Three recently converted 17C barns set within the peaceful and secluded Herefordshire countryside. Offering a comfortable and cosy stay in tranquil and restful surroundings,. Enjoy the views birdsong and clear skies of our unspoilt and forgotten County. Over 12 acres in which to roam and encourage your dog to chase rabbits, and squirrels. We live on the premises and you can start your visit with a basket of homemade local goodies. Our local, The Royal Arms, welcomes children and dogs. There also pubs with views over the river. There are , walks in the Forest of Dean, The River Wye offers many activities , Go-Ape tree-top adventure, castles, cathedrals but best of all the scenic, peaceful and relaxing countryside.
Thatch Cottages are in an idyllic location for those looking for a country retreat. The views are beautiful. Cider Cottage is spacious, well equipped, clean and welcoming. The hosts are very kind and their main aim is for their guests to have an enjoyable experience. The downside for me was that the nearest pub is not within easy walking distance as the roads are single track and not safe for pedestrians.
We stayed for 3 nights in Brambles Barn. The cottage is perfect for 2 couples and very comfortable and well equipped with lots of different spaces for relaxing both inside and out.
The setting is lovely and peaceful and we enjoyed roaming through the orchard and fields beyond. Edward made us all feel very welcome,.
A lovely warm welcome from Edward with good Covid precautions taken. Great location to explore local attractions but far enough away to enjoy the peace and quiet. Amazing views and ideal if you have a dog.
