As always the Retreat Cabin did not disappoint. The views are second to none. It is so peaceful and quiet. Hot tub is huge and the sauna is great and the added bonus of the Cinema Room is just perfect. Plenty to see and do around Pitlochry if you want or its just blissful to sit outside with a book and chill. Laura & Jamie are on hand if you need help with anything. Booked up already for 2026.
We stayed for a weekend (2 nights) and was fantastic. Could have easily stayed longer. Lodge is comfortable, clean, well equipped. Outside space was just perfect for us and our Labrador Cally who simply had the best time. Views are stunning!!! We had some amazing sunsets. We will be back as soon as we can.
We really liked the accommodation - carpeted throughout with an excellent shower and bathroom. Bed very comfortable. Views from the lounge and patio decking were stunning and the hot tub easy to use and relaxing after a long day in the hills. Easy access to the town by car with a multitude of walks easily accessible and well marked. Warm welcome from our hosts who were readily available throughout our stay has we needed them. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or stay there again.

2nd time here in the same lodge exactly as we remembered from last year quiet and peaceful location with stunning views of the mountains ⛰️ hot tub fantastic even in the rain let down by local taxis to get to and from pitlochry not the fault of jamie and laura who could not do enough for you they don't live inside but only a phone call away and if you have any questions or requests they respond immediately, lit's about 35 min walk and all uphill on the way back moulin inn about 15 min walk which is nice ifcyoy want a relaxing break not sure you would find anywhere better well done jamie and ...more
The hot tub and starry nights were magic. The wood stove made the cottage as cozy as could be. The beds were comfortable. The place was immaculate and the kitchen well appointed. We really enjoyed our stay and would do it again given the chance!!
