My friends and I had the best stay at the Capercaillie. The house was beautiful and very clean, with spacious rooms and bathrooms. The land the house was on was beautiful with lots to do/see. We felt the customer service was excellent. We’d definitely stay here again for a relaxing holiday!
It's a perfect tranquil setting. We particularly enjoy sitting in the hot tub admiring the view. Comfortable and relaxing for our needs.
Airhouse’s is situated in such a beautiful location and the views from the lodge are stunning. We received a warm welcome from Damien when we arrived at the lodge, which was very nice. The lodge had everything that you could ask for. We booking the Meet & Greet animal experience with Damien which was very interesting, informative and fun getting to know all animals. We had a wonderful weekend and we plan to go back in future.
Just had another fabulous stay with 3 friends at the Buchanan. We had a few visits before Covid, then after a break, we decided to visit again. Thank you Carol and family for the lovely welcome back. The Buchanan is a beautiful property in a stunning location with gorgeous views of the surrounding countryside especially from the hot tub. The house is well equipped, quality bed linens and towels etc and the beds are like sleeping on marshmallows. Everywhere is spotlessly clean. I stayed for a week in The Lodge at Airhouses and couldn’t have picked a nicer place. It is a central location in The Borders from which to do day trips to East Lothian, the coast and throughout the Borders. The owners are very organized, quick to respond and supply excellent information prior to a visit. The Lodge is fantastic; with a beautifully equipped kitchen, large lounge with fabulous views, comfortable king size bed, and a wonderful rainfall shower. Perfect location for attending the sheepdog trial. We had an issue with our lock box on night two. A bit difficult to contact anyone. Clean facility and quiet. Lovely site. A bit tight for two but that was expected.
