Absolutely loved our stay at Mornacott, really peaceful relaxing location. Cottage had everything we needed but smallest of suggestions would be that providing more hangers would be helpful. The pool was great fun and a decent size compared to other places, and super clean. The night safari was so much fun and had the kids mesmerised - special thanks to Charles for this. The games room was great to keep the kids occupied while we made dinner. Archie was only a text away if we ever had any questions. All in all if we ever visit Devon again the future we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.
We are just back from a gorgeous weekend at Mornacott for the May Bank Holiday. Orchard Cottage was perfect for our group of 8 (two families of four, plus a dog). From a morning coffee with stunning uninterrupted views, private use of the pool house, a well-stocked games room, pheasant, deer, fox and bird spotting, an amazing evening safari with Archie (the children - and adults - loved this and have not stopped talking about it!), collecting eggs each morning for breakfast, a 5k circular walk around the estate, finishing with a family game of football with a sunset picnic in the games fie...more
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Mornacott. Spacious rooms, nicely decorated. Well heated. Loved the indoor pool with dedicated timeslots for each cottage, and my kids enjoyed getting fresh eggs from the chickens every day!
