Goldcrest was ideal for us as we had a family wedding at the castle. It mentioned a 2-4 capacity in the particulars (with a sofa bed) but it was clear on arrival that there would have been no room if 3 or 4 people needed to stay. Space generally was an issue and we would recommend a smaller bed in the bedroom with a place to store/hang your stuff added. Fiona who looked after us was great and it is an ideal place for calm and countryside.
Our third stay at Wadhurst Castle Cottage, which never disappoints. Cosy and welcoming and in stunning countryside. Views of the castle grounds are beautiful and which are a joy to walk through. The only reason we have marked down location is because Wadhurst Village has become a bottle-neck for traffic since our last visit but by foot is an easy walk from the cottage.
