We throughly enjoyed our stay especially the 3 dogs who loved being so close to the beach. The facilities of the property were great. We were lucky with the weather so were able to enjoy the views the balcony had to offer. We will definitely be returning.
We enjoyed this perfectly equipped apartment and the amazing view and we definitely want to come back. Next time we hope for a little better weather with less wind and more sun so that we can enjoy our afternoon tea on the balcony.
We spent a week in mariner's Cottage in Deganwy. The accomodation was delightful-perfect for the 2 of us. The location was ideal for local restaurants and shops, a beach and lovely walks. The bedroom balcony was a sun trap as we were blessed with fabulous weather for the whole week. We enjoyed afternoon coffee and also watched glorious sunsets on the balcony. The owner kept in touch to make sure everything was ok and left essential for us when we arrived. We would definately stay here again.
Having spent a fabulous week at Plas Afron Cottage with my family We all agreed that it was an amazing experience from the cottage it’s self which was as good as if not better than the pictures on site when we booked to the location which allowed us easy access for touring about the wonderful North Wales. The Cottage was beautifully laid out with lovely touches one being garden which had magical fairy lights that with the back drop of the hills and great weather was very nice for sitting out after a busy day seeing the sites. My children were delighted with rooms one being on suite and my ...more
Had a lovely time thank you. Glorious setting and very hospitable hosts. All three cottages were lovely and worked well for three families.
We had a lovely time in this cottage, the bike shed and utility room were particularly useful. Thank you for a wonderful time.
This cottage was ideal for us. We loved the venue with the art gallery and cafe next door. It was quiet and the owners were at hand only if the need arose. The cottage itself is well equipped and the decor and furniture was to our taste. We loved the art work on the walls. We would book the cottage again when staying in North Wales.
I booked the Farmhouse at the last minute and could not have been more pleased with the property and view. The Farmhouse is in excellent condition and has a very nice garden to the front and side. There is a large car parking space solely for the use of the Farmhouse beside the property. The owners are very nice and very approachable, with plenty of tips on places to go. The Farmhouse is situated close to Conwy and was an excellent base to plan trips from, and to spend a lazy day sitting in the garden listening to the sounds of nature and relaxing. I would wholeheartedly recom...more
We realy liked the location of no14, parking was no issue though we parked v close the the house wall. Its many years since I had been to Conwy. It was quite busy in early September though it has a nice feel about the town.with interesting houses & streets. Many small shops & places to eat or snack. We walked the town walls though you have to be fairly fit & visited Plas Mawr. It was lovely to get the welcome gifts. House is small though has almost every thing required. Downstairs is a little dark but you can open the shutters if you want. The stairs are a little narrow though didnt cause us ...more
The Tree House is in a great location with the most amazing views. On the compact side but everything there that is needed. What makes this place extra special are the hosts, Patrick and June. Make you so welcome and happily give you free range to their wonderful garden, including barbecue.
we had an amazing holiday in this clean large &spacious holiday house and amazing views ideal for large group
We stayed here for 5 days for our wedding anniversary. The location is perfect for local walks, amenities and getting to more distant places by car. The cottage is very cosy, clean and generally a lovely place to come back to after a day out in the fresh air. There are some lovely restaurants and pubs a stone's throw away from the cottage. Overall would definitely recommend.
From the warm welcome by Beth the owner with her delicious home made Bara Bryth to her goodbyes a week later....everything was perfect. The accommodation is second to none....the kitchen is the best equipped I have seen....but if you do not fancy cooking...there are two pubs nearby that have a good menu... the lounge has a beautiful log fire with two comfy sofas to curl up on ...the bedroom has superb panoramic views of the beautiful surrounding area... You are within driving distance of lots of beautiful lakes castles and the seaside.... we shall definitely return...
The cottage had most of what we needed as a base for exploring the area. Initial problem with TV was quickly rectified by the owner. Would be nice to have a little outside space to sit but it is shared with the neighbours who had 3 large dogs at that time. In fairness that wouldn’t be a problem normally. It is well situated for exploring that part of North Wales , also nice and quiet location. We would certainly use the property again if in that area.
Lovely house, very homely and spacious. Garden stunning, summer house would have been lovely to use If slightly warmer weather. Bath lovely. Amazing kitchen fully equipped, lovely reading area in the sun room. Great location for Snowdon, zip world & zip forest. Fairy falls hotel was great for pub food.
