A stunning cosy cottage that is brilliantly situated for exploring Scotland. We did day trips to Stirling, Pitlochry and Glencoe using this as a centre point. It’s thoughtfully decorated and well-equipped (we cooked a full Christmas dinner in the kitchen). There are walks from the gorgeous garden, past what feels like your private waterfall, and up into the forest for some scenic views of valleys and lochs. We simply did not want to leave.
We were greeted by the cottage owner Tommy, and given a tour. The ground floor cottage/flat is delightful, we felt at home straight away. Everything you could possibly need is provided, including a some lovely welcome goodies. Located in a small village with a brilliant village shop and also a coffee shop. We thoroughly recommend this lovely property in a peaceful setting.
The Coach House is a comfortable, well equipped house in the quiet village of St Fillans. The beds were comfortable, there was a log burner for the cooler evenings and electric heating throughout. There's a big enclosed garden which our dog thoroughly enjoyed, and a covered area where you can store kayaks, etc. It sits right on Loch Earn with its own private area of loch side land which is perfect for those, like us, with kayaks and SUPs. You just need to cross the road - which fortunately isn't that busy for an A road - to get on the loch side. One thing which caught us out is the pri...more
Brodie Cottage was an excellent match for needs. Spacious, very clean and tidy with all mod cons provided for a comfortable 8 day stay in Killin. We particularly liked the well equipped kitchen as we are keen cooks. There's a well stocked supermarket just 10 minutes walk down the road and a range of cafes and restaurants in the village.
Lovely little place, perfect for a family of 4. It has everything you need in the house. Walking distance to the local shop and some very nice walks from the house.
Excellent accommodation. Very comfortable with good location in Killin. Couple of lights bulbs out but nothing worth worrying about.
My family stayed in this lovely lodge and we had fantastic time. The lodge is brand new and we found a book full of great recommendations to discover and enjoy the areas.
We had a wonderful stay, cottage excellent location, well equipped and very cosy. We ate at the River Inn, which I would also highly recommend. Weather wasn’t great but staying in such a lovely cottage made staying indoors a pleasure.
We booked Ruchearn as we wanted to stop in the village for a concert we were attending. The directions to the property were easy to follow and although there is no parking on site there is a car park close by. The property is very nicely furnished and the kitchen had all the facilities we required. It is in a convenient location in the village for ease of access to the shops. It was also conveniently situated for several walks that one of us went on. We had a very enjoyable stay at Ruchearn for the week.
You could not wish for a finer setting in Scotland. Fantastic views and wildlife very comfortable . Very well equipped.
The Haven is a very cozy homely cottage. The rooms are spacious the beds were comfy. The kitchen was well equipped .Plenty of room for 8 ( three generations) and 2 dogs. We love coming to st fillans its so beautiful, lots of walking and deer spotting. We even saw red squirrels. A slight niggle was the TV needs to be bigger for all to enjoy together as you can't see it very well on the back sofa. Some were brave enough to go wild swimming and enjoyed the kayak in the Loch.
Tomanour is a lovely, charming cottage. It is very comfortable and well equipped, conveniently located, and attractively decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This house has fantastic views over Loch Earn and the mountains beyond. It is in a good position in Lochearnhead to be able to walk to the village facilities. There are lots of lovely walks nearby too. The house is spacious and light but is a bit tired. It makes a good base for touring.
Si much natural beauty I could not stop looking out if the windows it sitting on the porch. Also a short walk to get to the loch and have a swim! Loved it
We had a lovely few days at Fire Station Cottage. Comfortable beds, clean house and a perfect location in the village. Having the parking space was a bonus. With lots of lovely country walks from the door, we never moved the car. Great wee chippy two doors down. The Royal hotel, just around the corner, was lovely for meals. We would be happy to return.
Lovely stay. Cottage is very warm, cosy, private and peaceful. Surrounded by mature garden set in forest edge location. Stunning surroundings
Excellent little warm and cosy cottage in a great location for 'Munro Bagging. Super for 2 individual people with 2 bathrooms and separate bedrooms and all amenities you could ask for
Interesting apartment with a lovely view at the back, wood burning stove, and in the middle of Comrie village.
This is a very nice property in a great location. It has four bedrooms, two set up as en-suites and two on their own with a shared bathroom. Note that this bathroom does not have a shower, just a bath-tub. There is also a W.C. on the ground floor. There is a beautiful sitting area/library at the top of the stairs, a dining area downstairs, and a spacious living room. I have stayed there several times and will return again. It has a walled garden/yard and a rec-room with ping-pong table. Would suit a family with kids, especially those interested in outdoor life with many great walks just outs...more
lovely place to stay, near all amenities, very homey, but the couches are to low down to sit on esp. for us elderly
We really enjoyed staying at the cottage. The booking was made easy and very friendly communication. The cottage itself was really comfortable and in a fantastic location. Having access to a sauna was a real treat and we were glad to give it a go. The garden and surroundings is really big and our dog (Hoggy) loved running around. The loch is a short walk away and is very peaceful. All in all a great time and location, plenty of walks and areas to explore and see. Thank you! James, Flo and Hoggy
