We loved Beacon View Barn and Liz and Danny were delightful hosts from start to finish. The barn has been thoughtfully and beautifully renovated to the highest standards (flagstones and underfloor heating was a revelatory experience!) and the outdoor spaces are equally carefully and stylishly curated. And lovely toiletries and fluffy towels give it that luxury boutique hotel vibe. Our dog was equally well catered for with fluffy towels and not one, but two beds (both of which he enjoyed!). Thank you for a wonderful stay.
We had a lovely week at Dale View Barn. The owner - Liz and Danny had thought of everything and gave us a wonderful welcome. The views are spectacular and the location is only a short drive to many seaside villages - Whitby, Robin Hoods Bay, Staithes, Sandsend - and also to places like Helmsley, Kirby Moorside. We visited with our son and daughter in law and our little granddaughter Freya (23 months) who loved choosing some toys from Liz’ toy store and running about in the meadow. All in all a great September break and we hope to return sometime in the future.
