A wonderful place to leave the hustle and bustle of city life behind. Spent 3 days of pure relaxation watching the wildlife of the Wyre forest, the deer a special highlight. Rob and Kim excellent hosts.
We had a really good week. The lodge was comfortable. Having our own hot tub was great. The outlook towards the forest was pleasant and we enjoyed seeing the deer that came close to the lodge. There were also buzzards and flocks of goldfinches flying nearby. There is a pub within walking distance and the forest visitor centre is very nearby with walks and cycle hire. We visited the Severn Valley Railway, hired canoes on the River Severn and found other great places nearby such as Much Wenlock and Ludlow.
