No 5 Coach house is a 3 bedroom Self Catering Holiday Home, sleeps 6 , suitable for families,the elderly, ambulant disabled and is Pet Friendly set in Perthshire countryside only 2 miles from the centre of Perth.
The property has been renovated to a Traditional and high standard for guests enjoyment. This spacious accommodation is on a split level with only 3 steps(with handrails) to the lower level. On entry there is 1 Twin Bedroom with an e nsuite, 1 double Room with en suite and walk in in shower, A fully fitted Kitchen and separate Utility Room. The lower level there is 1 Twin Bedroom, main bathroom with shower and bath and a spacious Lounge with French doors which leads onto a private patio. WI-FI provided, Free Parking for 2 cars in the courtyard. Located in a peaceful idyllic setting with stunning walks from the front door. Swift access to all major motorways makes it easy to go touring Scotland.

Coach House 5 is a brilliant place to spend your holiday when coming to Scotland. It can accommodate up to six people. The location is accessible to anything and everything you would want to experience north of the border - walking, golfing, visiting historic sites, accessing spectacular scenery - all within a hour of travelling in any direction.
The accommodation is second to none and would be hard to beat anywhere else. The welcome is always warm and friendly and we would go nowhere else. Thank you for making this holiday specially good for the both of us.

We stayed here for 2 weeks with family & had an incredible time. From the living space to the kitchen to the lounge area, we were very impressed from the moment we walked in. Each morning we looked out onto the hill & saw three beautiful horses (Sammy, Belle, & May). Can’t wait for our next trip!

Clean , peaceful and stunning scenery on view without even having to leave the house.
Plenty to do if you want on bike, running,walks and not far from being into Perth.

This property is ideal in every way. Spacious accomodation and in a very peaceful location, but easily within reach of Perth and surounding area. I highly recommend it. The added bonus is watching the horses and ponies from the RDA grazing in the surrounding fields.

Quiet country location with easy access to Perth City Centre. We enjoyed great walks up Kinnoull Hill and the Deuchneys every day, just a 5 minute drive to the top of the road. The coach house was clean, comfortable, cosy and well equipped with lovely surroundings and views. We will definitely return and would highly recommend. Thank you Susan for your hospitality and your help in adjusting our booking at the last minute.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautifully looked after accommodation with lots of character. Our group included children and an elderly relative. Susan was very responsive when the property required some minor attention. This is a fabulous property with everything one needs to make it a home away from home! There were no problems whatsoever from the basic requirements during ones holidays to the WiFi etc. The idyllic location and sorrounded by Kinnoul woods only makes it all the more special. It is a very close to Perth and is central to access a number of places between the highlands and lowlands.

We made most of our stay and enjoyed some scottish sunshine as well.

I would highly recommend this place and will be going back as there is so much more to explore.

The cottage was lovely, very well looked after and comfortable. All the bedrooms were of a great size with comfortable beds lots of wardrobe space and numerous hangers which is always a bonus. The living room had two large settees with a view out to fields and grazing horses from the next-door riding school. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything you could need. The cottage is dog-friendly with a path around the property which was perfect for my granddaughter to walk her dog “Lotty”.The location was quiet and ideal for Perth and the surrounding area. A short drive away is the NT Branklyn Gardens which I highly recommend. We had a very enjoyable week at this cottage.

We honestly had the best week
Lovely accommodation with everything we could ask for,so safe for our dog so dog friendly,the weather was great sat outside and spoke to all the the people that worked in the stables,lovely walks. Wonderful accommodation, set in a beautiful tranquil location. The house was an excellent size as there was 6 of us (3 generations of the family), we could find our own space and a great living room with gorgeous outlook to get together. The kitchen was very well equipped as we catered for a further 4 for Christmas dinner.

We had fantastic walks up Kinoull Hill and the easy access to Perth and Dundee by car was great for that touch of city life.

We hope to visit again

A lovely, well equipped property with a large lounge, good sized kitchen and ensuite bedrooms.
It is a quiet setting with good parking and yet it is just a short drive to the shops and concert halls in Perth.
This is our 3rd visit and we will certainly return.

