Very pleased, will definitely rebook. We are a couple with no children and found the apartment perfect. We are very familiar with the area so knew what we were after and 14 East Cliff fitted the bill exactly. Clean, spacious, furnished to a high standard, tastefully decorated in seaside style and well kitted out. The view is fantastic for people or pier watching from either the bay windows or the private patio. Luggage transfer does involve several trips up and down steps, requires normal fitness (and teamwork) and would be more difficult with a young family. We parked the car at the top ...more
Never been to Norfolk so we thought we would give Sheringham a go as it’s so conveniently placed. Chose 22 Cliff Road as it was dog friendly and seemed to be well located in Sheringham. It’s so convenient for everything, just a short walk down the road into the town, or up to the top of the road to walk along the coastal path The cottage is spotlessly clean and excellently appointed with everything you will need for your stay. The whole place felt brand new from top to bottom, and well thought out to cater for your needs, even the towels were brand new. This is not your usual tired holi...more
Just enjoyed a lovely week here ! The chalet was very nice , bright and clean overlooking a large grassy area with great views of the park and woodland : very relaxing , with seating provided to enjoy it ! The interior is very welcoming and comfortable : loved the framed photos of the local beach and the “Norfolk”curtains in the main bedroom . Everything you needed was provided ( within COVID guidelines) . It’s a really nice walk into Cromer along the coastal path , with fantastic views of the town , it’s pier and the sea. The beach is lovely ! Lovely just to stay in Cromer , but the ch...more
Brilliant little cottage, we had a lovely holiday here. Be cautious as this is very much in the thick of things so can be noisy (The Crown, The Lobster, High Street are all in VERY close proximity). If you want super quiet then it's probably not for you.
Lovely comfortable and quiet cottage. Sarah provided several thoughtful touches and was very helpful
Very good for everything we wanted to drop. Very friendly welcome from staff at Keys will. Repeat...
We would definitely stay here again and would book through Keys. Great cottage in an ideal position - very clean and had everything we needed. See you soon :-)
My husband and I always try to stay at this flat when visiting Norfolk. It is kept beautifully and has all the things one needs for a nice relaxing stay.
A wonderful location. Very modern and spotless apartment. Comfortable bed And well stocked kitchen. The heating system was easy to use and on a colder day was lovely and cosy. Allocated parking spot right outside.
Very peaceful and relaxing location close to Kelling Heath and the seafront. Excellent cottage for 2 people with ample space
We had a 5 night stay a week ago. We would thoroughly recommend. Kitchen equipment was all we needed and iron and ironing board provided. We would suggest clearer instructions re location eg. approach down path next to the name of adjacent cottage as sign was blocked by wheeley bin. We would definitely book again if staying in Sheringham. Overall location great and car parking at property. Very impressed with Keys Agents too.
The apartment is very well presented, both in decor and furnishings. A bonus was that the heating came on automatically when it turned a bit colder. Very well placed for the beach front and the town, you could leave your car and walk wherever you wanted to go. Would definitely stay there again.
Just returned from a wonderful stay at the Hay Shed in September 2020. Kitchenis fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. Everything is absolutely spotless, hot tub was an added bonus. Could not fault this property.
We have just returned from our first visit to St Austin’s Grove - hopefully it won’t be our last. From the moment we arrived at the lovely peaceful location in Sheringham we were very impressed. The position is excellent for both countryside and costal walks (great for dogs). Shops (a plethora of independent shops including butches, bakers, fishmongers, gift shops as well as Tesco). A multitude of eclectic cafes, restaurants and take always. Easy access to the Coast Road for days out. The house itself is welcoming, beautifully decorated, clean, spacious and everything you require is pr...more
Great property and good location. One small point cars and vans parked outside made it difficult to park on the property.Perhaps taking out the bush in the front garden could help. The owner was very friendly and helpful with a small issue .
The Old Chapel was equipped to a very high standard, The level of cleanliness was very high. Cleaning materials were in abundance appropriate for anti COVID measures. The location was in the centre of Holt, a busy town with good shopping. The north Norfolk heritage coast just a short drive away. The only disadvantage was there was no outside seating which in high summer would be more of an issue.
Very spacious and comfortable house. It is very well equipped and there is everything you would need. Our only criticisms are: 1. Car parking is very tricky with a large car. It would benefit having the front wall removed or shortened. 2. There was no electric shaver point in any of the bathrooms 3. The oven is very fierce and uncontrollable. Although a note was left explaining how to set the oven, we still had 1 or 2 overcooked dinners. However, in spite of these points we thoroughly enjoyed our stay there.
