A truly unique and unrivaled location for a self-catering holiday, this beautiful Scottish land of mountains, lochs and islands can be experienced from the comfort of our Lagnakeil self catering lodges on the banks of sea loch "Feochan" on Scotland's west coast. The lodge site is set in the hillside in Lerags Glen towards Loch Feochan.
Lovely log cabins , in a cracking location, very handy for Oban, only 10 mins drive away, but it's still far enough out of town to make you feel like your so much more out in wilderness ! I
Lots to see and do in local area, we went Ganavan Sands beach in oban, & Easdale island , going over the historic " Bridge over the Atlantic " (only 25 minutes away) Great drive and brilliant views of the West coast of Scotland.
The cabins & the site is very well looked after.
Loved our stay at Lagnakeil. The lodges are very well equipped. Like a home from home. My only slight negative would be the shower. It’s not very powerful but still does the job. The view from Ash 6 is stunning. I would definitely return and recommend.
Kilbride church (on the road in, on the left) is also worth a visit. Liam will tell you wonderful (some recent and sad) stories. He may even sing for you! It’s a very interesting little church.
We stayed here for a week and loved it. It is an amazing location. The lodge was not as big as I expected but once there was big enough for everything we needed. Roshin was lovely and helpful. Only one small thing was the WiFi signal in the lodge was poor if you needed internet connectivity. Lots of great things to do in Oban and surrounding areas. Would definitely recommend and hope to come back again in the future.