We had a wonderful time on this holiday. The house was 5 star quality, every possible need was catered for.
We loved waking each morning to the view of the beautiful horses.
The RDA riding stables are something to behold. I have never seen such clean stables before. The staff were very helpful and my family enjoyed riding lessons there.
There are many fabulous places to visit without travelling far, and many exceiient eating places in Perth and the surrounding area.
I would recommend this location highly to everyone.
We hope to visit again as often as possible.
Top marks to all the staff for their help and kindness to us.

We had a fantastic time at Coach House No 5. If I was to grumble about anything (which would be difficult) it was the double bed was only a double and there was space and would have preferred a king, also was not overly comfy. Apart from this the Coach House No 5 was perfect for us in every other way, would I recommend it, without a doubt !

We spent a faboulous week in coach house no5. We booked at the last minute due to being let down by another holiday let that had double booked us, however this turned out to be a blessing in discuise as we have found a real gem. Coach house no5 is very spacious and was very clean upon arrival. The communications were spot on. We had the most relaxing holiday with our four children. The location is fantastic with lots of places to walk and beautiful scenery. We can't wait to book again.

From the moment I contacted Susan about renting Coach House 5, it felt warm and personal. We had never visited Scotland and were not sure where to have our base. Boy, we we lucky! Everything was just so perfect -- the Coach House set-up, with a ring of houses to let,was an amazing re-construction of what photos showed to be a decrepit property back in 2003. The rooms were large and comfortable.

The living room had a private patio facing the fields where the horses lived and stopped by to say hello. The family members who live on site, especially Winnie, was a hoot and gave us great recommendations, was full of generosity of spirit and smile on her face.

Being so near Perth was good, but the truly wonderful surprise was that the King's Coronation Road was so near, and a stunning Knolls Hill Park for walks and views of the valleys was off the same path.

We were lucky in many many ways to find this place, this family -- but we were luckiest in that it only rained one night.

Excellent stay. Everything we needed for our week stay and easy access to Perth. The beds were comfy and the kitchen had everything that we required. The only issues we had were the boiler tripped off one morning and the wifi was very slow if working at all at times.

Diese Wohnung innerhalb eines Komplexes von umgebauten Pferdestallungen und Kutschenremisen trägt die Akkolade «auf höchstem Niveau» zu recht. Alles war grosszügig und exquisit ausgebaut. Mein einziger Kritikpunkt ist, dass man heute wohl besser Fussbodenheizung verwendet hätte, speziell in den Badezimmern und der sehr grossen Küche, die anderen Zimmer und die Korridore hatten grosszügige Teppiche, wo es nicht so auffiel.
Die Lage in der Nähe von Perth ist interessant, die Aussicht eher etwas bescheiden. Allerdings muss man ein Auto haben, denn der ÖV ist dort noch ziemlich unbekannt. Mit dem Auto sind es etwa 10 Minuten in die Innenstadt. Perth ist auch ideal gelegen, um die schottlandgeschichtlich sehr interessante Umgebung intensiv zu erkunden, sind doch Stirling, Dundee, Scone Palace, St. Andrew alle nur etwa einer Stunde erreichbar. Glasgow und Edinburg in etwa anderthalb, wobei ich hier eher den Zug empfehle, da beide Städte ausgesprochen parkteuer sind.
Auch Golfspieler kommen auf ihre Rechnung sind doch gleich zwei «Mekkas» in der Nähe, St. Andrews (der Weltnabel der Golfergemeinde) und die weltbekannten Plätze von Gleneagles.
Fazit: eine ganz tolle Sylvester-Woche, die wir trotz den wirklich ausserordentlichen Stürmen und Regenfällen mit fast überall vorhandenem Hochwasser, genossen haben. Nicht zuletzt wegen der Grösse und Bequemlichkeit aller Räume und der beinahe lückenlosen Einrichtung. eigentlich fehlte nur der Begrüssungs-Dram.

We had stayed previously in Coach houses 3 and 4 and we were not disappointed with number 5; the bedrooms had plenty of storage space; the kitchen was well equipped; the sitting room was comfortable. Add to that the location ,the views and the equestrian activities and you find a package which appealed to the age range from 9 to 71 in our party of 4.
