This location, whilst tricky to find, is just fantastic; breathtaking views and peace and quiet! The cottage was clean and well equipt, including information about the area and lots of board games. Our kids LOVED feeding the chickens our scraps and the pool was a big hit and a decent size for proper swimming. We had good weather so largely used the house as a base to explore the area and all the beaches. The owner was friendly and helpful, but kept to himself which we appreciated. We would certainly recommend this property to friends and family and would book again should we go to the same are...more
What a gem of a find. From the moment we opened the door on the first day we knew we had made the right choice in booking this property. The furniture was to a high standard and the kitchen was well equipped with everything you needed. It was a lovely personal touch having scones, milk and tea waiting for us. The property was in a great position only minutes from the harbour and even less to the shops. Parking was tight but was managable. Conwy itself is beautiful with lovely walks along the wall and an easy walk into Deganwy. Looking forward to booking for next year.
The cottage is a small two bed terrace house in the centre of a small village. It was very clean and had everything that you could need, and more! A warm welcome with goods from the welsh food centre was really nice. It is directly opposite the village pub, The Bee but this didn't disturb us. The pub is closed Monday, Tuesday but then has something different every night so a great reason to go back every night and not to cook. Pizza and quiz on Wednesday was good fun. Close to Conwy, Bodnant Gardens, Llandudno and slate mines, zip wires, bounce below and more. We would definitely recommend...more
A very clean comfortable cottage with great views overlooking Conway estuary from the balcony The cottage was well equipped with everything you need to make your stay enjoyable and if you need anything Julie the host is on hand if you have any problems.
An ideally located property, easy to get around Snowdonia, Angelsey and the North Welsh Coast from. Bangor is very close for the Supermarket and the local service station has a decent shop. We did not eat out but there are plenty of pubs etc in nearby Tregarth and Bethesda. The property itself is very clean, it looks recently decorated and well maintained, it was great to have a shower that actually gets you wet and is simple to control (often not the case). The kitchen had all the utensils you require the only thing not there is a grill. The property felt very homely and we were made v...more
It was our fourth visit to this property and we had as fabulous a time as ever. Looking forward to being back.
A beautiful house in a lovely location. Has everything you need inside and great outside space too. Immaculately presented and the owner’s communication was brilliant. Will definitely book again when in North Wales as it’s an excellent base for exploring the whole area.
Fab-u-lous! This was our second visit to Watersedge and we love it so much we have booked two more weeks.
Comfortable accommodation with everything one requires, a home from home. Great views of the sea and Criccieth castle.
Perfect cottage for time away with the family. Lovely views, peaceful location and close to lots of places to visit. Swimming pool was an added bonus loved by the kids. Nice gardens for kids to run around and hens to feed. Cottage had all the things you would need and was lovely and clean. We had a wonderful time and would definitely return.
Having spent a fabulous week at Plas Afron Cottage with my family We all agreed that it was an amazing experience from the cottage it’s self which was as good as if not better than the pictures on site when we booked to the location which allowed us easy access for touring about the wonderful North Wales. The Cottage was beautifully laid out with lovely touches one being garden which had magical fairy lights that with the back drop of the hills and great weather was very nice for sitting out after a busy day seeing the sites. My children were delighted with rooms one being on suite and my ...more
Had a lovely time thank you. Glorious setting and very hospitable hosts. All three cottages were lovely and worked well for three families.
This is our third visit to this cottage as it’s location, facilities and size are great for our family. The children love the sun room/ play room and it’s only a couple of minutes from beautiful Beaumaris pier. An excellent base for north Wales and I’m sure we’ll be back.
We spent a week in the Tree House and it will remain a treasured memory. All our ratings are “Excellent” and here are a few reasons why: The room has uninterrupted, wide views towards Afon Conwy, towards Conwy castle and towards sunsets. Just sitting and looking out is a holiday. There is a feeling of generosity. We were made to feel we were valued guests. For example, we were encouraged to use the heating as much as we wanted. We were encouraged to ask for anything we needed. We were invited to use the landlords’ large garden. The landlord and landlady live in the adjacent house, ...more
very well presented with plenty of added extras that were appreciated.being old, the stairs presented a bit of a problem. but we enjoyed our stay.
Very comfortable cottage in rural setting. However It was only a few minutes from ZipWorld which the kids loved ( we went three times!) and the lovely village of Llanrwst. The cottage itself was very well equipped and felt home from home with an aga and two log burning stoves. The ice machine on the fridge was particuary loved as well as the enormous TV. We were a family of three generations and enjoyed our stay immensely and would recomend this cottage to others.
Stayed in the farmhouse with my husband and 2 children (13 & 6) and had the most comfortable and enjoyable stay. The farmhouse location ensures privacy, comfort and silence (except the odd sheep!) Even with its secluded location half way up the huge hill, its not very far to drive to get to the most gorgeous beaches and the thrills of all the activities north wales has to offer. We had the best time and the farmhouse provided a real 'home from home' at the end of each fun packed day!!
Excellent location. Enjoyed walks with our dog with lovely views in all directions. Great castle and walls. Fish and chip shop superb at bottom of the road. 200 metres approx. Obvious drawback is parking for a large car. Good job the neighbors are so friendly. Property nice and clean. Very comfortable bed. .The weather just topped off our week by being sunny and warm. Had a great time.
