What a fantastic place to stay ideally located in an idyllic rural setting with views across the valley to die for.
Our super sized lab had full access to everywhere in the 5 acres of garden and loved every minute of his stay.
The accommodation was modern and very comfortable, we wanted for nothing, and will be returning again very soon.
Recently stayed at Brambles Barn on my journey to Wales with my two small dogs, we couldn't have been made more welcome.
The cottage was extremely well equipped and comfortable, I didn't need to ask for a thing.
The location is ideal, the views stunning - especially from the mezzanine lounge.
The owners couldn't do enough to please, allowing the dogs the surrounding fields to play in, off lead, and providing delicious baked goods.
Highly recommended, would definitely stay again.
We chose Valley View because it is both disabled-friendly and dog-friendly, but found this to be an understatement! Every possible effort has been put into designing and providing a ground-floor cottage for wheelchair users with a high standard of comfort. Our Labrador dog really enjoyed being there, having 12 acres of land to explore. The owners were very helpful indeed. The location is off the beaten track, and thus very quiet, and yet easy to drive to the numerous attractions in the Wye Valley and Forest of Dean and beyond. We really enjoyed this short holiday and would like to return again...more
