Furlongs is a stunning property - spacious and luxurious while still feeling homely and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you could possibly need. The rooms were of a good size, all decorated to a very high standard - comfortable sofas and chairs. The upstairs rooms were the same, the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up ! And the views were to die for - you are surrounded by beautiful green farmland in all directions as far as the eye can see, with the sea in the distance - the local church (with church bells on the hour) and St. Catherine's Chapel at the ...more
Wonderful remote location in a beautiful barn.Loads of space inside and out and safe for kids and dogs.
Good size rooms and very spacious living area. Enjoyed our 4 day stay in glorious early autumn weather.
We absolutely loved our week here. Just the nicest house and so beautifully quiet and with everything one could have wanted and so well decorated. Lovely place to sit outside and even when pouring with rain it was so so light and very cosy.
Lovely walks directly from the house and so much to do round and about. A really lovely place to stay.
We have returned to Clayhanger every September for several years now. The house is spacious, always immaculately clean and very well presented. Stayed here for a week with my elderly parents and two dogs as it was away from it all.. This place was amazing surrounded by countryside and all the attraction within an easy drive.
The Stables accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. The sofa was a little low for my parents as it was well worn could maybe do with replacing. Small inconvenience for such a gorgeous place.
I would 100% recommend this property as it is safe for animals, children and people looking for a get away. It will not disappoint
Very enjoyable few days. Quiet location. We went as 2 couples - property might be a bit small for 6 people. No instructions provided for use of appliances but not difficult to master. Would definitely stay again.
