We love the West Coast of Scotland and this is one of our favourite places to stay. The caravans are beautifully located and are well maintained and clean. From Creagan both Oban and Fort William are accessible as is Lismore and Ardnamurchan (via the Corran Ferry). Yet chilling out at the caravan, sat right by the Loch is as enjoyable as going further afield.
My wife and I are part of a group who stay at Appin Holiday Homes at least once a year and have done for some years now. The lodge we stayed in this time had just been refurbished with a new bathroom fitted. It was spotlessly clean as always and there was everything you could need and it all worked. The view across the loch is spectacular. The location of the site is perfect if you want to go hiking or just walk the dog also Oban and Fort William are within easy reach by car.
We have stayed here before and just love the location over looking at the Loch. The owners are lovely people and they made are holiday stay extra special. This site is a hidden gem and we will be returning shortly.
Was a nice holiday at a beautiful location. If there's anything to improve at all, it's the kitchen equipment (just a frying pan, dull knives). But thats secondary.
Fantastic location lovely clean caravan bed comfortable not too far to walk from car would recommend very helpful owners
We really enjoyed our stay at Rowan Lodge. The lodge has everything you need and great facilities, and a fabulous outlook. We used it as a base to have a meal at the Pierhouse at Port Appin, and then next day to travel to Lismore where we hired bikes to explore. Final evening we walked to the Chreagan Inn which was excellent. I hadn't appreciated how many cycle routes there are now in this area. I hope you will really promote that you are directly onto the cycle route network from the properties.
We were traveling from the US and after weeks in "big cities" welcomed the peace and beauty of this rural location -- without sacrificing style, comfort or the tremendous food and company of The Creagan restaurant/pub just down the street. Thank you Appin team for your hospitality (which included a supply delivery made with a smile despite the late hour request.) Your pride in and love of this property and its guests are exceedingly apparent. We will never forget our stay!
An enjoyable stay in a lovely location. Lodge was very comfortable and staff really friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Spent 5 days during Half term and can't recommend Appin Holiday homes enough. Really beautiful location - 30sec walk to the pebbled beach and can't compliment the accommodation enough. Caravan's are simple but effective with everything you need to move in for a few days. All utilities are catered for and services to the caravan function effectively. Everything is clean and tidy, site is really quiet and nicely kept. Fully recommend to anyone considering booking.
Lovely lodge in a beautiful spot, spent 2 nights there and wish we had more time to spend inside the lodge itself. The only flaw what we found was trying to find someone to answer telephones for queries we had before we got there and while we were at the property we struggled to find anyone at reception or their separate property. When we eventually got through to Jim on the phone he was very friendly and was there within 5mins to help with extra bedding. Overall the stay was beautiful I hope to return.
Lovely well kept comfy caravan in an excellent location with superb loch views. Caravans are well spread out allowing privacy. They are well equipped with iron, hairdryer and washing clothes horse which are not normally found in previous accomadation that we have rented. Would return again.
This ia a lovely caravan but the small bedroom was probably more for 2 children and not another Adult, the bedding could do with being updated just needs tweeked at places eg, toilet seat in main bathroom needs fixed and a small hoover would be great to hoover carpets. The view is excellent and even spotted a deer in the front of the caravan along with various birds and sure we spotted seals. Great for walks and Seil Island is worth a visit as is Kerrera.
Very friendly and helpful family run business. The view over Loch Creran is stunning. We could have done with the weather being a bit kinder
Its exactly as it says, it is a wonderful family business, we were so well looked after, anything we needed the family made sure we got or advised us what or where we could get what we needed. We did mark one with a 4 because the banister on one side was loose coming up to the lodge, but nothing bad about the complex or the lodges.
Brilliant location, lovely site, close to a decent pub and good dog walks. We had a brilliant week and look forward to going back
Not my my first time here. I just love it here, next to the water, relaxing, beautiful views, lots of lovely walks. My parents come here with their touring caravan too! Cannot wait to come back
