Another fabulous week at the cottage. We decided to go for the 3 bedroom this time and we are so pleased that we did. The sun on the balcony made breakfast and evening drinks even more enjoyable. We went with another family and thoroughly took advantage of building a fire in the paddock to watch the sun set and staying late into the night for drinks and smores. Thank you to Emma for being so welcoming.

We have just returned from a wonderful few days at Cwm Connell Coastal cottages. We stayed in the largest cottage on site - Bron Y Felin- which was a lovely property and extremely well-equipped with everything we needed for our holiday. The additional touches on arrival (fresh-cut flowers, bread and the most delicious honey butter) were a lovely gesture and made us feel very much at home! And not forgetting all the treats for our dog and the thoughtful provision of dog blankets, bowls and a collar tag - definitely one of the most dog friendly cottages we have stayed in!
The cottages are based in the most peaceful of settings , with incredible views down to the coast. Our dog Monty loved the secure dog-paddock which was just a short walk from the door and which was also a lovely spot to watch the sun-set in the evening. We also enjoyed a couple of trips to the hot tub which each cottage has access to for an hour each day.
We were very lucky to have lovely weather on our holiday and took advantage of visiting many of the outstanding beaches in the area - the closest being Ceibwr bay - accessible via an easy (and very pleasant) walk through woodland from the cottage. Poppit Sands and Newport Sands are also a short drive away - and both lovely dog-friendly beaches. Overall we had a brilliant family holiday and Cwm Connell really is the loveliest of places to stay. Emma the owner was extremely friendly and helpful and always happy to answer our questions. We will definitely return and hopefully stay for longer next time!

On arrival we were greeted by Emma. She was a fabulous host. We were very impressed with the cottage. Spacious and tranquil. The dog paddock was such a great addition to the location. My French Bulldogs had hours of fun there. As they did on Poppit sands. There were quite alot of cellar spiders on arrival. We soon cleared the space of those. I hate those blooming things. The clear skies at night were impressive. As were the bats. If you're after a quiet cottage away from all the hassle and bustle. This is for you. Not to far of a drive to any eateries. Thanks for looking after us.

Very welcome for dogs. It is in the details like the Connell dog tag being provided should our dog get lost. Treats for the dog. And a paddock so the dog could run free. Direct access to the Coast path from the lodge, especially up North it is quite nice.

If you require a quiet location for your break then this is the place with lots of walks in the area, yet still within a short car journey of bars and places to eat.

An excellent stay with friends. The whole experience was superb from top notch high quality accommodation, helpful knowledgeable hosts and great catering. Not always easy to cater to everyone’s needs when a large group - 24 in this case- but absolutely all bases were covered.

My third stay at Cwm Connell, each time in a different cottage. They are all superb! Extremely comfortable, beautiful and lovely to be able to sit outside in the sunshine this time too. Alex guided us through another weekend of restorative and energising yoga both outside overlooking the sea and in the studio, and Emma showed us the cold swimming in Ceibwr Bay and Poppit Sands. Still so much to explore with walks and different beaches, and will be planning another stay later in the year.

We have visited Cwm Connell for a number of years and have enjoyed our visit every time. The accommodation is beautiful and well maintained. The hot tub is fantastic and the dog friendly nature of the accommodation is fantastic. The owners Emma and Alex are friendly, welcoming and happy to share ideas for things to do.

Bron Y Felin is a stunning holiday cottage in the most stunning part of coastal West Wales. The cottage is so well appointed with everything you will need from fast wifi, a woodburning stove, fresh crisp linen and towels and its all been beautifully interior designed. It is absolutely spotlessly clean. Your only worry will be, will we want to leave it! You receive a welcome pack with home-made bread, freshly ground coffee, local butter and milk etc.. The owners go that extra mile and make sure you have a wonderful stay and all needs catered for. The walks and beaches nearby are absolutely second to none. Its a magical spot and you will come back refreshed and rejuvenated.

Wonderful dog-friendly getaway. Appreciated the extra touches like bread and milk supplied on arrival and the doggie treats, blankets and towels.
