Clearfield is a delightful cottage set in the most dreamy location. We have stayed there many many times over the years and it never fails to delight us. It is extremely clean and has an exceptionally well equipped kitchen with everything you could possibly need. We very much appreciated the welcome basket with a bottle of Prosecco - a new addition. I cannot think of anything that needs improving.

The area at the foothills of the Cairngorms offers an abundant choice of outdoor activities and historical exploration; castles and prehistoric stone circles. Clearfield Cottage is up a long track, pass cattle grazing and the odd deer, in a lightly wooded area. Very peaceful and private. The cottage is well outfitted but has old charm; heaters on timers and a fireplace. There are even old stone ruins on site! Although we were only 3 adults it has ample room for the intended 6 as there is a sun room and lounge/TV room away from the dining room and kitchen. We spent a wonderful week here. The Estate office were very helpful.

Have stayed at Clearview for several years now, hopefully will continue to do so. Such a peaceful location, no immediate neighbours apart from wildlife, and a lovely garden to enjoy, weather permitting. It’s a bonus to be able to step out of the door and take a stroll. Ideally situated for exploring Royal Deeside and further afield. If you’re a fisherman excellent beats close by, booking essential.

Clearfield is an annual event for us which we eagerly look forward to. Love the peace and quiet, lovely walks straight out the door.Royal Deeside has lots to offer for exploring.
