Great central location and very well equipped throughout. Very clean and modern appearance in an apartment that more than met our expectations. Small touches made our stay special and even our dog was fully catered for- thanks for the special touch of having dog bed, treats on hand, etc. Owner, Bill made sure we were all set before he left and he also gave us his direct phone number in case of any emergency. This will be our go to place anytime we are staying in Callender.
Will certainly be using this apartment again in the future. excellent location and very smart apartment. well organised arrangements for keys and a very warm welcome.
The nice people in the Lochearnhead Hotel called it the "Upside Down House" because the kitchen and living room were on the top floor, up a spiral staircase. All four bedrooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and appliances we needed for our two week stay. The view was absolutely breathtaking on the top floor deck, and also up the hill behind the house on a freestanding wood deck. One of my fondest memories will be watching the meteor shower with my sons up there while looking down over the loch, with a crystal clear sky full of stars overhead. We really lov...more
The wee house is a lovely place to stay, we were made to feel very welcome by Louise. The property is in a beautiful location with lots of amenities close by. We look forward to returning to the Wee house in the future.
The property is wonderful. The view from the arch window in the kitchen and the balcony off the sitting room are lovely. The master bedroom view is spectacular, my only regret was that there was not a clear night to be able to enjoy the stars from this window. The property was cleaned and maintained to a high standard. I would not hesitate in staying here again. I would also book with cooper cottages again as they were very quick in responding to any queries I had.
Very enjoyable stay in remote location with lots of birds and red squirrels a d pine marten nearby !!!
Had a great stay here in lochearnhead where I could go Munro bagging without the need for a two hour drive first! Was fortunate with the weather too, win win! Alan and Heather were very welcoming and helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them to organise. Would highly recommend it!
We enjoyed a great weekend in the Millmore lodge. It has a really nice a garden with a river eith rapids flowing through it! Very friendly hosts!
We enjoyed our stay with walks in the area and travel to many historical places. Then the nice weather made the stay unforgettable.
We were very happy with the location and the size of the cottage. It was helped by wonderful weather.
We had a great time et the Annfield Cottage. It is a cosy Little Cottage that provides everything you need. The Location is great, as it is situated very private but also very near to the town Center. We would get back any time!
Comfortable and convenient property. Exterior door locks awkward to use and door handle to small bathroom from single bedroom does not work. Otherwise very happy with this holiday cottage.
Having a full size table tennis table and the hot tub outside was great. We liked the layout of the house particularly the open plan kitchen/dining and seating area. The wooden hall floor looked rather tired but obviously it gets a lot of use. If there was a large sunken mat well in the porch it would help keep the floor in better condition. The small doormat which got in the way of opening the front door was not very efficient. There was plenty of space for parking and turning cars on the driveway. Beds were comfortable, good bed linen and plenty of towels provided. We very much enjoye...more
We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen has a great cooker which we used a couple of times. The beds were very comfortable and adequate storage space for clothes etc. The house is in a central location so it was easy to get around.
Myself and two sisters visit Tomanour twice a year. It is so homely and comfortable and has everything we could want to make us comfortable. Excellent location with good enclosed garden.
Perfect from start to finish. The cottage is beautiful and finished to a high standard. It had everything we need and more. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Old Schoolhouse and Cooper Cottages.
Wow what a cottage absolutely beautiful perfect location lots of walks there are 6 pubs within walking distance that all serve food ,cottage has everything you could wish for ,we really didn't want to leave thanks so much will definitely be back
the location is perfect for water sports and for visiting south scotland, situated at one hour from glasgow, edimburgh, east and west coast. the cottage is perfect in everithing
Thank you for letting us stay in your beautiful cottage. We've had a great time in Killin, definitely a brilliant place to come for a break. The cottage has everything you would need and very cosy. We definitely would recommend this cottage and Cooper Cottages! Thank you
We enjoyed our stay in a lovely Cooper cottage and in a beautiful area. We really recommend this cottage as also Coopers.
A very clean and cosy cottage, perfect for exploring Perthshire, owners extremely helpful and just the right size for two.
