcoming gestures. Following all COVID-19 rules. Ideally position in the town but not far from the sea. Thank you.
Lovely chalet set in a nice, quiet location. We will book it again and i would certainly recommend to anyone who is wanting a nice peaceful holiday.
The house is very pleasant, comfortable and ideally suitable for a family to explore the North Norfolk coast with lovely local walks. The local enmities are superb and the location is perfect for a coastal break.
The cottage was delightful with every amenities on hand a very nice secluded garden and off road parking. Excellent place to stay for walks and a local shop just a short walk.
The fixtures and fittings were of high quality. It was extremely clean and comfortable and spacious and a bonus being on the ground floor..
Cottage lovely very clean & well equipped. Oven wasn’t working quite right very hot so cooking wasn’t good. Parking was ok if neighbours had been a bit more considerate. Overall a lovely holiday cottage.
Nice Cottage in quiet location ideal for exploring north norfolk. Has beautiful large well kept garden. Excellent wifi and sky tv provided. Enough space for family to enjoy a comfortable stay.
A very convenient location . The contents cater for families and couples well. The one drawback was the one toilet roll we were allocated with no spares to be seen.
Spent 3 lovely nights here. Location and views were perfect. However building work is being carried out behind the property, the scaffold spoilt part of the view. The shower was a bit hit and miss temperature wise.
Enjoyed our stay in a lovely cottage in a great location. Would definitely stay again and have recommended it to friends.
Fantastic location just 2 minutes from beach, Cottage is a bit tired and needs a deep clean especially the curtains, the linings are badly stained. If that is done it would be lovely. It is not suitable for people with mobility issues due to very steep steps.
Excellent location in quiet well serviced village perfect for those wanting a coastal holiday combined with touring further afield.
Lovely property would stay again comfy beds ldeal for beach and amenities.paticulaly liked the back area nice to sit in and private
We really enjoyed our stay in Annies cottage. It was like stepping back in time, loved all the period features. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden at the back was a real sun trap for the first few days of our stay. However when the weather changed dramatically, the owners were very prompt in turning the heating up for us. Situated in a great position for all amenities. Definitely recommend staying here.
Great location in Sheringham close to all amenities. Pity it was during partial lockdown so didn't make full use of local eateries and pubs.
A lovely short break, great weather van clean and tidy, enjoyed it just as much as when we visited last year
Despite having to move my June holiday to October because of Covid 19, I was lucky with the weather and was able to enjoy being by the sea. I have stayed in this area before in a different cottage and like the quietness and the easy parking. All the facilities were great. However, as this was the first holiday on my own since my partner died and I will look for somewhere smaller next time.
A very comfortable say in a lovely house, very well located 10 minutes from the town. And also well located for Beeston Bump and the Norfolk coastal path. Parking no problem. We had a water system problem whilst there, which was dealt with very promptly and efficiently by the agents the same day.
Repton Cottage is a modern recently renovated cottage located on a quiet private road but within easy distance of local amenities. Enjoy a cream tea on the village green, drop in to the local for a pint or two after a day seal watching on the local beach and don’t forget to pick up all that you may need from your local post office stores. The cottage is more than adequately equipped for the gastronomically challenged and just a few minutes drive from Cromer or Sheringham You are literally spoilt for choice and if you prefer you can even travel by rail from your local station or pick up one of ...more
Ideal holiday accommodation with lovely views of the sea from the lounge and balcony. It was very convenient for the town centre and has parking below the flat. Would book this one again.
Lovely relaxing stay in this cosy cottage. Very convenient for the high street and the beach. The log burner was a real bonus to keep warm in the evenings. We will return.
We loved the bungalow its was nice and clean we took the dog to the beach and we went to west runton common
When I arrived there was a dishwasher full of dirty dishes and I had to clean the soap scum from around the bath. Otherwise the apartment was clean , comfortable and very well appointed It was a bit in need of some TLC but this became obvious when I was informed the apartment was being taken out of the market next year. The situation and and views were brilliant and I have already booked another apartment for next year
Have been staying at this address for a number of years. The location suits us ideally and the ground floor accommodation is just right for two elderly people and the car parking facility is another attraction. Perhaps a little more attention to cleanliness to the cutlery and cooking utensils would be beneficial. On the whole it represents value for money and that is why we continue to holiday there.