Couldn’t ask for more. The location is spot on close to the beach for walking and local amenities. The view from the back of the house is stunning. The front of the house is a little sun trap . Inside the house has been well thought out as it has everything you need. From a mums point of view it had a highchair, travel cot and best of all safety gates at the top of the stairs and at the bottom. Thank you . We will be back as my family and I have a wonderful time .
ideal chalet for our needs and the location is to our liking. on our entry to the chalet we were very pleased with the cleanliness and how spacious it is. The only problem we had was when using the keyholder i found the box so low down and sometimes the buttons would not push in and with my osteoarthritis my wife had to help me get up again, I just think the box should be placed at a more eye-level.
We have been many years to Sheringham 70yrs and love the fact it hardly changes. The property School Yard Cottage is very comfortable, clean, everything you need, very well situated and parking for a small car a bonus. Stayed in many properties over the years and all have been good through Keys Holidays.
Poppycott is a lovely cottage within 10 minutes walk of the town. Lovely views of Beeston Bump. Lovely clean, comfortable cottage with little outdoor patio area. Nice and quiet area.
We loved Beulah House, it is in an ideal position, the house is tastefully decorated and very comfortable, there was nothing negative to stay about this at all. We would definitely recommend it. One small point, for reasons of safety it may be a good idea to have a rubber mat for the bath and for the shower. We would definitely stay there again.
We enjoyed our holiday staying at deck2 immensley, the apartment has a lovely comfortable feel about it and the bonus of a sea view, we would certainly return again
We have no reservations at all about the location, the standards of comfort and the service we received. Just mind those stairs. The treads are narrower than most and we quickly discovered that on descent it felt safe to take a firm hold on the top of the rail and do the first three steps sideways. There's a lot to do and see in and around Sheringham. Eating out is pricy, but we found the Thai restaurant, a couple of minutes from the cottage, to be absolutely excellent. A word about parking: the little car park next to the cottage has a nightmare machine that doesn't take coins, won't ...more
Accommodation was excellent - clean and comfortable. Well situated in Sheringham nr St Peter's Church.
on the hole we had avery good time at 107. just a couple of thing that may help for the future the shower bath needs a hand rail on the wall for more elderly clients getting in and out.
This was our fourth stay in Sandrock House and we have already booked for next year. This house is by far the best holiday rental we have experienced and we have tried others in Sherringham which simply don’t compare. The house is ideal for a couple or a bigger family. It is very well presented, very clean and provides everything you could possibly need for a relaxing holiday. The house is situated very near to the sea, with sea views from the rooms on the front of the house. It is lovely to be a minutes walk away from the prom and the shops when you need them.
Had a really lovely holiday. First time in this lovely cottage, spotless and cosy and very comfortable and welcoming. Had everything we needed. Fantastic location. Had a really wonderful relaxing holiday, despite the bad weather! The cottage was so nice that the weather didn’t matter. Definitely hope to stay there again.
Great location. Very close to town. When we discovered the shortcuts. Comfortable place to stay. Parking although locally told any streets. There were yellow lines and permit areas. Locals parked strategically to block open parking. Carl parks expensive and a distance away. Eventually parked in area 5 streets away. With no restrictions. Wifi very intermittent for some phone contracts. Beach close. Cafes close and shops. Great if fit and well.
Great comfy house and good location for the shops and beach.------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Stayed at Beverly Cottage for a week, it is a beautiful cottage, very clean, spacious, beautiful furniture it has everything you would need for your stay, It is in an excellent position, quiet. The only thing I think could do with an upgrade is the bathroom it is looking a bit tired, but it did not spoil our stay.
Lovely chalet set in a nice, quiet location. We will book it again and i would certainly recommend to anyone who is wanting a nice peaceful holiday.
The cottage was delightful with every amenities on hand a very nice secluded garden and off road parking. Excellent place to stay for walks and a local shop just a short walk.
Nicely beach themed throughout very clean and tidy, please note a short walk though grass to get to the door so a suitcase on wheels is awkward,
The house was great in condition, plenty of space for the two of us and small courtyard which was ideal for our small dog. About 10 minutes walk into town and beach. 5 minutes to Tesco.
A nice clean and comfortable little house. Nice and quiet location although only a short walk to all amenities. We would certainly come again.
Nice Cottage in quiet location ideal for exploring north norfolk. Has beautiful large well kept garden. Excellent wifi and sky tv provided. Enough space for family to enjoy a comfortable stay.
