New tents which are very comfy with beautiful views. It is possible to walk into West Meon to the pub, cafe and village store and butchers. Or you can walk up to Winchester Hill and down to the Meon Springs Fly Fishery where the lodge serves drinks. The disused railway line is perfect for those who have bikes. Wonderful stay.
We stayed here for 2 nights (4 adults, 2 kids). We all really enjoyed our stay, and wished we had booked for longer!
The pre arrival details were spot on and we had no issues or delays in our arrival and entering the safari tent. The beds were very comfortable with lovely bedding.
The wood burner is lovely in the evenings for keeping the tent cosy & there are ample blankets & hot water bottles available should you feel a chill. Our kids (4 & 6) loved the 'den' under the bed.

We certainly had a stay to remember. 45mph winds and torrential rain. Suffice to say nobody slept and the tent leaked although not whilst it was actually raining which was odd. Quite a number of things were broken or not working including the fairy lights around the tent. Harry was attentive and came with new lamps as none of those provided were not working or very bright. He also fixed the flue back to the chimney, when it blew apart! A number of chairs were broken, so we took care to not use those!