Lovely cottage with adequate space. Overall quite well equipped, lovely powerful shower in the bedroom. Fab that 2 dogs are allowed.
Everything we wanted was on the doorstep: fresh crab, shopping, great food, beach ... Lovely to see the sea from every level of the cottage which was very comfortable.
Excellent location for a couple with a dog, no garden as such but huge area Ideal for dogs around the corner. House is ok, not luxury but beware very steep stairs especially coming down. Nice easy walk to beach or town centre.
We really enjoyed staying in this house in October half term. Sherringham is a lovely seaside town, with beautiful beaches and lots to do at all times of year. The house is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the centre of Sherringham and the sea. It has its own parking, which is really useful. Inside, it was clean and comfortable. It's a pretty, well-appointed little house with lovely views of gardens from the back and we really enjoyed our week.
We enjoyed our stay at Driftway Court, despite a very stormy weekend. The apartment is well situated to be able to easily walk to everything Sheringham has to offer and the parking space is an added bonus. We found the apartment fairly comfortable for three guests but another armchair is really required for the fourth guest to be comfortable. Furniture was all very clean and serviceable as is the whole apartment, however some modernisation/decoration would make the world of difference.
We stayed at this property whilst working in the local town. We found the property very comfortable and great value for money. The staff at Keys Holiday Cottages were extremely helpful when booking
Very central to all the shops sea and steam railway good parking good walks just needs the good weather
We would certainly book flint rock again, the only criticism I would have are the pillows, we would have struggled if all the party were at the house at the same time.
Whilst this property was cosy and reasonably comfortable it is unloved. As a fellow renter of my own holiday home for some 13 years I know the importance of presentation and maintenance, something this property sadly lacks. It was not very clean (photos taken as proof) and it is extremely poorly maintained. There are too many negatives with minimal positives to praise this property. I would suggest the owners step back and look at this property "through the eyes of a guest", if you do not love the property yourself how can you expect your guests to.
We were looking for somewhere for a break on the North Norfolk coast. There are just the two if us and two dogs, so this place was much larger than we needed. That being said it was cheaper than a lot of much smaller cottages. It is a very nice, modern, large house on the outskirts of Mundelsy. We walked to the beach most mornings down quiet roads. Close by at the edge of a new development of houses, was a water meadow with an all weather path, ideal for early morning dog walks. The house is large modern and we enjoyed the luxurious under floor heating, as did the dogs! As we were staying a...more
There needs to be basic instructions for the heating and hot water The induction hob was not mentioned in the discrimination, with a pacemaker you need to keep a distance from these The hot water tap on the bathroom sink dripped The accommodation was very dusty, and hadn’t had the deep clean as promised
A brilliant location for the beach and the town. Stunning sea views. Can see the beach and loved being able to hear the sea. Dog friendly too which was an added bonus.
The view from this apartment is outstanding (of the Sea and town) and was a real highlight of our stay but I'm sorry to say the rest of the apartment was a real let down. Everything in it is old, tired and sometimes threadbare! After a long drive it's very disappointing start to your holiday!! The low point was definitely the sofa which had a very low back and was the most uncomfortable we've ever had to sit on, which is really frustrating when the view is so good... Also led to us staying out more... Overall we had a good holiday as it was a joy to hear the sound of the sea as we went to slee...more
We enjoyed our holiday in Sheringham. We had some lovely walks, including one in Sheringham Park. We enjoyed our meal in Crofters and the Lobster.
Huge amount of water wasted trying to get hot water to taps, collected in saucepan and tipped on garden, sofa in lounge very uncomfortable for small people, kitchen worksurfaces very sticky, could not clean it, i suppose down to type of cleaner used otherwise cottage good.
the last time i was in NO 5 museum cottage was about 4 years as i have been in 2 and 3 when i left no 5 i said the sofa needs to be replaced but i see it is still the sofa it could do with a good clean.also the saucepans are in short supply ,also please put up a notice over the cooker as you have to put the timer on before it will come on witch some one made that design has never use a cooker a man i should think..thank you.
Lovely property in a quiet location, however the garden is very overgrown. The property could also do with better cleaning. The dust in areas was terrible and obviously been there some time and lots of cobwebs on the walls! Window sills outside were black and hadn’t been cleaned for some time! Beds were uncomfortable and the single beds squeaked terribly!