Sea Edge is a beautiful small cottage which is nicely furnished and well equipped for short breaks. Although we sadly had inclement weather it was still wonderful to sit and take in the view, which you could never tire of. In fact this was the whole reason for booking this property for an October stay and it didn't let us down. However, the lack of a hand basin with hot water in the shower room meant that we had to use the kitchen sink for shaving and all hand washing. We appreciate the logistics of fitting everything into the tight space of the shower room but felt that a basin could...more
This property was cosy and comfortable. And well equipped nice little garden. Not far from the town and beach.
Fantastic location just 2 minutes from beach, Cottage is a bit tired and needs a deep clean especially the curtains, the linings are badly stained. If that is done it would be lovely. It is not suitable for people with mobility issues due to very steep steps.
I was very happy with the apartment. It was well maintained and situated in a quiet block. I would mention two points. I wanted to open windows but found them all locked and could not work out how to open them. I did not find any information on the recycling arrangements. Some advice on these would be welcome.
THE FLAT IS WELL POSITIONED AND EQUIPPED. THERE WAS A WELCOME TRAY INCLUDING MILK, BISCUITS AND TEA WHICH WAS UNEXPECTED DUE TO COVID RESTRICTIONS. WE WERE THEREFORE DISAPPOINTED NOT TO HAVE BEEN LEFT WINE AS WE WERE RETURNING GUESTS AND THIS HAD BEEN PROMISED. AMPLE CLEANING PRODUCTS AND CLOTHES WERE ALSO PROVIDED. THE HEATING BOILER WAS EFFECTIVE BUT NOISY. MAYBE SOME EXTRA FREE STANDING LIGHTING AS READING DIFFICULT WHEN USING DINING TABLE. THE BED COULD MAYBE BE UPGRADED TO KINGSIZE OR HAVE A KINGSIZE DUVET.
Excellent location in quiet well serviced village perfect for those wanting a coastal holiday combined with touring further afield.
We really enjoyed our stay in Annies cottage. It was like stepping back in time, loved all the period features. The cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden at the back was a real sun trap for the first few days of our stay. However when the weather changed dramatically, the owners were very prompt in turning the heating up for us. Situated in a great position for all amenities. Definitely recommend staying here.
Lovely property would stay again comfy beds ldeal for beach and amenities.paticulaly liked the back area nice to sit in and private
The house is located close to the high street so is very convenient. Parking is available which is an added bonus. The house is well furnished and comfortable, we had everything we needed. You can only collect the keys between 2pm and 4pm which is a bit restrictive if you are coming from far away.
A lovely short break, great weather van clean and tidy, enjoyed it just as much as when we visited last year
A very comfortable say in a lovely house, very well located 10 minutes from the town. And also well located for Beeston Bump and the Norfolk coastal path. Parking no problem. We had a water system problem whilst there, which was dealt with very promptly and efficiently by the agents the same day.
Repton Cottage is a modern recently renovated cottage located on a quiet private road but within easy distance of local amenities. Enjoy a cream tea on the village green, drop in to the local for a pint or two after a day seal watching on the local beach and don’t forget to pick up all that you may need from your local post office stores. The cottage is more than adequately equipped for the gastronomically challenged and just a few minutes drive from Cromer or Sheringham You are literally spoilt for choice and if you prefer you can even travel by rail from your local station or pick up one of ...more
Ideal holiday accommodation with lovely views of the sea from the lounge and balcony. It was very convenient for the town centre and has parking below the flat. Would book this one again.
We loved canary cottage and going for walks with our dog we had nice dinners at the crown inn pub
Home from home, everything you need for a self catering holiday. The cottage is warm, clean and comfortable with a private court yard. Easily accommodates a family of five plus a dog.
A VERY SMALL AND COMPACT COTTGE ? , VERY HANDY FOR THE SHOPS AND PUB ETC , THE PALLET TRUCK TABLE WAS IN THE WAY , AND WAY TO BIG FOR THE SIZE OF PLACE !!!!! NO WASHING UP LIQUID OR ANY CLEANING MATERIALS , A BIT TIGHT FISTED ???
Our much needed holiday at our favourite place, Poppy Line Cottage, we come here regularly because of the location, the cleanliness of the property, it meets our needs for a relaxing holiday with no worries, thank you.
When I arrived there was a dishwasher full of dirty dishes and I had to clean the soap scum from around the bath. Otherwise the apartment was clean , comfortable and very well appointed It was a bit in need of some TLC but this became obvious when I was informed the apartment was being taken out of the market next year. The situation and and views were brilliant and I have already booked another apartment for next year
Perfect for walking the Hills and the Coast. Parking at the property is very good and the location of the Bungalow is Ideal for visiting all local places of interest.
Lovely cottage with adequate space. Overall quite well equipped, lovely powerful shower in the bedroom. Fab that 2 dogs are allowed.
