We had a lovely weekend at the Capercaillie to celebrate my dad's 80th birthday. The house is clean, with lots of room so that 10 people can be accommodated comfortably. A lot of thought and care has been taken to furnish and equip the house, and the hosts are quick to respond to any queries. All this surrounded in beautiful, quiet countryside.

The Ramsey lodge was beautiful, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. A lovely welcome pack was awaiting us too. The views from here are fantastic with deer a regular visitor. Hot tub was fabulous. Would definitely recommend if your if need of a good chill out.
Had an amazing time at Airhouses, the owner was really helpful with anything we needed. Had a tour of the farm meeting the animals one morning which the kids really enjoyed. Also did the treasure hunt which was a lovely circular walk to Oxton. Hot tub was very big and whole family enjoyed that, especially with some star gazing at night. Not too far from Edinburgh which we drove to one day. Overall was great and can highly recommend. We went with a relaxing stay in mind and that’s exactly what we got and more. Thanks!
My stay at the Lodge was restorative and rejuvenating. The accommodation itself left nothing to be desired - from the thoughtful welcome basket of fruits and treats, to the full kitchen, to the availability of chef-prepared meals or delicious frozen meal options to the comfortable living and bedroom furnishings ... it was a home away from home with all the extras. Any issues were swiftly addressed by the very capable and courteous on-site caretakers. This was a great wee find. Everything you could need was there. The peace and quiet were outstanding. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back in the very near future.
