Will certainly be using this apartment again in the future. excellent location and very smart apartment. well organised arrangements for keys and a very warm welcome.
The nice people in the Lochearnhead Hotel called it the "Upside Down House" because the kitchen and living room were on the top floor, up a spiral staircase. All four bedrooms were clean and spacious. The kitchen was stocked with all the dishes and appliances we needed for our two week stay. The view was absolutely breathtaking on the top floor deck, and also up the hill behind the house on a freestanding wood deck. One of my fondest memories will be watching the meteor shower with my sons up there while looking down over the loch, with a crystal clear sky full of stars overhead. We really lov...more
The wee house is a lovely place to stay, we were made to feel very welcome by Louise. The property is in a beautiful location with lots of amenities close by. We look forward to returning to the Wee house in the future.
We had a lovely long weekend spent here in Killin. Very peaceful beautiful scenery & walks. The house was very clean & comfortable in an excellent location. Would love to return sometime soon. :)
Fantastic stay in a stunning location, log cabin sited on the edge of the falls of Dochart; what more could we want looking out the window every day watching the water flow by. We explored the village, the burial ground and castle ruins; loved that the owners 3 chickens wandered the garden in the day, Jan and Mike were most welcoming and we will certainly be back again for another holiday. See you again
Views second to none , facilities excellent everything had been thought of. Cleaniest cottage we have stayed in ! Will be back again for longer ! So much to do Can’t recommend enough
We enjoyed our stay with walks in the area and travel to many historical places. Then the nice weather made the stay unforgettable.
We had a fabulous holiday in Annfield cottage the facilities were great and all the local neighbours talked to us. The weather was also very kind with UN-broken sunshine the whole week. The local facilities were also very good and we would recommend the Crags Hotel (The food was great). We hope to re-visit the cottage sometime in the future. Thank you.
2nd New Year we,ve spent in the cottage and it certainly lived up to all our expectations once again
We spent 10 great days at Leitters Cottage. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. The toilet brushes could be exchanged, they were dirty. Everything else was perfect.
Edinample Lodge is quite simply a stunning cottage in a stunning location. It's the perfect escape, situated at the edge of a single track road amidst rolling hills and nestled between the loch and the river. The cottage is of exceptionally high quality and spotlessly clean. We have absolutely loved our stay here and very sad to leave. We parked up the car when we arrived and except for a short trip to the shop for milk we didn't use the car at all. Big comfortable bed, beautiful bathrooms and lovely cosy lounge with log fire. The kitchen is very well equipped and has everything you need...more
Just back from an amazing weekend at this fabulous house.Everything you could ask for in the house,so well equipped!!Great house, great location-will definitely be back
We've had a very traumatic few months and wanted some peace and quiet from the chaos. The Doocot is perfect in every way. Equipped with everything you need. (Hilary's homemade Damson Wine was to die for !) Really friendly owners and the friendly villagers. Great food at The Kirkstyle Inn and The Dunning Hotel which is only a short walk. We will definitely recommend to friends and family. We will proably come back nex time in summer and just laze about on the deck. Only downpoint, it needs 2 comfortable 2 seater sofas. The seating was very uncomfortable. (sorry Hilary)
We enjoyed our stay very much. The kitchen has a great cooker which we used a couple of times. The beds were very comfortable and adequate storage space for clothes etc. The house is in a central location so it was easy to get around.
Bedrooms lovely decorated, beds comfy. Good location next too all facilities pubs, butchers, shops etc. Nice big cooker and spacious kitchen.
