We keep returning to this cosy cottage which has everything you need for a comfortable stay, as well as the most stunning views of the dramatic landscape all around. The owners are friendly and welcoming with cream tea on arrival and lovely flowers, many thanks Lee and Will! With the sea so close, many walks & places to visit nearby and a very good pub/restaurant within walking distance, we have all we need here. Hence the title Paradise at Porthmeor. It’s certainly ours!

This was our second visit to Eliza's Croft and our fourth visit to Porthmeor which has become our favourite spot on this part of the coast. From the welcome by Lee and William you begin to relax into your surroundings.
Eliza's Croft is bright, cheerful and comfortable, Carn Galva fills the view from the windows, you can sit in the garden and enjoy the sunsets and you are a stone's throw from walks in the best clifftop scenery in Cornwall. Being so hot during this visit we did less walking than usual so we slowed our pace and revisited old favourites like St Michael's Mount and the tin coast and took advantage of restaurants in St Ives and Marazion and the Tinner's Arms at Zennor, we even used the open top bus to save driving.
Whatever the season ,Lee and William are to be congratulated on providing the perfect setting for a great holiday. M.B

This cottage has it all! Situated under the foot of Carn Galver and looking out over ancient fields and the Keltic sea. Equipped with everything you need on a holiday out. After a long hike or swim in the sea, this cottage feels at home. You can relaxe in a comfortable room with that stunning view into historie. There is also a fireplace to warm you up when the evenings becoming colder. The guest are excellent local hosts who are very helpfull. Thanks Lee and William, would love to come back one day.

Thank you for your super review. We agree, the view from Eliza's Croft is spectacular whatever the weather! The cottage is named after William's granny Eliza, it was built for her on her marriage to Jim Berryman

Another brilliant holiday in this delightful cottage. The cottage has a lovely bright living/dining/kitchen area. It has magnificent views over the stunning and ancient Penwith coast and inland area. A very quiet location but in walking distance of a great pub for eating in - expensive and needs booking well in advance but excellent food.

The three of us drove down overnight from Newcastle to Porthmeor and we were delighted at the welcome received and by the comfort and perfect location of Eliza's Croft. Our two weeks were filled with clifftop and field walks, visits to nearby coves, and delicious meals out. Returning to the Croft each night was a delight, with spectacular views, wonderful birdsong, and visits in the nearby fields of cows and their calfs. A good nights sleep always followed. We've already booked for next year. A perfect holiday.

Our fifth time here, and hopefully many more to come . To go through the green side gate , close it behind us and amble up the path to the Croft, we enter a warm, peaceful haven that affords a stunning view of distant hills, scattered with dry stone walls that have stood for hundreds of years. On more adventurous days we visit St Ives, Mousehole, Penzance, Kynance cove, to name but a few. And all within easy reach. . . . But always nice to get back to Eliza’s Croft!

A wonderful secluded Croft, offering views of sweeping hills and scattered stone buildings. The rare sound of a cockerel or a Cow enhanced the setting. So near to many landmarks and places of interest. Will always be our number one port of call.