This is the first time we have visited wales, we knew about how beautiful the area was through our friends in leeds who have been to the area before. No.69 was perfect in every way even in these COVID-19 times. The Flat was spotless, and great escapes wales were on hand to help with any issues (not that there were). The Owners have done an amazing job thinking of everything you could need. This is really like a home from home rather than just another holiday home. We came by car with a 1 year old and my parents but the flat felt roomy with extremely tasteful décor. The local amenities were fa...more
Beautiful property in the national park. Well equipped kitchen and nice shower room. Property is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area and owners are on site if you have need of assistance.
Ideally situated, comfortable and fully equipped. Downside: parking nigh on impossible as other residents parked outside the property, refuse bins outside front door were full and smelly on arrival and throughout stay.
Cottage neat and clean, beds comfortable and met all our needs. Hosts very friendly and helpful. So often in rental properties you never have enough toilet roll or hand soap in bathrooms so very pleased in plentiful supply here as usually my pet hate. Location peaceful and good base for days out.
The owners of the cottage are amazing, really helpful and friendly. The location is superb, close to all the natural attractions. The gallery and coffee shop are a must; tastefully done and a great place to relax. The grounds are equally beautiful. The cottage itself is really nicely done with all the comfort you need. I would say this is the most beautiful cottage I have been in for a very long time. The only problem was that the kitchen and downstairs (apart from the bathroom) were too cold as the radiators in those areas did not get warm enough. We reported this to the owners and I am su...more
Our second visit to this property and the much improved weather compared to last year meant we could take advantage of the decking area.
Thoroughly enjoyed our stay assisted by the glorious weather for the week. Excellent location with great views of castle and surrounding fields. House was very spacious and everything we needed was there. The designated car space allocated was great to have given parking restrictions nearby, however is was a daily event parking the car at the top of the hill at the rear of the property. It took three people to assist the driver in parking so we were pointing the right way next day. The parking space was an asset but problematic parking due to estate car. Would stay here again in the futu...more
The photos on the website must have been taken a while ago. The outside space is sadly in need of a god clean, weeding painting and a new table. The beds were so uncomfortable...we tried 2...that I got a bad back and we came home a day early to avoid another night. Ditto the settees in the lounge. Very saggy with no support. I know items had to be removed because of covid but we had so few kitchen utensils it was hard to cook a meal. A real shame as the cottage is in a great location. Not good enough and work needed Im afraid.
Comfortable cottage in stunning location, perfect for outdoor living and pursuits. Not great for small kids due to unguarded drops in garden. Direct access to footpaths and lake...fabulous! Great for Pete, although open plan can make containing them tricky! Well equipped kitchen.
The location of the cottage was perfect .It was a short stroll through a park to get to the centre of Conwy which was a buzzing little town with lots to see and do. i would say it was a little small for four people but just right for 2/3. It was immaculate on arrival with a treat of a bottle of wine and welsh cakes a nice touch. A good base to explore the north wales coast , Anglesey and Snowdonia. A must is to walk the walls of the town giving you stunning views .Everything you needed was in the cottage,. Not much of an outside area TV reception very poor and no internet. Also a blind needed ...more
Lovely homely comfortable cottage..thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Very steep driveway but manageable, lovely secluded garden. Would certainly recommend this cottage.
This was our Honeymoon in what should have been in the Maldives but we had a wonderful stay for 7 days in a lovely cottage in a lovely location. We would recommend staying here as it’s in a god location too only 15 miles from Conwy and Llandudno and other seaside resorts and also an hour from south stank and it’s light house which was wonderful. Really good honeymoon stay!
We had a good week staying in Sea View cottage. The accommodation was small but perfectly adequate for our stay as a family of two adults and one child. The cottage was well equipped and the welcome goods on arrival were much appreciated. The parking was a little bit challenging as limited space but saying that we did always manage to get a space. The cottage was very well situated within the town and only a short walk from all it had to offer. It was also well located for exploring the wider area. Overall a very pleasant week.
On a positive note this house was comfortably furnished and tastefully decorated. The house is close to Conwy and surf snowdonia. The carton of milk and loaf of bread left by the housekeep was thoughtful especially as the local shop opens on a part time basis was was closed when we arrived at 16:00hrs.nearby villages within driving distance have pubs serving decent food. Unfortunately there were many negatives about this property including: 1. No front door key provided. Which means that in the event of a fire escape from upstairs rooms probably doesn't comply with fire regulations for m...more
