The cottage was well equipped and clean. The location is ideal in a peaceful village but only 10 minute stroll to the centre of Stow The outside space with a private paddock was great for the dog. The owners live on site and very friendly and welcoming.

We had a Lovely relaxing few days at Swingletree, the added bonus of the paddock which Tia our yorkie loved. the views from the cottage were beautiful and so tranquil we really didn't want to come home! The owners were very helpful if we needed anything but left you alone to enjoy your time away, Stow was 5 minutes walk and Bourton on the Water was just under 10 mins in the car, there was plenty of information about the surrounding areas left in the cottage for you to browse upon. the cottage itself was very cosy and comfortable and we thank you for the Tea, Coffee, milk ,Biscuits etc, and not forgetting the wonderful chocolates. We will be back.

We have just returned from a 4 night break at Swingletree over Christmas. It was perfect in every way - thank you. The location is brilliant with just a 10 minute walk to the centre of Stow where there are lots of lovely shops, cafes and pubs. We had our two dogs with us and loved the paddock at Swingletree which is totally enclosed so you can let them have a good run about.
Swingletree itself is idyllic and has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Really well equipped kitchen and the log burner was stunning and really made Christmas special. The hosts had even put up a Christmas tree which was lovely - thanks again.
We would definitely return and recommend to others.

We had the perfect stay at Swingletree. The location is outstanding, within a picturesque and quiet hamlet while being a 5min walk to the pubs and shops of Stow on the Wold. With plenty of walks on the doorstep, you don't need your car! Our nervous rescue dog was immediately at home and it was lovely to have use of the paddock to let her play and unwind.

Amazing place , perfect for what we needed with our dogs the paddock made our stay as the dogs could have a safe run any time of day. The cottage was immaculate, and comfortably furnished. We had lovely quiet evenings and the log burner was fab. Perfectly situated a short walk away from the hustle and bustle of Stow, peaceful and quiet was just the relaxing break we needed. Walks right out of the door and lots of Places to eat also. Lovely touches , chocolates, biscuits and treats for the doggies, couldn’t have asked for more thank you so much Tiana and John for letting us stay in your little bit of paradise

The cottage is really comfortable, well equipped and located only 10 minutes amble from Stow on the Wold along a traffic free lane. Its a perfect Cotswold retreat for a couple, with or without dogs. The owners are very welcoming and maintain the property to a high standard. The advance descriptions through the app were so useful for planning and knowing what to expect - very accurate. Views from the patio are stunning - fields as far as you can see. The cottage was lovely and warm, with a great wood burning stove as well which was easy to light. Christmas decorations and the chocolates were unexpected additions which were lovely to see.

This was a short break for me, my partner and our dog, Jessie. We came last December and loved it so much we decided to come back. The property is clean, warm and welcoming with everything you need provided Jessie appreciated her treats and a lovely towel was also provided. A very dog friendly cottage with the added bonus of a secure dog paddock next to the cottage. Our dog really enjoyed running around here and saying hello to the horses!! Well equipped and comfortable cottage and a super location for walking into Stow on the Wold without having to worry about parking. The welcome treats for both us and our dog were very welcome!

We really enjoyed our long weekend at Swingletree. A short walk from the pub and shops, yet so peaceful and relaxing at the cottage. Our mini dachshund had a great time safely enclosed in the walled garden and paddock. The cottage has everything you’d need for your stay and was clean and tidy. Only downside I can think is I’d personally prefer a bigger, softer sofa and bigger TV but having said that we had a lovely time relaxing and visiting Diddly Squat Farm Shop, Arlington Close, Bourton-on-the-water and eating at the many cafes and pubs in Stow. Worth mentioning also that the owners were great - friendly and approachable if we needed them. We’d recommend this cottage x

We absolutely loved our weekend at Swingletree, it's so well equipped with everything you need for a home from home stay. The location is fantastic, it feels quite remote with gorgeous views but just a short walk into Stow for the pub and any essentials. We took our dog with us, and when we read there was a paddock we didn't imagine it was accessed directly from our garden and just for our use, it was absolutely incredible and just perfect for a run around. The dog basket of essentials was a really handy addition. Tania and John were incredibly kind and helped us tremendously when we had some car issues. We already have recommended Swingletree to family and friends and definitely plan to go back!

Swingletree is a beautiful cottage in a lovely hamlet. There is everything you need and it is very cosy and welcoming. We took our border collie, Jessie and she had her own paddock to run around in. John and Tiana were on hand for anything we needed. Only a short walk to Stow and several walks from the door. It really is perfect for us and we hope to go again soon.

As always a very pleasant stay. The cottage is beautiful along with the surroundings. We had a fabulous week. Stow is only a very short walk with lots of pubs & places to eat. At the present time you will need to book reservations in restaurants & pubs. It also has some very quaint shops to explore. Your hosts Tiana & John are always on hand if you needed anything . We had a daily visit from Mog the local cat & Angel the horse is in the field just outside the cottage . If your looking for somewhere to relax , this is definitely the place to come . We loved the little cottage. It was very clean and had everything you could possibly need (even salt n pepper). This is a lovely cottage in a wonderful location on the edge of the town overlooking beautiful Gloucestershire countryside in very easy walking distance of good pubs and restaurants. The cottage has everything you need for a self catering holiday even in these Covid times including most importantly a comfy bed. Our stay was very short but no less enjoyable with breakfast and dinner in the garden and afternoons spent lazily reading the paper in the sun. John and Tiana were wonderful hosts and made us feel extremely welcome both before and during our visit. Nothing was too much trouble. An excellent find and one that I am sure we will return to.

