From the moment we arrived at the entrance gates and we could see the property in front of us, we were blown away by how gorgeous it looked. When we entered the very large hall, we were greeted with lovely perfumed aroma's. There were plug in air fresheners around the house and it smelt divine. What a welcome. The house was perfect in every room and the quality of the furnishings and how thick the carpets are throughout, made this house so special in every way. I cannot thank Caroline our lovely caretaker enough for her kindness and attention to detail........... and then the icing on the cake...more
Lovely cottage on the hill side. Beautiful views and very peaceful. Everything was just perfect you could not ask for more.
Myself, my family and our dog spent a week in Beech Dreams and it was fantastic. The property was beautifully decorated and furnished. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. We wanted to explore the area so it was very well positioned to visit Snowdon (1 hour away), Betws-y-Coed (30 mins away), a few minutes drive from Llandudno & Conwy and a 20 minute walk from Deganwy where we did a lovely coastal walk. We would definitely re-visit.
What a wonderful holiday home! The photos do not do the view justice, the view from the living room/kitchen/master bedroom is just outstanding. Even in bad weather, the view is still something to behold. The apartment is very well furnished, and the electric blinds are a nice touch. Good fast internet combined with a smart TV in the living room and in every bedroom is a bonus. The location is brilliant, with several supermarkets within a 10 minute drive, and plenty of restaurant options nearby (including many on Just Eat and Uber Eats). The heart of Snowdonia is less than an hour's drive away ...more
Owner very helpful, plenty if room for our group. Two bathrooms/showers really helpful. We had two cars and although tight got them into the designated area. Fantastic views, lots of extras provided for a really enjoyable stay.
This cottage was ideal for us. We loved the venue with the art gallery and cafe next door. It was quiet and the owners were at hand only if the need arose. The cottage itself is well equipped and the decor and furniture was to our taste. We loved the art work on the walls. We would book the cottage again when staying in North Wales.
fabulous little hideaway in the welsh mountains...we couldnt have chosen a better place to spend christmas
Great property. The view is what makes it. Beds comfy with great quality bedding and nice soft towels. Great to have nice wine glasses as many rentals don’t. Nice to be able to walk to town. Good set-up in the family room. Overall great and will definitely be back.
Excellent place to stay. Rain or shine plenty of places to visit. Will definitely book cottage again.
Great facilities in an excellent cottage, perfect getaway. The owner was very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend the cottage.
We really enjoyed our stay at The Retreat. We looked for somewhere where we could switch off and just relax after not having a break for nearly 2 years. The Retreat is a lovely place to stay. It has everything two people and a dog need and is very clean and comfortable. It really feels like a home from home. It’s a welcoming place due to Beth being such a accommodating host. We really appreciated the delicious cake and fresh eggs. The views and setting are perfect. It is set next to Beth’s beautiful home, with wildlife all around you and the scenery goes on forever. We had days out at th...more
We stayed here for 5 days for our wedding anniversary. The location is perfect for local walks, amenities and getting to more distant places by car. The cottage is very cosy, clean and generally a lovely place to come back to after a day out in the fresh air. There are some lovely restaurants and pubs a stone's throw away from the cottage. Overall would definitely recommend.
Had a wonderful stay house was spot on great base to see local area would reccomend it Garden secure for the dogs Views front and back fantastic
My wife & I both agree that this 3rd floor apartment with it's amazing views and ideal location make this the perfect value-for-money holiday home in North Wales. No 69 has simply amazing views from both the living room and bedroom over the Conwy estuary, looking upriver to and beyond Conwy Castle, and out to sea (over the golf links) to Angelsey and the setting sun. Just sitting and looking out beats any TV programme on offer!! The location is just as good: Conwy and the Castle are an easy walk away (20 mins?), and the trains to Llandudno are frequent and cheap. Or - as we did - you can wal...more
The owners of the cottage are amazing, really helpful and friendly. The location is superb, close to all the natural attractions. The gallery and coffee shop are a must; tastefully done and a great place to relax. The grounds are equally beautiful. The cottage itself is really nicely done with all the comfort you need. I would say this is the most beautiful cottage I have been in for a very long time. The only problem was that the kitchen and downstairs (apart from the bathroom) were too cold as the radiators in those areas did not get warm enough. We reported this to the owners and I am su...more
Conwy is a lovely town with lots going on, the weather was kind to us and the house is in a superb location, just 10 mins walk into town. Lots of lovely local pubs, all that allowed dogs in and the people were friendly.
We love this beautiful high spec cottage and will be booking again. It is very stylishly decorated and comfortable with Neff appliances, excellent under floor heating and comfortable beds - we slept like logs! The view of the sea is stunning esp from the private terrace. Our kids loved the upstairs eaved bedroom, garden, private river and quick little path to the seaside. The perfect place to stay on the Llyn.
See improvements to the stay at the cottage. Comfortable especially with the woodburning fire. Very spacious.
Lovely cottage just a 10 minute walk from Conwy. Very comfortable. Had everything needed for an enjoyable holiday.
Our third stay at Estuary View and probably the best, thanks to the kind Welsh September weather. By far the best-located UK flat we've ever stayed in and, because of the wonderful views from the lounge window - definitely our favourite. Great restaurants/eateries within walking distance, lovely walks along the seafront and fantastically rewarding views from the top of the Vardre. Can recommend the Paysanne Bistro, Jai-Ho Indian restaurant and the Archway fish and chip shop in Conwy. Sue's beach hut along the prom towards Llandudno proved very handy for ice-creams. Had wonderful trips to Conwy...more
The location was absolute brilliant, however the property is very dated and tired looking. We didn’t sit in the living room as there was a musty smell and the chairs were not comfortable and broken in parts. The bedrooms were dusty as were the other rooms. There was far too much personal belongings of the owner in the house … it didn’t feel like a holiday rental.