Excellent location for a couple with a dog, no garden as such but huge area Ideal for dogs around the corner. House is ok, not luxury but beware very steep stairs especially coming down. Nice easy walk to beach or town centre.
Everything we wanted was on the doorstep: fresh crab, shopping, great food, beach ... Lovely to see the sea from every level of the cottage which was very comfortable.
We enjoyed our stay at Driftway Court, despite a very stormy weekend. The apartment is well situated to be able to easily walk to everything Sheringham has to offer and the parking space is an added bonus. We found the apartment fairly comfortable for three guests but another armchair is really required for the fourth guest to be comfortable. Furniture was all very clean and serviceable as is the whole apartment, however some modernisation/decoration would make the world of difference.
Very central to all the shops sea and steam railway good parking good walks just needs the good weather
We would certainly book flint rock again, the only criticism I would have are the pillows, we would have struggled if all the party were at the house at the same time.
A convenient pace to stay Simple accommodation, but as described Parking space adequate Stairs quite steep
We were very lucky with the weather but also lucky with our choice of accommodation. 9 Canada Road is well appointed, very clean and well equipped. The beds were extremely comfortable and the shower powerful. We parked in the car park opposite and bought a 3 day ticket so we could come and go as we wanted. All in all an excellent place to stay.
Whilst this property was cosy and reasonably comfortable it is unloved. As a fellow renter of my own holiday home for some 13 years I know the importance of presentation and maintenance, something this property sadly lacks. It was not very clean (photos taken as proof) and it is extremely poorly maintained. There are too many negatives with minimal positives to praise this property. I would suggest the owners step back and look at this property "through the eyes of a guest", if you do not love the property yourself how can you expect your guests to.
Love staying in this cottage so central for everything in sheringham relaxing home from home just perfect
There needs to be basic instructions for the heating and hot water The induction hob was not mentioned in the discrimination, with a pacemaker you need to keep a distance from these The hot water tap on the bathroom sink dripped The accommodation was very dusty, and hadn’t had the deep clean as promised
We had a very pleasant stay and would like to thank the owner for being so accommodating following the booking error.
A brilliant location for the beach and the town. Stunning sea views. Can see the beach and loved being able to hear the sea. Dog friendly too which was an added bonus.
Booked a week at Dairy cottage as we needed a larger than average property as their were two family groups during the covid pandemic. We occupied three bedrooms and utilised the three bathrooms. Plenty of space downstairs too. A fully equipped kitchen and a useful utility room as you entered the property. The only problems we encountered were with the door on the microwave and fridge in the kitchen and the shower dial in the second floor shower room. The house was very comfortable and very clean. It's a bit of a walk to the beach if you have elderly relatives but only a couple of minutes b...more
The view from this apartment is outstanding (of the Sea and town) and was a real highlight of our stay but I'm sorry to say the rest of the apartment was a real let down. Everything in it is old, tired and sometimes threadbare! After a long drive it's very disappointing start to your holiday!! The low point was definitely the sofa which had a very low back and was the most uncomfortable we've ever had to sit on, which is really frustrating when the view is so good... Also led to us staying out more... Overall we had a good holiday as it was a joy to hear the sound of the sea as we went to slee...more
Huge amount of water wasted trying to get hot water to taps, collected in saucepan and tipped on garden, sofa in lounge very uncomfortable for small people, kitchen worksurfaces very sticky, could not clean it, i suppose down to type of cleaner used otherwise cottage good.
the last time i was in NO 5 museum cottage was about 4 years as i have been in 2 and 3 when i left no 5 i said the sofa needs to be replaced but i see it is still the sofa it could do with a good clean.also the saucepans are in short supply ,also please put up a notice over the cooker as you have to put the timer on before it will come on witch some one made that design has never use a cooker a man i should think..thank you.
The pictures on the website looked great. The furniture was decent quality but the general maintenance was very poor as was the cleanliness. The twin bedroom shower smelt foul from stagnant water plus no cover on the drainage hole. The washing machine seal was mouldy and the powder drawer was grey and slimy. The cupboard was used as a dumping ground. In the kitchen area the bin lid was not fixed, a two minute job. In the main bedroom en suite a coloured ring from an electric toothbrush was laying in the corner from previous occupants. The carpets between hall and bedroom one were not fixed un...more
Lovely property in a quiet location, however the garden is very overgrown. The property could also do with better cleaning. The dust in areas was terrible and obviously been there some time and lots of cobwebs on the walls! Window sills outside were black and hadn’t been cleaned for some time! Beds were uncomfortable and the single beds squeaked terribly!