Cottage central to the village and its amenities, well resourced and warm. Lots of local tourist information and walks. Very welcoming and look forward to coming back for a longer stay.
The house was so cosy on our arrival. Emma the owner met us st the house and made us feel so welcome. Everything we needed was there . Beds very cosy. Would recommend this house for a visit
Lovely cottage well equipped and comfortable Ideal location to base yourself if you want to tour west Scotland stunning views Could do with WiFi though Would stay again
We all thought the cottage was absolutely beautiful. It looked perfect on arrival. Summer day, sunshine and a lovely lush garden too, full of happy birds. Easy to find in the village, and the village itself is really sweet and has some useful, friendly shops. We were however surprised by the bad, very “off” smell as we walked in the front door though, and we have no idea what it was or is. It is only in the immediate area around the front door /bathroom door downstairs bedroom, nowhere else in the house. We left doors and windows open as much as possible to help this, which worked after a wh...more
Tom na Voil is a pleasant cottage in a lovely area. However, the whole point of choosing this location was for the wildlife as was billed as a selling point on the website. There is a wildlife observation book at the cottage and despite being there in June, there had been no sightings since March with red squirrels being seen. I did see the red squirrels but there was little else and the biggest contribution to the lack of bio diversity is the obnoxious and copious use of slug pellets. How many creatures are dead from ingesting snails that have been killed with the pellets. I have never s...more
Wonderful central place, close to all amenities and lovely views. Well set up apartment. Great for our family with two teenagers.
The Old Bakery was ideal for us to go out and about visiting the area. It is spacious and ideal for a family. Although it lies centrally in Killin it is a very quiet location. We found it a little chilly when we arrived but had settled in once we had put the heating on and had a very comfortable stay. On arrival we were met by the owner who told us much information about the local area. The kitchen is spacious with everything you need and we did cook indoors a few days. The local pubs do excellent food and it is such a quick walk to the falls of Dochart that it is ideally situated. We ...more
We really enjoyed our stay at the Armoury. The owners are really helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The house is well equipped with crockery, glassware, cooking dishes etc. Plenty of room and perfect for a group stay.
View Cottage has a lovely position high above the road at Lochearnhead, but is surprisingly peaceful & quiet. The garden room is a joy of sunshine with views down the loch & is even a pleasure when the days are wet & grey. The kitchen despite being quite compact had everything we needed. It was also a treat to find the old railway station behind the cottage & be able to do a circular walk to the viaduct & return over the garden fence. We really enjoyed our stay here.
Lovely property in a lovely location. Cottage had everything we needed and was nice and secluded. We didn’t meet the owners but they helpfully kept in touch via text and a hand written note. They’d provided a lot of info in the cottage on the local area which was excellent. We went to the Kirkstyle hotel for dinner was great mainly down to the craic from the locals. My only complaint would be the outside decking was a bit run down, we couldn’t have sat out on the furniture.
An amazing location, wonderfully accoutred and views to die for. Easy launch of the boat next door and wide gate for the trailer. Many thanks.
We had a lovely time. The cottage is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The hosts are very kind and helpful.
A lovely week at Ruggles cottage. So many extras in the kitchen it was like home from home. No need to be cold as plenty of wood for the fire and if that wasn’t enough there was also central heating. Beautiful area and lovely walks from the cottage. Only downside for us we booked from advert for 4 bedrooms and on arrival owner said she kept bunk bedroom for private use. As there were 6 of us we doubled up and managed but had we known this we could have booked a 3 bedroom cottage for less.
A lovely stay in this accommodation. The photos don’t do it justice - the view from the lounge is amazing. Great as well to have a washing machine but no drying facilities which is a shame. I would have liked more cleaning products as I like to leave places as I find them. More logs also would have been nice as Scottish summers can be quite chilly. Overall though a lovely place.
Very comfortable Walking distance to Comrie Spacious bathroom Rural views Central heating - incomplete instructions
Very friendly hosts! Great view and a beautyfull place for breakfast. ! The stove should be replaced
Warm welcome of the owner. Beds low for an accessible house. Elderly parents would have been helped with higher beds.
