We stayed at The Mill House for 3 nights over a bank holiday weekend and had a wonderful time. We had a wonderful welcome and had absolutely everything we needed and more besides! We had a 14 YO, 3.5YO, 18Mo, 7MO and 2MO with us. We made use of the travel cots and highchair and the older kids loved the play barn and climbing set. The Hot Tub and sauna was very popular with everyone and collecting eggs from the hens was a treat that the kids (and grown ups!) really enjoyed. The local area is lovely and we enjoyed a walk to the Stiper Stones on the Saturday and explored the Deer par...more
We had a very pleasant stay at the Granary the staff were helpful and we had no problems at all. Didn't get around to using the hot tub.
The house was beautifully converted and we had a great stay. The kids loved the animals and the play equipment. Thanks.
Visited for 3rd time with family and they loved the jacuzzi and the play barn. Also found the experience of collecting freshly laid eggs a treat. Good to meet Millie again - she is always so friendly. Thank you.
From the warm welcome from the owners to the sad goodbye there was nothing to fault about our experience. 3 generations of my family stayed in the Sheep Shed and everything was perfect. The hot tub was used almost every day, as was the sauna. We adopted 2 cats and Millie the dog for the week and made sure the fish were well fed. The cottage was everything we expected, and more!!! The pool table was well used too. The beds were comfortable and the little touches were outstanding- milk on arrival, tea, coffee and sugar provided, as well as a pack of Shrewsbury biscuits. More equipment ...more
Booked this property because of location and hot tub, very happy with the choice we made as both are excellent. Cottage is lovely and we were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived. Facilities on site are great and would really benefit families or groups. The one and only thing that wasn’t great was the mattress on the bed which I found uncomfortable but do appreciate that can be subjective.
