Bruach is a lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Really well equipped and spotlessly clean. We had a great week exploring the area and were lucky enough to be there for the Killin Highland Games. Wonderful swims in Loch Voil too!
We were greeted by the cottage owner Tommy, and given a tour. The ground floor cottage/flat is delightful, we felt at home straight away. Everything you could possibly need is provided, including a some lovely welcome goodies. Located in a small village with a brilliant village shop and also a coffee shop. We thoroughly recommend this lovely property in a peaceful setting.
Third stay here .The outside areas could do with a tidy up of the gardens, but overall was ok Killin is a lovely little village with plenty of places to eat and drink.
The Haven is a lovely house in a stunning location (we fell in love with St Fillans when we first visited a few years back). The house has everything you would need for your stay. The rooms are spacious & comfortable. I love the layout of the Haven (perfect with us having the dog & getting up early to walk him without disturbing others). Wonderful walks in the area. The Loch is only a few mins walk. I have no hesitation in recommending & hope to return again.
The property was very spacious, well equipped and spotlessly clean. The communications from our initial enquiry to our departure were excellent, as provided by Cooper Cottages, aided by the ‘e-booklet’ which was a helpful guide to the property. The first week of May provided amazing weather with not a drop of rain and abundant sunshine. Well situated for mountain walking and also lower level walks. A very peaceful location, hopefully we will return.
Perfect size cottage for the 3 / 4 guests with two large bathrooms. Easy to find in a beautiful location to travel north, west or east for the mountains and south for the cities. Warm cosie cottage with lots of space. Friendly neighbour and groundsman. Driveway is quite steep so be carful if you have a low car.
I know the area really well having been a coach touring driver but my family loved the views . Just a pity the rain didn't allow us to take advantage of outside seating areas. House was really well equipped with everything necessary for cooking etc..kitchen knives could do with sharpening as preparing vegetables was bit of a chore. Lounge area big and comfortable but one settee beginning to sag a bit but no real problem. Plenty bathrooms (3) so no rushing to beat the shower queue in morning. Only downside was that the 2 doubles up the stairs had poor uncomfortable mattresses and need renewi...more
Wonderful stay here. Perfect house in every way. Grant from cooper cottages was very helpful, quick with responses and super easy to book through. Would recommend cooper cottages for sure !
We booked Ruchearn as we wanted to stop in the village for a concert we were attending. The directions to the property were easy to follow and although there is no parking on site there is a car park close by. The property is very nicely furnished and the kitchen had all the facilities we required. It is in a convenient location in the village for ease of access to the shops. It was also conveniently situated for several walks that one of us went on. We had a very enjoyable stay at Ruchearn for the week.
You could not wish for a finer setting in Scotland. Fantastic views and wildlife very comfortable . Very well equipped.
Comrie is a beautiful village. Stunning scenery. Lots of walks and golf courses around the area. .Lots going on during Comrie fortnight
Amazing stay, didn’t want to leave. Would highly recommend and will certainly be back. My little dog also loved it
Generally very happy with the experience. Splendid central location. Good quality cottage and we shall certainly consider returning in the future.
Set in a beautiful location on Loch Earn, View cottage is within the boundaries of the village of Lochearnhead, always charming to be in such a village and take a wander of an evening to get to know the place and the folks who call the place home. From the peacefulness of the cottage, many many destinations lie in all directions to a plethora of castles, monuments and historical significant landmark locations. The cottage itself is traditionally Scottish in character and charm, and with a beautiful modern sunrise porch space to the east. The garden is divine both in the morning and the evening...more
We love the house, location, activities in the area etc. We'll be back yet again in a few months time.
Was booked very last minute .Plenty of places to visit ( you need a car) although there is also a bus stop close by.We didn't mind been so close to the main road but you need to be careful when try to park in the drive. We drove to Callander to stock up on supplies but used the local hotel for popping in for a drink.
A delightfully cosy house, which had everything we needed. Surrounded by beautiful countryside and shops nearby.
lovely place to stay, near all amenities, very homey, but the couches are to low down to sit on esp. for us elderly
Faults reported two years ago have not been remedied. Loose toilet seat. Inadequate supply of cutlery. Kitchen bin broken. Toilet brush revolting. No bowls of suitable size for eg strawberries. At first sight cleaning looked fine. This did not extend to the less visible areas (inside of bedroom cupboard). Inside of windows on door were filthy. Sticky finger marks of outside of top window above veranda. Sticky mess on outside table. 2 rings on cooker dirty - one so bad that it left foul mess on bottom of saucepan when used without problem being noticed. Hairs left in bath. Compost bin left outs...more
