Jane and Jeremy were fabulous hosts, great communication from booking to the end of our stay.
The cottage was so welcoming, spotlessly clean, cosy and warm. It had absolutely everything you should need for a self catering stay and extra!
A lovely welcome fire, flowers and cream tea.
The bed was comfortable and all linen was spotlessly clean and good quality.
I could not recommend this holiday stay more.would go back in a heart beat.

An ideal place for us, close to family and event venue but providing us with our own space to relax in as well. Lovely welcome from owner Jane as we arrived.
Ideal big bedroom and en-suite on ground floor, so easy for suitcases not to have to go upstairs. and the open plan living area with everything we needed provided - including a welcome cream tea.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and I'm sure we will book again!



Lovely stay home from home every thing you could want and more.

A quiet spot, just right for relaxing. The hosts Jane and Jeremy live on site. They are very welcoming and always on hand should you need anything. There a four, one bedroom cottages to stay in. Our cottage, the Corn loft, was extremely clean and cozy. The bedroom and bathroom is of this cottage on the ground floor and the living area is upstairs. You have great views from upstairs across the valley and the old barn steps (exterior) lead to a private patio and garden area. Pretty much everything you will need is provided, including towels t-towels, dish cloths, cleaning detergent and a very welcoming cream tea! There is a dedicated parking space for each cottage and the farm is accessed via a private drive. You really are tucked away but within easy driving distance of all the exciting places to visit in this part of Cornwall. Hubby and I will definitely be returning and can't recommend this little gem in the Cornish countryside enough.

The cottage was perfectly situated to visit many of Cornwall's attractions and the owners were fantastic at suggesting sites to see and things to do. Only downside was there wasn't a good pub in the local vicinity that wasn't fully booked or open but that's not their fault. The standard of the renovation to the cottage was fantastic and it was a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you

Great holiday. The Cornloft was comfortable and conveniently placed. It had all we needed to enhance a nice holiday. Jane and Jeremy were always on hand for information and advice.

Very friendly helpful hosts. Lovely quiet peaceful rural location ideally situated. We stayed in the Corn loft which had a seating area to the front and back of the accommodation outside. We enjoyed staying here.
Kitchen layout is a little awkward and no dishwasher. However we found everything we needed. Extra freezer and laundry room useful.
Bed perfect for my partner but a little on the hard side for me.
The bedroom would really benefit from black out blinds/curtains.
Altogether we enjoyed staying here and would recommend to others.

Our first time staying here and hopefully not the last. The inviting driveway gives way to your designated parking space and the outside look of the cottage is charming and well presented. Inside we were very happy with the space and facilities. The new king size bed gave us a great night's sleep every night and the new bathroom is brilliant, the large walk-in rainfall shower was excellent! Upstairs, the living area has the rustic charm and beautiful beamed ceiling we hoped for with plenty of room again and everything we need for our stay. The back door with steps down has a great view over the fields of sheep close by and cattle further away. We loved the welcome cream tea, cider and fresh flowers and also nice to have antibacterial hand soap and hand gel provided in these times we find ourselves in. Jane and Jeremy were very welcoming but not intrusive at all during our stay, the perfect hosts for us. Should also mention the TV signal was good, not usually high up on the important list but we had some shocking weather and there were 2 England football matches we couldn't miss! Also the free Wifi had a stable connection and a decent speed. If you want a central base for exploring Cornwall but with the peaceful location to relax in, then look no further.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in this peaceful ,quiet accommodation which is ideally , centrally located for access to numerous parts of Cornwall.We immediately felt relaxed.The accommodation was spotlessly clean , very cosy and well equipped.Having outside comfortable seating enabled us to sit out and have a drink at night time
Jane and Jeremy are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them.Having washing and drying facilities was a great bonus.The cream tea on arrival and the fresh flowers were lovely touches.We would absolutely love to go back as one week was just not enough time to see all that the area has to offer and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Higher Carthew Farm

We had a lovely stay at the Corn Loft. The cottage is lovely and has everything we needed for our stay. It’s very central which means places are easy to get too. It is very quiet and a lovely place to chill out. Jane and Jeremy are very accommodating and helpful. It’s great to know they are on hand if you need them. Honesty box for eggs, cider and ale which is a nice touch. Also DVD’s and books to use while your there if the weather isn’t good. Will definitely book again.