As advertised this property is compact, but was absolutely perfect for our family stay, ( 3 children under 11). We spent a lot of time out and about. The house has been really well finished, and a good bathroom and shower. The back terrace was great for sitting out on and the location of the house was perfect for walking in and around Conwy, including the amazing city walls. We did not have an issue with parking as we were happy to park elsewhere, however the only downside for some visitors could be the somewhat tricky, steep parking in the dead end street outside the house.
Caretaker's Cottage. Ffin y Parc is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed. The place is so classy. We stayed in one of the cottages. One arrival we were greeted with a bottle of red wine / coffee with several cakes on the table. (Nice touch). All cakes are home made in the coffee shop. The decor in the cottage is right up to date with the outstanding art work. The beds are so comfortable with great quality bedding. The grounds are on 14 acres of land plenty of space to enjoy. Stunning backdrop from the garden. The gallery next door is really worth a visit. It is over two fl...more
The apartment was great; ideal location and super facilities. Lots of space for 2 couples - big bedrooms, roomy sofas in the lounge for all to collapse on after busy days out. Nice to have the bedrooms on different floors as well, as it gave us the feeling of a bit more privacy for each couple. Unfortunately, the smell of damp and general dampness throughout let it down a bit. We did a wash while we were away, but due to the weather weren't able to hang the items outside, and some things weren't properly dry by the time we left (too warm to put on heating). Slippers and jackets left in the...more
From the warm welcome by Beth the owner with her delicious home made Bara Bryth to her goodbyes a week later....everything was perfect. The accommodation is second to none....the kitchen is the best equipped I have seen....but if you do not fancy cooking...there are two pubs nearby that have a good menu... the lounge has a beautiful log fire with two comfy sofas to curl up on ...the bedroom has superb panoramic views of the beautiful surrounding area... You are within driving distance of lots of beautiful lakes castles and the seaside.... we shall definitely return...
No 69. Back York Road is a lovely self contained apartment on the front in Deganwy with stunning views over the estuary and mountains. I stayed at the property for two weeks with my 16 month old daughter. The apartment itself is very tastefully decorated with all the facilities you could need, bed linen, kitchen utensils, tea bags etc. The beds are very comfortable and the massive bath was a hit with my daughter. The apartment also has an additional entrance / exit down to the front in deganwy which is handy when you want to pop to the shops or go for a walk along the beach. Despite bei...more
Lovely cottage with friendly hosts. Great location, away from it all, but near all the local attractions
Beautiful property in the national park. Well equipped kitchen and nice shower room. Property is an ideal base to explore the surrounding area and owners are on site if you have need of assistance.
What a lovely cottage! When we arrived after a long journey, it was so nice to find cake waiting for us to have with a cup of tea!. The cottage itself was beautiful with everything we needed for our stay to be as comfortable as possible. Wonderful.
A well presented comfortable cottage, well appointed and in a nice position overlooking Surfing Snowdonia. The two en suites upstairs and separate shower room downstairs is an excellent idea. The heating units although a little difficult to programme, if you don't know them, are very efficient when mastered. The kitchen is very nice and well laid out. A pity previous guests had not all looked after it . Having said that we would love to return and would recommend Pipeline to others. Thanks for what was a lovely week
The owners of the cottage are amazing, really helpful and friendly. The location is superb, close to all the natural attractions. The gallery and coffee shop are a must; tastefully done and a great place to relax. The grounds are equally beautiful. The cottage itself is really nicely done with all the comfort you need. I would say this is the most beautiful cottage I have been in for a very long time. The only problem was that the kitchen and downstairs (apart from the bathroom) were too cold as the radiators in those areas did not get warm enough. We reported this to the owners and I am su...more
Bref, adresse recommandable.
Location was good for exploring North Wales with easy access to Conwy, Llandudno and Anglesey, all of which are well worth visiting. The apartment itself was OK. Beds were comfortable, heaps of wardrobe space equipment in wardrobes for a baby (though it would be difficult getting a baby and pram down to the apartment I think), full size fridge in kitchen (always a bonus) and fantastic views over the estuary. We really enjoyed our stay in the area. But there are a few negatives: 1) the parking area for the car is very dodgy - it is in a dead-end back street and at night there were lots of...more
It is in an excellent location a few small things let it down. It was a shame there had not been anybody in the week before and it had not been checked. We found mouse droppings in the wardrobe in the annex and oil splashed up the back of the cooker. Empty packets under the settee and i'm afraid the telly is on its way out. But all that said it's a great place and swimming in the lake was great and all the walks. The last few miles can be a bit tight if you have a big car but our daughter thought it was great in her small one. It is a beautiful part of the country and well worth a visit.
The Apartment was very nice, cosy an clean. The fridge was full of delicious things for an original welsh breakfast. The furnitures were new and the kitchen was also well equipped. It was very near to the city centre and the promenade as well as the most of sights in town. It was a pleasant stay for our family.
A wonderful cottage in a wonderful area! We had a great time in North Wales. The house has more than enough space. We loved the conservatory with look in the nature. Perfect for families. Colwyn Bay have many supermarkets and many other shops. We can absolutely recommend this house.
