Fantastic home, we've stayed in over 35 cottages all around scotland in the last 8 years, this has to be 1 of the best, from walking in to the kitchen into a spacious lounge more then big enough even with 2 German shepherd's. Beds are comfy kitchen very well equipped garden is great.
We were greeted by the cottage owner Tommy, and given a tour. The ground floor cottage/flat is delightful, we felt at home straight away. Everything you could possibly need is provided, including a some lovely welcome goodies. Located in a small village with a brilliant village shop and also a coffee shop. We thoroughly recommend this lovely property in a peaceful setting.
The Coach House is a comfortable, well equipped house in the quiet village of St Fillans. The beds were comfortable, there was a log burner for the cooler evenings and electric heating throughout. There's a big enclosed garden which our dog thoroughly enjoyed, and a covered area where you can store kayaks, etc. It sits right on Loch Earn with its own private area of loch side land which is perfect for those, like us, with kayaks and SUPs. You just need to cross the road - which fortunately isn't that busy for an A road - to get on the loch side. One thing which caught us out is the pri...more
Brodie Cottage was an excellent match for needs. Spacious, very clean and tidy with all mod cons provided for a comfortable 8 day stay in Killin. We particularly liked the well equipped kitchen as we are keen cooks. There's a well stocked supermarket just 10 minutes walk down the road and a range of cafes and restaurants in the village.
The Haven is a lovely house in a stunning location (we fell in love with St Fillans when we first visited a few years back). The house has everything you would need for your stay. The rooms are spacious & comfortable. I love the layout of the Haven (perfect with us having the dog & getting up early to walk him without disturbing others). Wonderful walks in the area. The Loch is only a few mins walk. I have no hesitation in recommending & hope to return again.
My family stayed in this lovely lodge and we had fantastic time. The lodge is brand new and we found a book full of great recommendations to discover and enjoy the areas.
I know the area really well having been a coach touring driver but my family loved the views . Just a pity the rain didn't allow us to take advantage of outside seating areas. House was really well equipped with everything necessary for cooking etc..kitchen knives could do with sharpening as preparing vegetables was bit of a chore. Lounge area big and comfortable but one settee beginning to sag a bit but no real problem. Plenty bathrooms (3) so no rushing to beat the shower queue in morning. Only downside was that the 2 doubles up the stairs had poor uncomfortable mattresses and need renewi...more
Lovely spacious house very close to the Falls of Dochert bridge. Great kitchen and utility. Comfortable beds. Highly recommended.

We booked Ruchearn as we wanted to stop in the village for a concert we were attending. The directions to the property were easy to follow and although there is no parking on site there is a car park close by. The property is very nicely furnished and the kitchen had all the facilities we required. It is in a convenient location in the village for ease of access to the shops. It was also conveniently situated for several walks that one of us went on. We had a very enjoyable stay at Ruchearn for the week.
You could not wish for a finer setting in Scotland. Fantastic views and wildlife very comfortable . Very well equipped.
Our second time at Tomanour. This house has so much going for it. Excellent kitted out kitchen and cosy tasteful furnishing throughout. Dog friendly (so all the family can come) with a large spacious garden with a sun trap for the patio table and chairs. 10 minute walk and you're in the centre of the lively little village. Excellent grocery, butcher and mini supermarket. Local walks aplenty means we often don't use the car for days. Loch Earn 15 mins drive and the incredible Loch Turret reservoir 30 mins away above Creiff. If you visit you MUST try Diel's Cauldron restaurant in Comrie. Top not...more
Si much natural beauty I could not stop looking out if the windows it sitting on the porch. Also a short walk to get to the loch and have a swim! Loved it
After staying at Fire Station Cottage in March this year, we had no hesitation in rebooking for our recent stay. It was like coming home!
Excellent little warm and cosy cottage in a great location for 'Munro Bagging. Super for 2 individual people with 2 bathrooms and separate bedrooms and all amenities you could ask for
Set in a beautiful location on Loch Earn, View cottage is within the boundaries of the village of Lochearnhead, always charming to be in such a village and take a wander of an evening to get to know the place and the folks who call the place home. From the peacefulness of the cottage, many many destinations lie in all directions to a plethora of castles, monuments and historical significant landmark locations. The cottage itself is traditionally Scottish in character and charm, and with a beautiful modern sunrise porch space to the east. The garden is divine both in the morning and the evening...more
We love the house, location, activities in the area etc. We'll be back yet again in a few months time.
A very comfortable well laid out family cottage right in the heart of the village but quiet with its own lovely garden. Very clean with a well equipped kitchen. Happy to recommend for a good getaway to explore the area.
lovely place to stay, near all amenities, very homey, but the couches are to low down to sit on esp. for us elderly
Faults reported two years ago have not been remedied. Loose toilet seat. Inadequate supply of cutlery. Kitchen bin broken. Toilet brush revolting. No bowls of suitable size for eg strawberries. At first sight cleaning looked fine. This did not extend to the less visible areas (inside of bedroom cupboard). Inside of windows on door were filthy. Sticky finger marks of outside of top window above veranda. Sticky mess on outside table. 2 rings on cooker dirty - one so bad that it left foul mess on bottom of saucepan when used without problem being noticed. Hairs left in bath. Compost bin left outs...more