Having stayed at several Premier Cottage holidays there is no doubt that Swingletree is one of the best cottages we have experienced. It is located in Maugersbury, a small hamlet on the edge of Stow on the Wold, and is one of several cottages on Park Farm. John and Tiana Ricketts are wonderful hosts and go out of their way to ensure you have an enjoyable stay. Our holiday was enhanced by the frequent visits of the resident black cat. The countryside around is magnificent and Stow can be reached by walking along a bridlepath from the farm in about ten minutes. There is a wealth of places to explore or, if you are feeling energetic, there are many local walks in the countryside.

We stayed at Swingletree for a long weekend at the end of September and it was absolutely fantastic, I couldn't fault a thing.
We followed the directions provided by Tiana before our stay and found the cottage easily. There is a good amount of space to park directly outside the front door and the cottage was ready for our arrival (just after 4pm).
From the minute we arrived I was extremely impressed, the cottage looked and smelled very clean and had everything you could need from cups, plates, bowls, wine glasses etc (and even tea, coffee, milk and biscuits!). There were also a number of cleaning products provided so we could try and keep things clean and tidy during our stay.
The cottage is absolutely beautiful and all the rooms are a good size and very comfortable. We particularly enjoyed using the log burner to keep warm in the evenings although I have to say that the cottage stays at a comfortable temperature throughout the day and night. The bedroom is very cosy and the bedding was so soft it guaranteed a good nights sleep.
There are stunning views from the table and chairs set up outside the back of the cottage and it was a great suntrap which meant it was enjoyable to sit out at all times of day.
John and Tiana spoke with us on several occasions during our stay and were very friendly. We didn't have many questions for them as all the information we could possibly need was provided within the very helpful folder in the cottage. The shortcut into Stow was great and we made a lot of use of it! I also spent a lot of time looking at the local information provided on the Park Farm Cottages website before our visit so I was able to make plans for our meals.
Swingletree is the perfect place for a lovely relaxing break and in a fantastic location. I would thoroughly recommend it.

It was lovely to stop at Swingletree, the place is super quiet and the cottage has everything you need for a break. We were there for 4 days and unfortunately it didn’t stop raining in that time but it was lovely and cosy with the log fire. There is a fenced off field which is brilliant for letting the dog run off some steam. John and Tiana were lovely hosts, welcomed you and then left you alone but were there if you needed them. Stow is brilliant for a few days try the sheep for pizzas they are amazing and greedy’s fish and chip shop is lovely for take aways. If you want some great meat then the butchers in town is fantastic stopped their on last day to get things to go home with. Every pub we went into was dog friendly which is great it may be one section but that’s fine. Didn’t really go to coffee shops as it was raining and also half term (which we forgot) but they all looked packed.
The cottage is great and I would recommend a stay there it was clean and tidy in beautiful surroundings, I hope to be back again in better weather to experience it properly.

Me and my partner had a very relaxing couple of nights staying in Swingletree. The facilities were excellent compared to what you would usually expect and the owners were very friendly and unobtrusive. We will definitely be back

We have been staying at this very quaint cottage for the past few years . Swingletree is like a second home. Tiana and John, the owners, are always on hand if you need anything but never intrusive . The cottage has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The kitchen is well equipped and has everything you need. The four poster bed is very comfortable and the bedroom has plenty of storage space . The living area is spacious and again has everything you need. We have stayed here during winter and just love the wood burner which is so cosy. The week we stayed here this summer was one of the hottest and the cottage being brick with the curtains drawn kept the cottage really cool. The outside patio area has chairs and a table and has a lovely seating area overlooking the farm. There is also two garden chairs to relax on . Stow on the Wold is just a short distance to walk and has plenty of pubs, cafés,restaurants among just a few of its attractions. Park farm holiday cottages is so worth a stay and swingletree is perfect for a couple. We would highly recommend this holiday cottage.

I can't speak highly enough of this accommodation and its whole surroundings. It was simply a wonderful time there and Tiana and John are the perfect hosts. The Cotswolds is a beautiful area of England. Coming back is high on our travel agenda, as even in 2 weeks, it is impossible to do the area justice or to get enough of the peaceful and perfect accommodation.

We stayed only for three nights on this occasion which wasn't enough. This was our third time here staying on Park Farm . We stay in swingletree which is a lovely cottage and has everything you need for a great vacation. The owners Tiana & John are always on hand if you need anything but not intrusive so your able to go about your day as you want. The grounds are lovely and is always so calming sitting outside overlooking the farm. Stow is only a few minutes walk which we love to look around, eat and have a drink, I would recommend The Bell for a drink and great food, with very pleasant staff. It's worth taking a drive to other towns which are all not too far away. We highly recommend it and will be going back very soon.

We were very warm and comfortable in this cottage. Really didn't want to leave. It had such a lovely aspect - the countryside views from the living room made it all so relaxing. Very well equipped and lots of thought gone into the the room decor. Loved all the pictures and ornaments around. The only item we would have appreciated would have been a mat beside the bed.
The cottage is very well-placed for Stow especially with the handy walking track to take you there in 10 minutes or so. Stow itself is particularly attractive with all its shops , pubs and cafes.
