Five properties set amongst 633 acres of farmland with stunning views to the Lammermuir Hills. Each property has its own outside hot tub, all have ensuite bathrooms.. The Lodge sleeps 2, The Ramsay sleeps 4, The Lamont and The Buchanan both sleep 6 and the Capercaillie sleeps 10. All properties are within walking distance of each other. Many couples enjoy plenty of space so there is a special price for just 2 people in the larger properties. There are lots of walks, treasure trail, puzzle trail, jogging route, woods to explore on the doorstep. The area is renowned for walking, cycling, golf, and fishing. Edinburgh is a half hour away as is the Coast. The Scottish Borders itself has a lot to offer the visitor as well.
Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
We have been coming to Airhouses for almost 10 years and each time its wonderful. We stayed in the Lamont. It is always immaculate and comfortable. We stayed for 16 nights this time and even then wanted to stay longer! Everything was perfect. Our our dog loves coming too and is made to feel so welcome. This year we were lucky to be entertained by Barn Swallows over our lodge. We are already planning our next trip! Thank you so much to Carol, Martin, Damian and Elisabeth for everything.
We were greeted in the house by a fabulous hamper of beautifully curated local items of food and beverages which we really appreciated
Everywhere was clean to a very high standard. Beautiful toiletries in all of the bathrooms
We loved the bbq hut and the hot tub and enjoyed having Tracy along to give us some treatments
The animals were beautiful/fabulous and it was a joy to walk round and feed them every day; sometimes twice a day
Most of all we loved the location, the tranquility and the stars late at night and early morning - simply stunnning
This is a ideal place to stay if you want peace and quiet, comfort and lovely views. Very interesting to look around the animals on the farm and lovely walks around the farm. The hot tub was good too and great night skies for star watching.
We have been coming to Airhouses for many years. It’s abit of luxury, peace and quiet. The Family always go that extra mile.
You feel as if you are miles away from everything on the Farm but you are close to many attractions especially Edinburgh. Plenty of independent shops and lovely places to eat.
We can not wait for our next visit.
We had such an enjoyable fortnights stay in The Lodge. We didn't know this part of Scotland ,and found it to be ideal, attractive walks with our dogs, interspersed with interesting abbeys, and a highlight visit to see The Tapestry of Scotland in Galashiels. If you are interested in craft projects, and or history, I would say it a must see, I thought it was fantastic.
The Lodge itself was perfect for a couple, and in our case 2 medium sized dogs. Very clean and comfortable, with superb views of the Lammamuir Hills, a view I miss!
Damien was very personable and on hand should you need him. All ...more
This was a great wee find. Everything you could need was there. The peace and quiet were outstanding. The owner was so friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back in the very near future.
