There are , walks in the Forest of Dean, The River Wye offers many activities , Go-Ape tree-top adventure, castles, cathedrals but best of all the scenic, peaceful and relaxing countryside.

We received a wonderful welcome to this very quaint cottage which was very well equipped. The welcome basket was exceptionally generous, including freshly baked bread and flapjacks, which were delicious, with lots of other food items. At all times during our stay discreet enquiries were made to ensure that we had everything we needed and nothing was too much. We were given lots of helpful information on local attractions, of which there are many. We very much enjoyed our stay in Cider Cottage.
