Five properties set amongst 633 acres of farmland with stunning views to the Lammermuir Hills. Each property has its own outside hot tub, all have ensuite bathrooms.. The Lodge sleeps 2, The Ramsay sleeps 4, The Lamont and The Buchanan both sleep 6 and the Capercaillie sleeps 10. All properties are within walking distance of each other. Many couples enjoy plenty of space so there is a special price for just 2 people in the larger properties. There are lots of walks, treasure trail, puzzle trail, jogging route, woods to explore on the doorstep. The area is renowned for walking, cycling, golf, and fishing. Edinburgh is a half hour away as is the Coast. The Scottish Borders itself has a lot to offer the visitor as well.
Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
We stayed at Capercaillie with our family for our 40th Wedding Anniversary. It was wonderful. The house was spacious, clean and well specified. We had a BBQ every night in the BBQ hut, a great idea for our unpredictable climate! The hot tub was large and very clean. Our Granddaughter loved the animals and there were lots of safe areas for her to play. Damian was very pleasant and informative, giving us lots of ideas of walks and where to see wildlife. The communication from the owners was excellent. The honesty shop is another great idea. There was no need to go anywhere else, a real benefit a...more
Been at Airhouses a couple of times now. Always excellent and great time for the whole family. The farm shop really is big comfort. And many many thanks again to Damian sending us our forgotten items. Looking Forward to come back at some time. Keep it up!

Entry is via keypad on the main door and the accommodation was impeccably clean, with hand sanitiser dispensers available at the entrance. There are large windows on 2 sides of the lodge and these offer fantastic views over the countryside for miles. All home comforts are catered for i...more
I went to Airhouses with family members, three generations of us.
Whilst the older ones of the party loved it, just chilling and enjoying the "freedom" after enforced lockdown, in beautiful surroundings, with little chance of encountering other people. It was too remote and "boring" for the youngest member of the family. However, that won't stop me from returning for another stay, I'll just leave the youngest one at home!! ( Not alone, of course).
