There are , walks in the Forest of Dean, The River Wye offers many activities , Go-Ape tree-top adventure, castles, cathedrals but best of all the scenic, peaceful and relaxing countryside.
A lovely spot to stay. One or two minor issues such as the bathroom basin does not hold water which makes shaving difficult! Mind your head when using the kitchen sink and also the cooker extractor has protruding edges at head height if you are over about
5' 10". Overall however a good weeks stay.
