The lodge site is set in the hillside in Lerags Glen towards Loch Feochan.
My self and my family had 2 of the conifer lodges 6 and 7, we had an excellent stay and would definitely recommend the site, our older family members thought the journey was too long, but the kids thoroughly enjoyed their stay, hopefully we will be back some time soon, lodges seemed a wee bit dated but you can tell changes are being made. The barn pub is very cosy and friendly, All in All we had a great time.
When we arrived there was no-one from the lodge around to welcome us, there was a sign for reception and our key left there. Upon entering the lodge we noticed that there was no decking area which was in the description of the lodge although i do realise they all vary but if your reading about Ash Lodge then you expect to get similar. There was no fire pit either. With regards to the lodge upon entering it was absolutely Baltic inside, as if no one had been in it for weeks. Comfortable, nicely situated chalet. Within very easy reach of Oban for meals out. Reasonably well equipped though there could be more cutlery and utensils in the kitchen while accepting it is only for two people.