We had a wonderful holiday at Tominour - the house was relaxing, comfortable and very well equipped for a week long stay. We love the village of Comrie and it's a great base for family cycling, walking and exploring. We'll definitely use this house again for a future holiday.
the location is perfect for water sports and for visiting south scotland, situated at one hour from glasgow, edimburgh, east and west coast. the cottage is perfect in everithing
A big thank you to Cooper Cottages for providing such wonderful accommodation and such beautiful weather :) I found the cottage to be spotlessly clean on arrival, very homely, furnished to a high standard and very well-equipped; in my experience typical of the properties offered by Cooper Cottages (I've also stayed at View Cottage and Fern Cottage previously). I would have no hesitation in recommending The Old Schoolhouse to anyone and am myself looking forward to a return visit, hopefully later on this year.
This was a return visit to Fern cottage and Killin village, as we had stayed here for new year/Hogmanay two years ago, and as usual we had a wonderful, restful holiday there. This is a superb cottage in a great location and as usual met all our expectations. Very neat and well- presented, the cottage was comfortably furnished throughout and had a nice cosy feeling. It was suitably warm, as is needed during the winter season and it was great to know that we had a lovely relaxing place to return to at the end of each day of travelling around. Fern cottage has a great location just a short distan...more
A very clean and cosy cottage, perfect for exploring Perthshire, owners extremely helpful and just the right size for two.
Cottage central to the village and its amenities, well resourced and warm. Lots of local tourist information and walks. Very welcoming and look forward to coming back for a longer stay.
The house was so cosy on our arrival. Emma the owner met us st the house and made us feel so welcome. Everything we needed was there . Beds very cosy. Would recommend this house for a visit
I am just home after spending a fabulous 4 nights at Aberturret Cottage with my children and dogs. The owner Lucinda was very helpful on the lead up to my stay, and although she wasn't around during my stay she made sure I was fully up to date with information and advice should I need to contact someone. There was also an abundance of helpful notes and leaflets left within the cottage (and some yummy lemon drizzle cake - thank you). The cottage provided us with everything that we needed, it was very comfortable and relaxing and in the ideal location - Crieff and Comrie both within easy reach. ...more
My family and I had an amazing stay at the Old Bakery. The property was exactly as advertised, it was clean and very comfortable. There were 6 people in our party and the house was perfect. The village of Killin was beautiful and had all the amenities that we needed. I would highly recommend this property!
This is a lovely period cottage, and overall we really enjoyed our stay. Could do with a TV in the main living room or more comfortable seating options in the upstairs landing for watching TV of an evening. There are major drafts coming through the front doors and with a little jacket hanging as make-shift draft-excluders - it was fine. Downstairs double bed not very comfortable, however upstairs main bedroom is lovely and bright and the bed very comfortable. Great selection of books to read - if that is your thing and lots of pictures and ornaments on display, although my kids found some ...more
Wonderful central place, close to all amenities and lovely views. Well set up apartment. Great for our family with two teenagers.
Amazing atmosphere. Lovely location. Very clean and well equipped! Only bad thing was that there is no shop anywhere near. Closest one is within 10km. So consider bringing more food with you.
Lovely cottage, well equipped and clean. The conservatory made a real difference being able to take in the views even if the weather was poor. excellent location for walking with a cycle route in the village heading north and south.
We had a lovely time in Lochearnhead. The house couldn’t really be in a better location, and with the exception of food and drink, everything we needed was provided (towels, dishwasher tablets, etc.). The master bedroom is straight out of a James Bond movie! Amazing place!
We had a lovely time. The cottage is comfortable, clean and well equipped. The hosts are very kind and helpful.
A lovely week at Ruggles cottage. So many extras in the kitchen it was like home from home. No need to be cold as plenty of wood for the fire and if that wasn’t enough there was also central heating. Beautiful area and lovely walks from the cottage. Only downside for us we booked from advert for 4 bedrooms and on arrival owner said she kept bunk bedroom for private use. As there were 6 of us we doubled up and managed but had we known this we could have booked a 3 bedroom cottage for less.
The house was clean a nd provided all basic necessities. It was unfortunately very cold and we limited the heating due to the guideline on the visitor’s book.
Warm welcome of the owner. Beds low for an accessible house. Elderly parents would have been helped with higher beds.
