Five properties set amongst 633 acres of farmland with stunning views to the Lammermuir Hills. Each property has its own outside hot tub, all have ensuite bathrooms.. The Lodge sleeps 2, The Ramsay sleeps 4, The Lamont and The Buchanan both sleep 6 and the Capercaillie sleeps 10. All properties are within walking distance of each other. Many couples enjoy plenty of space so there is a special price for just 2 people in the larger properties. There are lots of walks, treasure trail, puzzle trail, jogging route, woods to explore on the doorstep. The area is renowned for walking, cycling, golf, and fishing. Edinburgh is a half hour away as is the Coast. The Scottish Borders itself has a lot to offer the visitor as well.
Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
The Capercaillie is a beautiful house, clean, spacious and light. It had everything and more that we needed. The setting on the farm is really lovely and peaceful. So relaxing watching the ponies and admiring the stunning view.
We have visited many lodges that purport to be luxurious, however, this lodge is truly luxurious and more. Everything has been considered and thoroughly thought about to ensure everything possible is done to make ones stay first class. The view is outstanding and the peace and quiet wonderful. The hot tub is outstanding, the best we have ever had and we have used many in the past. I cannot recommend this property highly enough.
This was our second stay at The Ramsay and we were not disappointed, the lodge was a real home from home with all amenities and very clean and comfortable, the hot tub was a real luxury and it has amazing views and wildlife all around. The only negative is that we cannot come back more regularly as it is a long way from home as it would be a great long weekend retreat from busy lives.
