We came to stay in Heather view to celebrate my husbands special Birthday .It was everything we could have wished for, very comfortable accommodation in a beautiful location . We were made very welcome by the owners. The accommodation was very family friendly, with a great selection of toys for the children to play with. One evening we had a meal made by Lillies food, which was also excellent and saved us cooking a special meal, which made it very relaxed.A perfect stay, thank you!
Stunning views, beautiful barn and gorgeous terrace. Perfect location for not just the moors - there’s lots of sights to see - beautiful gardens, stately homes, wonderful ruins and, of course, it’s in easy reach of the coast. The barn itself has everything you need for a perfect holiday and the hosts are friendly and helpful but never intrusive. If you thinking of booking the barn - do it - you won’t regret it!
We had a lovely week at Dale View Barn. The owner - Liz and Danny had thought of everything and gave us a wonderful welcome. The views are spectacular and the location is only a short drive to many seaside villages - Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes, Sandsend - and also to places like Helmsley, Kirby Moorside. We visited with our son and daughter in law and our little granddaughter Freya (23 months) who loved choosing some toys from Liz’ toy store and running about in the meadow. All in all a great September break and we hope to return sometime in the future.
